Review Sanbao Kitchen - Hornsby

Not quite sure what the fuss is about, but this place is middle of the road and no better. Service is really good and the staff are helpful. Ambience non-existent. Value for money adequate. Yang zhao fried rice - avoid. Dumplings and Co, New Shanghai, Chinatown Noodles all have much better fare Cumin beef - this was the best of the lot Pork belly - decent Would probably not visit again

Authentic, tasty food. Reminds me of mum's cooking. Seating isn't fantastic and doesn't feel super clean, but I promise you the food is worth it. They do deliver via menulog if you're uncomfortable, but definitely worth a try. I gave enjoyed every dish I've tried and their menu is so huge I have to keep coming back!

Awesome food! Great service! First time here and definitely won't be the last. Even the rice tasted amazing! Can't wait to get back there and try more items from their menu. Very reasonably priced too, which is another plus. Can highly recommend this for great Chinese food!

Very authentic Chinese noodle, fired rice and “quick wok fire” shop. Dumpling is juicy and fresh, the Sour Cabbage fish rice noodle soup is yummy, the bun is soft as well. Price to quality is above standard for sure, services were surprisingly great for a small Chinese restaurant. Hard working smiling people, what else can make your day other than good food?

Chinese food here taste really authentic with good portion and plenty of varieties. Staffs are very friendly regardless how busy they are. Prices are very reasonable as well where noodles, rice set and fried rice start from $10 each. My family like their food so much that we keep going back at least once a week!

This is the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been in past ten years in Sydney. This is not Chinese food, chef is unprofessional even i am not sure there is a chef or not. no service, staffs were quarreling loudly in the kitchen. dirty and smelly dining experience.

I recommend sanbao for a real Chinese experience! Eddie and the crew will go out of their way to make you happy with their good service. Try the pork prawn dumplings or gongbao chicken! Update: yesterday Eddie recommended me “spicy Griddle Cauliflower with pork belly” 🌶🌶 and it was GLORIOUS! Cauliflower can be a bit dull but they mastered the seasoning and served on a portable stove and it’s amazing. Looking forward to going back next week to have it again!

The food and the portion is average , but the price is reasonable , some special offer if you spend more than $40, waiting time a bit long, around 3.5 /5 Star

My go to chinese take out! Congee is always generous on the century egg and love their dumplings. Standard service and well priced. It is what it is, nothing super amazing but definitly better than average

Perhaps it is the only restaurant that opens at 7pm on Sunday in Hornsby. And it just provides some basic Chinese food. Most of the people are here for a quick dinner. Simple surroundings, small restaurant.

Rice is just enough for one person. Fried chicken wings are over-fried so with a bad taste. Buns are cheap, but not delicious as well.

Excellent food.
It's home cooked north chinese crossed with a well trained hotel restaurant chef. Great textures.
Everything can be taylored to order. Tell him how you like it :).
