Love the atmosphere and cute cafe!! Food and coffee is also standard! I really like how they decorated the cafe with little things. It has really nice local cafe vibes.
Went in a big group for a lazy Sunday breakfast and the place did not disappoint. The ambience is pretty eclectic. The only drawback was they don't have baby chairs so the little one had to be put in his harness.
The service was good and efficient and the staff were attentive. The food is a little overpriced but the quality is good. We ordered
chocolate muffin: good
Banana bread for the LO: thumbs up from him
Vanilla milkshake : a little watered down
Veggie burgers: got rave reviews
Breakfast pancakes: tasty but the portion was really small
Waffle with ice cream: this was the highlight and after having a taste the others ordered it too
Coffee: decent
Overall enjoyed the breakfast and may visit again to try the other items.
Bees Knees Vintage Coffee is one of the best coffee shops we have been to. It is our favourite place to go for coffee and a bite to eat. The coffee is amazing and the coffee art will blow your mind! The food is fresh and Always delicious. And we cannot forget to mention the amazing staff, they are friendly, efficient and always make our visits memorable!! Would recommend Bees Knees any day!!!!
What a lovely surprise. Honestly did not expect much at all for whatever reason, but the food was simple done well. This Korean-run café has interesting interior design choices, and also a back courtyard for outdoor seating. However, it does seem this back section is somewhat neglected as there were dead cockroaches lying around…
Anyway, the green tea latte was pretty good and not typically sweet so that was a plus. Comes out in a relatively good sized mug with cute latte art. The salad sandwich was very tasty also. Yes, it is just a sandwich but it was a good mix of fresh ingredients that made a delicious combo. Was only after a light meal and this did the trick.
Placed near hornsby station, easy to access, lots of parking spaces near the cafe. Interior is really antique and food is on point :) welcomed by friendly staffs :) nice place to go!
Located on a quiet street, this is a lovely little local gem with sunny outdoor seating. The wholemeal pancakes were delicious and the coffees great!
Not bad overall. Interior is eclectic. The breakfast pancakes are an interesting take on breakfast and very flavorful. Eggs were good for the kids. Milkshake was however not my style - was more icecream flavored milk.
Sir And Mlady Dine Out
+3.5
This place is like stepping back in time almost. It has a 1970's retro feel to it - making you think that you're on set for That 70's Show. Kelso will walk out any second and so will Red. It's quaint, cute and memorable here. They also have an all day breakfast menu too. Most of their seating is indoors, but that's where all the retro stuff is anyway.
You order and pay at the counter. The menu is on black board and whilst the selection is small, it all sounds tasty. A few items are suitable for breakfast and lunch, but most items are more for morning or afternoon tea. I was tempted to order Mr Itch a Pumpkin Milkshake as a bit of a joke, but saw that he was still grimacing so thought better of it.
Always enjoy visiting this tucked away cafe. Fresh cafe food and friendly service. Very eclectic mix of furnishings and crockery.
Love the atmosphere :). Calm atmosphere and vintage look of the cafe was really enjoyable. Foods are great and not expensive as well! People who work there warmly welcomed us! Good service
Very interesting place in hornsby..you should visit there. good coffee. friendly welcome.
Fantastic coffee, great service!
Cute cosy cafe. Coming into Bee's Knees is like going to an old friend's place for afternoon tea. There are mismatched couches with plenty of comfy cushions, lots of magazines to idly flick through, and the coffee is not bad at all. The owners have put a lot of effort into creating a warm environment with an interesting display of vintage pieces for sale
Best Coffee In Hornsby!. Possibly the best coffee in Hornsby. Great scones too! Awesome friendly staff and quirky, ever changing vintage displays.
We found a good cafe with great mocha after hiking. Bee’s Knee Vintage Cafe in Hornsby. The latte art still remain as it was even at the bottom of the cup and that’s the good coffee!! ☕️ 😄❤️❤️ I have not had pancake in cafe for ages and this time it was worth it to try. So delicious. If you have a chance to visit Hornsby, this cafe is a recommend.
The refinery was closed so we went to bee knees cafe and it was surprising decent.
Coffee was great and I got some turkish bread toast with vegemite and butter. Both for $8 aud.
I loved how they didn't spread it for me since most cafe staff do not get it right.
My friends had bacon and egg dishes and they all looked very appetizing.
A little on the pricey end for cooked food but worth lounging around for a coffee as they have a great range of pablo and rustys.
It's very dark inside and so I suggest some seating out back in their backyard. Very quiet and dimly lit. Seems peaceful. Could be your thing.
Hidden Gem in Hornsby. This cafe is like your comfy favourite sneakers. Just go there and it will make sense! Best coffee and the cute latte art is a super bonus. Nick did me a Hello Kitty! Thanks.
Bees Knees has an informal and relaxed feel, which is something I look for in a cafe. The food was simple and tasty, the coffees were great, and the prices were more than reasonable! I have recommended this cafe to friends
Fantastic Coffee and it's a good place to be for brunch. This place is very comfortable and always a few things that you can look at, especially the rustic design on the backyard dinning area.
Super cozy place with cute & charming decor. There are outdoor seatings at both front and back. Offering all day breakfast menu that is not disappointing at all. The breakfast pancake, in particular, is really tasty. The coffee is also great. Fantastic place to have breakfast/lunch with friends or family. Cash only though, but there's a westpac atm next to the cafe.
A delightful, quiet and quaint coffee shop with great atmosphere and service. A great spot to relax and chat with a friend or to read a magazine. I loved their flat white coffee.
