Friday’s are Hopper nights with unlimited hoppers and curry ,we love the sweet hoppers
Staff are friendly and accommodating
we have recommended Mithus restaurant to many of our friends ,they have nothing but praise for the amazing food and the value they get for their money
Attended Mithu's all you can eat hopper night on Friday for only $13 - an unending stream of fresh hoppers and spicy curries. Ended it with sweet hoppers - a first for me. The only thing better was the warm hospitality and service. I'll definitely be back.
Delicous, freshly cooked all you can eat hoppers plus curry for only $13 on fridays. What a bargain. Plus great service. Would highly recommend
Situated close to Flemington station, this family restaurant specialized in Sri Lankan's food. Most people would order take away. We tried their Chicken Sting Hopper Biryani. The dish is not very spicy just as we ordered. It took a while to come out due to peak hour lunch time. The dish has wonderful smell and taste like heaven. The prices are reasonable too.

Mithu's looked like just the right place to start our Sri Lankan education. The menu has plenty of things we've never heard of and the customers seem to be from Sri Lanka or thereabouts.
Food is great and budget friendly. Tried their snacks Lamb roll, fish roll, dal vadas and got string hoppers for Takeaway. Everything was perfect. Whenever we visit flemington market we dine at Mithus.
Delish!. AMAZING! Delicious Faluda, Divine String Hoppers and Delectable Wattlapam. This was my first foray into Sri Lankan cuisine and what a treat it was! I had the best butter chicken of my life- so much flavour and so tender!
I wil be back. Not only is the food fantastic, the hospitality is second to none. Thank you Mithu!
To the below comment - 'Robert',
you must be a friend of Dan's. That's why you're so bias. And completely wrong.
When Dan's was around no one knew about it. Now that Mithu's is there, people travel great distances to experience the truly missed 'taste of home'. Good, quality Sri Lankan home cooking.
Where else, in today's world, can you go and fill your stomach with good food for under $10?
Fantastic place!
Sri Lankan home style cooking. Really good Sri Lankan food (and some Indian dishes) at this tiny cafe that seats 15 max. Very reasonable prices. The kotthu roti and masala dosa were standouts. Hoppers are available on weekend evenings.
One Of the best fresh rolls i ever taste...
You will never get a rolls in dollar $1.5 anywhere...
Highly recommend to grab the test once ....
Best Quality and service ... ✌️✌️✌️✌️
Best for students and for whom are in rush anf very convenient just infront of flemington station... ...
Friendly staff.. Dosa was great.. Biriyani was average. They should marinated the chicken better.. but I won’t mind going again when I am in that area.
Really good place. Simple ambience, great food.
Delicious Sri Lankan food. Just had all you eat buffet dinner. Sumptuous Hoppers and curries for only $13 per person. Highly recommend for a hearty meal and exceptional service from a friendly staff who made us feel at home.
Good food. Everything else is average or a little below average. Their buffet offer on Friday evenings is a must try if you like the Srilankan/ South Indian cuisine. Usually one chicken curry, one fish curry and a veg curry available to have with plain hoppers/egg hoppers. Milk hoppers - coconut milk and jaggery on top of plain hopper - gives a nice finish to your meal.
This is a wonderful restaurant for healthy, nourishing, spicy sri-lankan food, must go destination if you like srilankan curries, fried rice, buriyani, kothu, shorties not only srilankan indian food as well. Very good friendly staff, can call and order as well.
