Great little restaurant with a warm inviting atmosphere. Have been for dinner and just coffee. The entree and mains were full of flavour and delicious. Great on a warm summers night to sit outside. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food
Good little place tucked away in a quiet street in hunters hill. We had breakfast this morning:- smashed avocado - good food. The flavours were all there and the salmon was lovely too. Poached eggs on toast with a side of hash brown. Eggs were good well but the toast, slightly burnt and small 1 slice cut into half. Just another slice would be perfect and less toasted. The coffees were good. Nice place, no pretence, attentive and friendly staff. Will visit again.
This is a nice little hidden gem in the middle of Hunters Hill. My partner and I love Italian food so we wanted to give this a try. We had the day's special, capaccio as a starter, home made gnocchi and pappardelle. The capaccio was very nice and thin - just a little on the salty side though. My partner liked the gnocchi but I'm not a fan of gnocchi so I didn't try any. But I really loved the pappardelle I ordered, she had a taste and thought it was great as well. To end the night, we had some coffee and relaxed in the nice vintage and cottage setting. Recommended for a date night!
After hours of relaxing we soon got hungry, quickly rushed to the car and spotted this cute tucked away Italian café and restaurant called ‘Ottimo Italian Kitchen’. As soon as we were seated we already knew that it would be a superb dinning experience. The atmosphere was splendid as we were situated in a courtyard that was peaceful with soft Italian music surrounding us. It was my kind of place to go, as the number one thing I absolutely cannot stand when eating out is too much
Went for dinner with boyfriend, we had a 25% off deal from the entertainment book. It was excellent value! The food and service were good.
My favourite!. I have been to Ottimo on multiple occasions now - a wonderful restaurant with friendly, hardworking and attentive staff! If you are looking for pure, genuine, home cooked Italian food, don't waste your time looking further than Ottimo! The food is incredible, I can't stress that enough. From the starters to the deserts and everything in between, you will not be disappointed.
I have dined in many Italian restaurants around Sydney and the world, nothing has yet compared to both the food and service offered to customers at Ottimo. They bend over backwards to tend to your needs and ensure you are catered for. A true, old fashioned, classy and tasteful dining experience. Thank god theres still one restaurant (Ottimo) like this left in Sydney!

Very Special. Probably eight visits in the last twelve months. Never a bad meal. Classy surroundings, food and menu is superb, as is the service.
Whether you feel like a quiet dinner or a fun night out with some good friends, Ottimo is hard to beat. Feels just that little bit special, without the extortionate price tag that many restaurants now seem to carry.
