Such a surprising shop, cheap fresh fruit and veggies, delicious pastries. The vanilla slice was one of the best I've had. The Snapper and chips for $15 was huge, perfectly cooked and excellent value. Might have to have the flathead tomorrow. Coming back anyway to buy some groceries.
$12 flathead and chips was great value for two people and tasted yum! One of the best choc milkshakes around $4.50 for LARGE! Thanks for a great lunch.
A few weeks back my fella and I popped in for some food and let’s just say the frozen fish that was sat on top of the fridge had more personality than the owner. Even the seagulls went interested in the scraps. Would maybe come back if I was wheelchair bound with serious dementia and was left there
first visit received poor customer service, made to feel like intruding and not welcome. Coffee was weak. in subsequent visit (as is the only place in town that does soy milk) was more welcoming and coffee was better. Also has reasonably priced fruit & veggies.
The owner was just so very rude. I asked him the opening hours....he didn't make eye contact
With me, but hissed at me " just wait" couldn't believe the way he spoke to me.
Obviously overworked ,seems to be running the whole cafe and shop alone.

Left without ordering any food as owner obviously didn’t want me there.
Asked about chicken salt and he slammed the shaker on the counter in front of me. It was so ridiculous it almost made me laugh.
Also he treated his employee terribly in front of customers.

Horrible customer service, felt like it was a chore to show the size of the chips and any questions asked seemed to be too difficult. Took business elsewhere as he definitely didn't want it.
Agreed, the chap that runs this place is plain rude and obnoxious. Chips mediocre, fresh Emperor for $20, dry & over cooked. This man either needs to learn some manners, and stop complaining so much, or move along. Only good thing are the fresh fruit & veges.
