Love the coffee and hot chocolate. The burgers and fries are good too. Waffles for dessert was yummy and looked amazing. Would recommend and come back.
I dined with my friends for lunch here and it was amazing from the soft bread to the ingredients of the burger I ordered. Since you can choose a side of fries or sweet potato fries I decided to do half/half expecting to pay 50c (since having sweet potato fries is an extra $1) but I had to pay an extra $1 which was fine. Service was quick and friendly but I think I should’ve been given a larger quantity of fries for the price I payed ($19) since other places which sell burgers have been much better and much cheaper.
The waffles were able to satisfy my dessert cravings and were very beautiful in presentation, although taste was pretty average and slightly too sweet. Atmopshere was relaxing and enjoyable.
I got a vegan nourish bowl from here from Ubereats and it was amazing!! It had such a good range of foods in it, the sweet potato and has hash browns in it tasted amazing. You NEED to try this.
The food was really good and there nothing wrong with it and the service there was impeccable the staff were very nice and friendly. I would recommend it and would come again
First time coming here I was not disappointed, the staff were friendly but the food took over 30mins to arrive as it was during peak hour for the cafe, quieter times the food comes faster. Orders the smashed avocado and the presentation was amazing along with the servings, same goes with the Portuguese chicken bowl that my partner loves. Would recommend coming at quieter times but will not be disappointed about the food. French toast was sweet with the lovely presentation

I'm impressed with the new menu. The presentation of the food was amazing. I enjoyed the vegan bowl so much, I ordered it again the next time I visited the Shed. My only complaint is the food is on the pricer side for cafes with dishes around $20.
This cafe is situated at the rooftop dining area of Hurstville Westfield. We got there on a Sunday afternoon and it was super busy as expected. However the wait staff were super attentive and quickly found us a seat and took our orders. Food didn’t take too long to come out and it was all fantastic. My twisted avocado dish had so many components that worked so well together and the tandoori sauce on the grilled haloumi pizza tied up all the ingredients. Amazing food with service!
Went there the other day food, location and service were very good. If you are around that area i would highly recommend to visit this place. CHEERS.
I was conflicted on coming here due to some reviews I read, but I caved in since it’s so hard to find a decent brunch place in Hurstville. The food is nice! The wait was a little long since it was busy but my friend and I both enjoyed our food. It was a nice day to be seated outdoors, and the wait staff were very friendly. I’d give this place a shot, I don’t normally review places but I thought i’d balance out the perspectives here 😝
Located on the rooftop dining in Westfield Hurstville, the ambience was the first thing that caught my eye.
They were strategically located next to the kids playground that was surrounded with the beautiful greenery. Their decor was also cozy and gave a relaxing atmosphere.
They have two main separate seating area and we chose the one near the small garden at the back.
Now, let’s talk about the food and the drink.
Coffee was great and the latte art was on point.
I also enjoyed their homemade lemonade. Fresh and a bit tangy.
As for the food, I tried The Shed French Toast, Wagyu Burger and Spaghetti Arrabiata.
Every dish was delicious and plated beautifully (especially the French Toast, really had a wow factor).
The pasta was cooked al dente and had great flavours overall. Portion was also quite generous.
I didn’t put high expectations for the burger to be honest, as they are not a burger specialty venue. But it was so good! Simple, clean and bang on. The fries also didn’t disappoint.
My favourite dish had to be the French Toast. Totally insta-worthy and fun to eat!
Overall, I had an awesome dining experience there.
New management doing a very good job.. good frendly environment. Great food.. yummmm.everyone should try ..it’s a great place for going out with family..
New menu and new management!
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff was beyond friendly. We will be coming back in the future!

Visited this establishment with my wife for a Saturday midday dessert :-) (cheat day).
The establishment was very busy which was great cause it shows the quality of their meals.
The atmosphere was great especially that it is rooftop dining. It was well designed with great ambiance and furniture.
NOW THE FOOD, we only had dessert and the desert was delicious. Three waffles with nutella and strawberries and cotton candy. Need I say more? Delicious and fresh.
Staff were very friendly and knew the menu well.
Definitely going back again to try the other meals.

