This is a really nice and relaxing suburban cafe with a great offering of the usual brunch meals. My friend and I came here on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The decor is modern, the layout is spacious and the service is friendly. My smashed avocado was delicious - the amount of avocado to bread ratio was just right and the feta, seeds, nuts and beetroot dip complemented the dish well. My friend’s waffle benedict looked amazing and tasted just as much too.
I love visit Morris and it’s one of my favourite cafes in hoppers crossing.
Food came pretty quickly, presentation was great.
Usually staff is very attentive however it was not the case today. Took over 5 mins to get menu after being seated and waited awhile to order.
French toast with poached pear ($18)
First time trying and loved it! I usually love savoury foods in the morning, this was well balanced! The poached pear was sweet and savoury, and the other elements were not overpowering with sweetness. Would recommend if you can not handle too much sugar in one go (I get sick)
Waffle Benny with pulled pork ($18.5)
One of my all time favourites, never disappoints. I usually prefer hollandaise sauce on the side so I can control how much I want to have (once again I get sick of rich flavours easily). Easily one of my go to.
Overall still one of my favourite breakfast/brunch places in the west
Food and service were exceptional!!! It goes beyond my expectations to be honest so I will definitely come back for more...The place is soooo busy during peak hours so I might try to go different time next but keep up the good work! 👍🏻😊
Delicious food, great atmosphere, very professional and attentive staff.
The coffee is good, and there’s a wide range of food on the breakfast menu. We’ve been twice now and will continue to go.
What a local hidden gem!!! We always walked past but never get a chance to try, finally we went for brunch last weekend and LOVE it!!!! Food was amazing, they are so delicious and well cooked!! Best brunch place in the area!! Definitely will visit again!!!!

I've ordered the waffle benny and chicken burger. Best mushroom I've ever had. Must try it. Chicken burger is good as well. I like the texture of the chicken and salad inside. Chips is crunchy.
Good service and fresh, quality food. Ordered the chilli scramble and my partner had the fried chicken burger. We both ate ours within seconds. Great coffee too!
Enjoyed my breakfast here at Morris and Heath. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I went for the breakfast board and I think it's my favourite I've tried. It's fresh and is the perfect size for a light breakfast. My favourite was the granola.
So nice to have nice coffee in the western suburbs of Melbourne!
Love the food here. Had the bagels Benny and the chilli egg. Was really good and tasty. Atmosphere is really nice and service was great. And the coffee, coffee was really good as well. Will be back.
Brunch with the mister is quite a rare event given his weekend work schedule but as luck would have it, we found ourselves a little pocket of time for a quick brunch date one Saturday afternoon. Our brunch date took place at Morris and Heath, quite a distance out in the west side in Hoppers Crossing. It’s somewhat comforting to know that good coffee now exists out in the ‘burbs should we ever find ourselves further out. The food itself was also deserving of a thumbs up.
Great staff, great food, great vibe.
The coffee is consistently on point and the food is a nice balance between healthy, tasty and interesting.
Always a good time, which is why we keep going back.
Hoppers is lucky to have such a quality cafe in the area.
Nice little breakky joint out west, located in the hoppers crossing shopping district.. this sunlit cafe is always busy on a weekend.. Plenty of parking around and decent food..
Good for a stopover when going out for some morning shopping or just reading the papers and having a coffee to pass the time..
Good to see more brunch places out in the west.. I’m defiant a supporter.. Decent food and coffee..
Very fast service, with friendly and knowledgeable staff with amazing mood to choose from. You can clearly tell they care about their craft as their coffee is top notch. Would particularly recommend their fritters.......
Tried Morris& Heath for the first time and liked the ample sitting space, delicious food and with tea-leaves chai latte #PranaChai. Loved the tomato kasoumdi sauce, 😋. Though due to high orders at same time, food waiting was upto 25 mins, but it was worth it. I would have liked my Chai a lot hotter. Overall a nice place with good staff & food. #SaturdayBreakfast #BreakfastDate

Always happy when I come here, great service and food. Keep it this way, and I will be happy to always come ❤️

Today I must write a review on this place, no photos taken as each time when we go we were too hungry and ended up no photos! The coffee here are the best for me, and their chili scrambled eggs are just superb! The staffs here are so friendly as well, very alert too... will definitely be back!
A friendly local brunch place to enjoy great tasting food. Their chilli scrambled eggs and potato rosti tastes amazing. Their hot chocolate was sweet and flavoursome, although half of the cup was froth. Recommend if you are looking for a place to dine in the outer southwest.
Visited Morris and Heath for the first time today, and by god i was not disappointed. I'm an avid lover of french toast and nutella, and their nutella french toast joined the two perfectly. Paired with fruit topped it all off.
Their mocha panna cotta was to die for. It had the perfect ratio of espresso and chocolate.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are lovely!
10/10 for the coffee.
