A bit on the more expensive side but the food quality was pretty good- although I'm questioning why there were grapes. Still might come back to try other things. The seared tuna salad was good and would recommend.
Disappointed recently with the food. Used to be freshly made salads but now they’re smaller/cheaper & not as nice & have less salmon. Everything is pre-made & for takeaway only. I hope they’ll return to their original restaurant once they recover from covid.
Bloody fantastic sushi. Made fresh upon arrival and always delivers the satisfaction needed for 9:30 tafe smoko.

The best Japanese restaurant in Hornsby. Excellent food, reasonable pricing. Licensed venue so you can enjoy beer or sake with your meal. Staff are super polite and the entire staff greet you and say goodbye, which is a nice touch. Have eaten there many times over the years and will return.
Really hard to find great food in Hornsby so pleasantly surprised by the food at Soto. Great atmosphere with open kitchen. Service was amazing without being pretentious. Food was absolutely fabulous. The food was amazing but they were run off their feet so the service suffered. But did I mention the food was amazing. Possibly the best sushi I’ve had ever.
We really like the place, the coziness, the food and the sweet vibe of the restaurant. We love the food, except for one instance where I ordered a Katsu Curry Set, sauce was delicious, portion was magnificent, however the schnitzel used was a little burnt! But of course, I should've told them. But
