I'm so glad we found Balila! The food is authentic, super tasty and fresh (their tabouli is amazing... actually everything is amazing!), and the staff are lovely. We won't be travelling to the other side of Melbourne anymore, as now we have Balila with the best Lebanese food at our doorstep! Definitely our new favourite 💯
Delicious! Lovely staff, we drive 1.5 hour round trip to eat here
Such a good place with a great menu to cater for all! Owners are very friendly, and serving sizes are generous. Will be back for sure!
The lamb shanks are to die for. My son swears by the vegan chicken wrap. Lastly, the couple who run the place are so polite and considerate. We always are given a little “extra”
OMG the vegan wrap is AMAZING! And the tabouli is so fresh and yummy can’t recommend enough
Best chicken wrap in the area! Lovely homemade food. The baklava was fantastic too! This place is run by a family and is highly recommended.
I loved the fact that they had SO many vegan options and the vegan chick’n wrap is die hard AMAZING 🔥🔥🔥 will definately order from there again! really delicious authentic lebanese food 🌞
This place has an amazing vibe. The place is famous for its shawarma but the sheer passion with which they make their food takes the experience to another level. Have tried out their batada, shwarma and baklava....everything was too yummylicios....loved it..must visit.😊
Really high quality Lebanese food with everything made from scratch. I’m vegan and there are lots of delicious options. Can not recommend highly enough.
An absolute gem of an eatery. Great food fresh and tasty. You can feel and smell the love that has gone into preparing every dish. Homemade food at its best presented beautifully. Highly recommended. Attentive, polite and friendly service. More than value for the money, you need to experience it for yourself.
Lots of great vegan options. I’ve tried most of the vegan options on the menu and falafels are definitely my fave. The falafels are some of the best I’ve had. Their wraps are super filling and a great price. The garlic dip is so intense and so delicious, must have with the chips. However, they do take a while to make the food since it’s just a small shop, so make sure you order ahead!
It's not a bad restaurant. Service was nice and surprisingly their serving size is generous.
Though I found a strange sour/lemonish taste in all of their dishes we ordered. Maybe it's just their recipe but I never experienced it in Arabic cuisne before.
Overall, I would recommend to my friends and Families.
If you’re a hungry vegan looking for something delicious to warm your soul, look no further!
You have more options to choose from than you could dream of and everything is absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are generous and prices are fair. Will 100% be back for more baklava 🖤
Very friendly staff in a small, family-owned Lebanese restaurant. Unfortunately, there really isn't much of an atmosphere, with bare tables and plastic chairs, but the hospitality and food quality makes up for it.
We ordered a shawarma plate and a skewer plate to share. There was plenty of food and it was really delicious. I think the best item was the beef skewer, the meat was so moist and tender.
The restaurant is very popular, with plenty of customers arriving to pick up take aways. The wraps that were being made looked amazing and we will certainly be back to order some shawarma wraps to take away.
Amazing food. Great quality meat. Well prepared.
Delicious Lebanese middle eastern vegan platter at Balila Cafe 🌱
That place is amazing and there food it the best food i have ever had, They have the best staff and they always smile to every customer that walks in. The Kafta is perfect and the Lamb and Chicken have so much flavour and there is always juice in the meat and they always make the food fresh and it's always at the best temperature. Also they make the best chips.