This has become our local brunch spot. The burgers and breakfast foods are delicious, namely the poppyseed and lemon ricotta hot cakes. This place is vibrant, with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. If this place was in a “trendier” suburb it would give the likes of Kettle Black and Top Paddock a run for their money. West is best!
Lovely staff and food! Pancakes and avo smash are highly recommended. Staff is lovely and service is very prompt. Def coming back. Coffee is good too

Lunch visit today... will be back for brunch.
Chicken burger & stir fry pork were our choices & good options too. Although they didn’t quite nail the pork i dont know why they added the sourdough it was pretty soggy but flavours were still good.
Staff were great & coffee was good.
Great place for brekky on a Sunday morning! Loved the smashed avo on toast and the coffee was delicious. Nice and modern feel and the food was presentable. Always busy and the locations great as there’s lots of parking at the shopping centre. We had great service and the staff were lovely!
Lovely staff and menu! I had the porridge which was utterly scrumptious and my sister had the breaky board. It looked delicious! We will definitely return!
I keep coming back for their Lemongrass ginger congee - it's ridiculously comforting and delicious especially in the colder weather. The staff are always so friendly and the coffee is great!
Great food, even better service. I'd recommend the benedict bagel and the apple pie porridge! Best coffee in Hoppers Crossing and my new local
Great breakfast and coffee. Staff service is super friendly and a hip style cafe in HX. The Benny bagel is amazing and a must try! The hot cakes were fluffy with perfect toppings.
FINALLY! An amazing cafe in Hoppers Crossing. I’m always trekking around melbourne to meet my friends for brunch, so it’s lovely to have something 10 minutes from my house. Food and customer service is amazing, some of the big cafes in melbourne could learn and thing or two! Can’t wait to try Monroe!
Hands down the best smashed avocado I have had in the whole of Melbourne. These days every cafe is coming up with their own OTT version of smashed avo with so many toppings. I love this place because they always get their smashed avo right. The coffee is great , the staff friendly and good ambience too.
These hotcakes = Amazing! Not only well they delicious, but well presented and full of flavour.
Would totally recommend this place 😊
My only small criticism is the hotcakes could’ve been a bit more warm on the inside
Really good place this. It was packed on a Sunday morning but the service was super fast and friendly. Coffee is very good too. Highly recommend.
There is a clear lack of quality breakfast/brunch spots in the vicinity, so its easy to assume that is the sole reason for how busy the venue can be on a Saturday. Got shown to a table fairly early, and although the food did take some time to be brought out, i can say it was justified. All items were delicious and very well presented. I got the cauliflower fritters (with something other that just cauliflowers in the fritters obviously) with a decent helping of bacon.
Coffee was good as well, and they stock proud mary's for their beans.
Glad that there is a valid option available in the vicinity.
Visited on a Saturday morning. It was very busy, the entire venue was packed, and we had to wait quite a while before our orders were taken, and for our meals to arrive. Both food and coffee did not disappoint. Given that there aren't too many cafes of this quality in the area, the busyness is understandable. Having said that, being too busy and packed -it isn't exactly a great place to catch up over a cuppa and brunch
Bacon and eggs on toast was an easy and expected dish. The smashed avo was creamy and light, though the bread was lacking. It's a small amount of bread and because they aren't thick pieces of sourdough, they resemble more of thin toast. It tasted like normal toast.
The chai I thought needed to be a little stronger, despite brewing for a while but the coffee was sharp, bitter and strong. Just like coffee should be.
Went here for lunch and ordered the smashed avo, and it was hands down the best smashed avo I've ever had (and I've had a lot)! Great amount of avo and feta and the beet purée was delicious! Staff were super friendly, great service! Will definitely be back!
Morris and Heath is exactly what we needed in the area, something new, modern and provide more healthier food options! It is now my go to cafe.
Finally, a decent cafe with nice sitting area in the west. Initially we came here just for coffee, but then we tried the ham and cheese croissants and GF brownie as well. It was lovely! Great latte and hubby love the hot chocolate too. The croissants were yum. Wish they have more variety on the cake shelf. But definitely will come back here for the coffee and will surely try their food.
Love this place! Am a regular now. Food is great and the service a high level ! Nice to have something of this calibre in the area. I recommend the avo smash !
I think this place is hit and miss depending on what you order. I had the lean green and enjoyed it (although felt like it needed some grilled corn or goats cheese to make it amazing). Bf had chilli eggs which was awesome! Vanilla milk shakes just tasted like milk. One of the male staff was friendly enough, one of the female staff looked really angry the entire time. Venue is nice. Overall, room for improvement but it is above average and I will be back!
Got the bagel benny for breakfeast here. Was very good. Half bagel at the bottom good amount of pulled pork couple of pieces of rosti and chiotle chilli lime hollandaise with 2 poached eggs. Decent serving size was satisfied by the end. Lots of other things to choose from so will need to come back for more.
The west suffers from an lack of quality breakfast spots, and good coffee. Luckily we now have this neat little place to drop it and grab a bite to eat. Food has always been lovely, coffee is good too, only recommendations is to incorporate coconut milk into your menus for fussy coffee drinkers like me!
