Best place to buy traditional Indian sweets.
Its better to ring them and place your order to avoid disappointmnts.
I just love the mithai from this shop😊
So far the best samosas and jalebi had in melbourne. Thumbs up
awesome Indian Sweets .... may have to wait sometimes but u got to understand that staffs are under pressure when its busy....... worth the wait .....
Can I say thankyou, for making the best samosas and milkcake, i’ve ever had. We both love samosas, and everytime it rains or is really cold, we crave, Sweet India’s samosa. Perfect flavour, crunchy on the outside and just delicious.
I don’t know why but i am craving for Sweet India’s sweets every single week. I can’t get enough of their (i am sorry in advance if i didnt get the names right but it sounds like...) moothichor ladoo and kaju barfi. Sweet India makes the best Indian desserts in the whole Victoria. Even way better than the sweets my friend gave me straight from India. I am not Indian but this place’ creations are beyond amazing. High standard, great quality and perfectly formed and cut every piece. The people who are making these sweets are masters of their field. Amazing!!! I am very, very impressed.
This place was recommended by many of my friends for the taste and quality of food.
Finally visited this place last week. The queue there was lengthy but service was pretty quick so my turn came within five minutes though there were almost ten people ahead of me.
Ordered moti laddu, Badam milk and samosa. Both were awesome. The sweets were so fresh and literally melting in the mouth😊
Really recommend this place 👍👍
No doubt. They have variety, quality, service and fair price. They samosas are great, easy them hot and fresh. Yes they run out of samosas quickly. You can't blame them for the demand and the fact they lose money on samosas to attract customers. This is my go to place for sweets in Melbourne.
Excellent service and the sweets are beautifully made. Food tasted like traditional homestyle cooking. The Samosas are yummy too. Big thumbs up.
A taste of home far away from home! The moti choor ladoos and the samosas are amazing. Made with ghee they are very rich in taste. Definitely should visit this place for their sweets and samosas. However they really need to work on the customer service, they are very slow and maybe tidy up the place?
Mostly a hit and once a miss! This place serves the best possible Samosa's through out Melbourne. Best to call up and place an order as at times it can take a while. The dhokla was once off and we ordered 2 boxes. However, the quality of sweets is generally very good. A delight for indian sweet lovers and do not forget the samosa.
Super amazing jalebis and sweets. If you are a fan of Indian sweets this is your place. It is very crowded which is a good sign. Everything is super fresh.
Samosa and Garam jelibi are must to eat during the visit . Customer service is not good but it's worth if you are fan of Indian snacks and sweets
Best Indians sweets in town. We all know that there are few aspects involved for a sweet to be perfect. First is a good chef, second is quality of ingredients and third is the freshness of the sweet itself. I reckon all three things are very well taken care of at Sweet India. Pick any sweet it tastes perfect and fresh, may it be the famous "Moti Choor Laddu" or "Kaju Pista Roll" to name a couple and Gulab Jamoon simply melts away in the mouth.
Besides sweets they cater savoury items as well and Samosa’s are of knock out taste. When one of my mates took me to Sweet India for the first time and I had the couple of Samosa's, the taste took me back to India with so many emotions and memories coming back, it was literally a knock out taste. To get further into detail the sweet tamarind chutney provided with Samosa's is perfect as well.
Customer service seems have improved, as I did not face any difficulty as many other mentioned.
It's simply best!!! They know what they are doing and good at ... always consistent in taste... Haven't had better motichoor ladoo and milkcake anywhere else ... Not even in India ...
Very authentic Indian sweets in the west side. Each dessert in the window entraps India into it. My favourite to try are Rasmalai for desert. Their samosas are also one to try for.
Absolutely great experience! We ate here on our way to Ballarat and the food was so delicious. The samosas and all the sweets were absolutely delicious. Great service too.
Really liked the place, food and location. Starters were good but main course was decent. Very good service
Will visit again to try other dish
They got the best Jalebi in Melbourne, Crispy and served warm. Liked their Ras malai too( moderately sweetened),Overall had a good experience. Staff needs to be more responsive and may need to learn better customer skills but they aren't bad, just kinda lackadaisical i woiuld say.
Great Indian sweet shop with fabulous variety of sweets and snacks options. Visit early morning to taste hot and fresh Samosas. Jalebi is so delicious and must try 😋 All the food items in the picture below cost me total of $16! Happy me 😃
