So disappointing! We use to love coming here but since new ownership the food has been of a very low standard. we ordered Tom Yum soup - it was super oily and they had bulked it up with tinned baby corn and carrots. The Sizzling Lamb was tasteless.
This was our first time to Absolute Thai on William Street and we enjoyed it.
Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed it was a lot bigger than we expected, with cute triangular Thai cushions as a seating option along the windows. Plenty of natural light filled the restaurant.

Pad Thai lunch special. Gluggy sweet Pad Thai with chicken. The worst Pad Thai we’ve had. Noodles cut into small 5 cm long strips stuck together with cloying gluggy sweet sauce. No authentic Thai favours on this dish. The lunch special bundle included a can of soft drink. This was only served from
Arrive to read sign on door, BYO only no alcohol sales. Food was good. Place became rather busy from 7pm Saturday. Design means it is a noisy place. Staff missed few orders, bit of confusion.
Bought takeaway. Solid food at an affordable price.