A relatively new addition to Hoppers Crossing, and offering some serious competition to local favourite Corinthians, Morris + Heath packs some serious punch. The interior design by Ritz & Ghougassain is hugely successful, creating a calming refuge in the busy and newly refurbished Old Geelong Road shopping centre.
The menu is almost perfect, with plenty of healthy options and a range of traditional brunch favourites with an M+H twist. The chilli scrambled eggs with bacon, mint and coriander were very popular during our visit, and the lemon and poppyseed pancakes looked delicious (yes, that blonde lady staring at your food was probably me!).
If you haven’t visited Morris + Heath yet, it is definitely worth it. The decor, food and coffee are up there with the area’s best, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Morris + Heath is setting the bar high in the outer-West cafe stakes and we can’t wait to go back.
Our new Sunday regular! Incredible coffee and incredible food! I had the ricotta and poppyseed pancakes and my partner had the chilli scrambled eggs! Absolutely delish!
Delivering a café dining experience that would make it a star in inner Melbourne, Morris + Heath offers great freshly cooked food at a very reasonable price. The pan-seared salmon was a knockout dish, and the poached chicken super salad was also excellent.
Joint looks great. Has nice vibe and staff are lovely. Food was superb but the coffee is nasty, and ive been a couple times and coffee standard hasnt improved.
I never thought I'd say this but hands down the BEST smashed avo I've had! And I've had ALOT of smashed avos! Coffee is also fantastic. I had the magic and it was on point 👌. Love that the owners have opened a place like this in Hoppers! We need it!
As residents of Point Cook, but total lovers of a good breakfast, we were very impressed with Morris + Heath. The staff were all attentive and really friendly, the coffee was perfect and really well made. We had the breakfast plate and the ricotta hotcakes and the service was timely and the food excellently presented and absolutely delicious, with really fresh ingredients, beautiful colour and a real mix of offering. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing new cafe. I'm not normally into shopping centre based cafes but this one is right on trend. Sequence of service was spot on and the waiter was confident in her job. Spacing between tables is frustrating, as I did feel waiters were very close as they passed by. Food looked amazing and the taste matched. The portion size of the toast was a little small. I didn't really like the egg being served seperate however. My coffee was good although the milk was airy rather than creamy. I would defiantly come back and hope my students will also give it a try. Hi guys 😜
The staff here are so friendly. The beats were on point too! I had the cold filtered coffee, this was good, but nothing like an Axil batch brew or cold drip. That's what lost the half point.
The chilli scrambled eggs were perfect! Fluffy scram melted my mouth and the fusion of chilli added that extra flavour flav. Great for a local spot, will be back again. Morris and Heath a local weapon unsheathed!
Don't pay attention to the lower rating of this cafe, I can't understand why it isn't higher. I had a really great breakfast here this morning, the coffee was good and the staff were very friendly. It's great to see more quality cafes popping up in the area, and this is really on par with some of melbournes finest.
This is definitely the best cafe West Side and in the top tear of cafes I've been to in all of Melbourne. Awesome coffee, food and service.
Yep, my new fav local! I was sleep deprived and delirious when I stumbled across this gem! I smelt the coffee immediately and forgot all about the shopping I needed and got an amazing strong, full bodied and smooth coffee. The next day, after a shower, I had the greatest scrambled eggs I've ever eaten. I used to travel to yarraville to have my chilli scrambled eggs but now this will be my new fav place! My husband had the southern fried chicken which was incredible! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing!
What a great addition to our suburb! The coffee was great. The service was quick and the staff was very welcoming. Will definitely be a regular here.
Second review, okay so I went there for breakfast today and I was pretty impressed. With everything. The service was great, the food was delicious and the presentation impeccable!
Off to an impressive start. Great service was immediately evident with warm greeting. Even warmer and delish almond crossiant and friand. Coffee was spot on. Menu full of crowd pleasers and looks on point- shall try that at a later time. A welcome addition to the West. Update: came here for lunch. The chicken burger was splendid. The salmon was okay, with the fish being slightly overcooked and rocket leaves a bit tired. Avocado and goat cheese mix along with potato cubes saved the dish.
Update: went back to M$H and it seems it's buzzing. Small kinks has been ironed and service was on point. Keep it up.
We came here on the weekend and first impression was great. The staff that waited on us were really lovely. The cafe was presented really nice & we all thoroughly enjoyed the food! We've been visiting another cafe lots on weekends just a minutes away, so now will have a pretty good choice out of both. My breakfast board was delicious- everything I love all together, will look forward to another one of them : ) will also look forward to them getting there high chair delivery later in the week.
Update: Have since been back a few times now, have dined in & had takeaway and each time has been great. Staff are always courteous and food all delicious. My fav is still the breakfast board & prana chai. But tried their smoothie bowl which was beautiful!! Love there croissants & bottled ice-coffee.