New owner chef Zilany has taken over mid July 2018 and the food is delicious. Beautifully presented and tastes as good as it looks!! Great new barista as well.
The Hurstville Westfield rooftop dining precinct offers something different to your usual shopping centre food outlet experience. The Shed Cafe is one of a number of dining venues, and surrounded by greenery (even if the hanging vines are fake) offers a relaxing place to meet and eat. On this particular sweltering Sydney day, the sparkling peach tea on tap went down well.
Great coffee and excellent brunch menu, definately add Hallumoi to anything, Perfect weather breakkie. Service was good too. Have been back a couple of times.
This place is decorated nicely and was quite cosy. Ordered the two sliders (bacon and chorizo) that came with a coffee. The sliders were pleasant to eat and the egg was cooked well. However, the coffee (long black) was a let down.
The newly opened rooftop dining, the shed had an extensive dinner menu. Great open atmosphere. Love the water bottle beakers! Friendly atmosphere
The newly opened rooftop dining, the shed had an extensive dinner menu. Great open atmosphere. Juice was yum. Salad was average as duck salad but only 3 pieces or so. Love the water bottle beakers!
The Shed is an amazing cafe to go to when you feel you need a good gourmet burger!
Last time going there I ordered the The Shed Burger on Brioche
- Beef, onion jam, tomato, cheese, lettuce and aioli with their sweet potato chips. The beef patty was juicy and flavoursome - with the brioche bun and the fillings it was simply amazing! Their sweet potato chips was divine and delicious.
Its a bit pricey though so I would recommend this place for occasional visits.
I would happily go back there and try something different!
A really nice place. I like their burger and chips as well as their ambience. A good place for breakfast and brunch. I ordered granola.
We've come here multiple times and the food here is pretty decent. On both occasions we had the baguettes, one of them being the vegetable baguette ($13.9). The baguettes are quite nice and they come with sweet potato fries - which are the best we've had in along time. Also had The Shed juice($5.9) which was really nice and refreshing.
Refreshing!
The food at The Shed, Hurstville is surprisingly not too bad. Moreover, it's a place that does pizza and coffee in the evening, which is always a good thing. The prices can be a bit dear but the portions are fair for the prices.
Service on the whole is good, too.
On balance, we would happily return to The Shed to try out more of its offerings and would recommend it to our friends.
Highly recommended place for familiy dining. Enjoy your food as the kids run around in the play area.
Lovely ambience, excellent service, mouth watering food.
Love their fresh "the shed" juice and tasty pasta (pink pollo). The kids will enjoy the kids meal, pizza and fresh juice. Large serving, reasonably priced. Will be back again and again.

Good food and really liked the ambience. We were there for lunch on a Sunday. Was quite busy luckily the service was quick. Had the vegetarian pasta with extra mushrooms and the vege burger.
Both of the dishes had a good portion sizes as well tasted quite good. Had a fresh juice along with lunch can't remember which one now. It was fresh and refreshing on a hot day.
Happy to go back and try more from the menu.
Dropped in to have some dinner with the kids, prior to watching a movie.
Ordering was a breeze (they had a wide variety of options to choose from).
Pricing was getting up there a little but it was manageable for my finances.
I didn’t have to wait to long for my steak sandwich. It was delicious and it came with a large serving of French fries.
You can tell I was hungry by the fact I forget to take a pic of my meal lol.
All-in-all, it was a good dining experience.
Enjoyed the outdoor setting area
Loved the food and coffee
Service was great and staff are friendly ;)
Overall a great experience
Recommend the shed hurstville 💚💚

Really tasty food in a rooftop setting. Every item on the menu has a Mediterranean style to it and with options for breakfast, brunch or lunch there's something for everyone. The sweet potato fritter is a must try!
