For sweets, I picked a ‘Jam Doughnut ($2.00)’. The doughnut was fresh and full of jam. My dining companion went for a ‘Cheesecake Tart ($3.50)’. Cheesecake and tart combined? What a great invention!

Really Enjoyed!. Me and the family past by this place today, picked up a few things for lunch. The meat pie was a soft pastry bake and was fantastic, as was the cold pizza slice. The jam donut and custard tart (that had a remarkably soft custard centre) were utterly delicious, both of them tasted like they were home made and not brought from a supermarket.

Defiently don't let the medicore score for this place deter you, have a look if you're up for a few quick bakery items for lunch!

Homer would love this place........... Hey this is an old-fashioned place with old-style cakes, attentive staff and good coffee.

They even offer a free donut with your coffee. I don't eat them myself ( my brother happily ate two though) but its a really nice thought though.

Drop by if you're in Hurstbridge, driving or cycling by.

Great selection. Many different types of bread available. Lots of cakes and pastries. Tried a donut and carrot cake. Fresh and delicious. Busy but service was great.

Such a lovely bakery! We stopped for a refreshment break on our bike ride while going through Hurstbridge. Our entire group was very impressed. They got a good variety to choose from. Whether it be sweets, donuts or hot pastries. They even make fresh sandwich with ingredients of choice. And their product pricing is stunning! Don't miss their free donut with regular coffee ☕ such a great deal. Cannot miss to say that the Staff are very Friendly.

So delicious, I’m a local and have been going here as long as I can remember, can’t help but stop each time I drive past. Raspberry and white chocolate muffins are a personal favourite as well as the pie and donut selection.

On a cold, wet and windy Sunday afternoon we needed a pie. These were good. Nice, ample fillings. Well sealed. Good temperature. So good that we had to get a couple more to take home with us!

We have visited this place several times. Old fashioned taste, fair prices, great coffee with a free cinnamon doughnut which is exactly right with the coffee. We’ve had pepper steak, steak n mushroom and salmon mornay pies recently- all very good. Dutch sourdough large loaf was $3.50 today. Opposite Hurtsbridge station.

One of the better bakeries I've been to this year. I got the standard meat pie, pastie and vanilla slice. Pastry was on point, top being crispy and flaky, bottom being not soggy or soft and holding shape like a bowl. Flavour of both savouries were perfect, the pie had a nice balance that you could forego tomato sauce. The meat and veg pastie was the same, with a good spice mix, good variety of veg and flaky pastry. The vanilla slice ranks fairly high on my snot block list at the moment, up there with Whittlesea Bakery. Pastry was excellent, custard was tasty with a good texture. No lumps, and doesn't resemble jelly. Will be hard for me not to stop whenever I drive past now!
