I went there with my sister for dinner and we ordered Tom Yum Prawn curry which I asked the lady to make it super hot. It was super hot and I couldn't eat it at all! The lady was considerate enough to change my super spicy soup! Good service! And I really loved the Prawn Fried Rice. I"ll be back for sure!

I’m a huge fan of duck, with that strong tasty flavour. It’s one of my favourite meats. Only down side is all those bones, but if you’re in the mood,it’s well worth it for a tasty reward.
I found a great “Duck with Plum Sauce” dish conveniently located right up the road from me @thaithaehurstville
A roasted half duck served with plum sauce spiced with garlic, cinnamon and steamed Chinese broccoli.
The mix of flavours was outstanding. The sauce so delicious and sweet with a lovely fresh hit of Chinese broccoli.
The duck was cooked perfectly with nice plump, juicy pieces that weren’t overly boney.
A really great dish!
Have to unfortunately give a thumbs down to “Garlic & Pepper Lamb Cutlets” which were grilled marinated lamb cutlets, garlic, cloves, seasame oil and pepper... the flavours were not for me.

Menu was what you would expect from a no-frill Thai restaurant with entrees, curry, noodle, stir-fry and a Chef’s Recommendation section. At only $8.9 the Satay Chicken came in four decent sized skewers and the poultry was very well seasoned even without the dipping sauce. All entrées were under $10, including our second one Peking Duck Pancakes ($8.9/4pcs). Inside the pancake we found roast duck, cucumber and shallots, and a sweet sauce. It was a teaser and we found ourselves crave for more duck meat.
Delicious thai restaurant in the heart of Hurstville. The restaurant is about 5 minutes walk from the station. Come here during lunch time for their lunch specials.

Their calamari and mocktails (lychee) specifically were the highlight of my meal. The calamari were so crispy, full of flavour and the lychee mocktail was very refreshing!
Enjoying my weekend at this restaurant and I think I should be back again next time😆 my favourite food is Deep Fried Barramundi, soooo crispy and big!! and the sauce is great, tasty! Love the papaya salad as well!

Had my dinner here today and it was amazing. The service was really quick. Their duck with plum sauce and the calamari entree are definitely a must try. Probably one of the best Thai restaurant here in Sydney
Thai Thae is a Thai restaurant located near the bus stops of Hurstville. It has a great modern atmosphere and well presented food that still maintains a casual charm.
I had an opportunity to try the lovely Thai dishes here.
Their winner is the fried barramundi and the roast duck.
My boyfriend gobbled up everything and I drank all the Thai milk tea
Thai is my absolute favourite and this is sure to be a local favourite!
Must try the Kaeng Phed Ped Yang, this dish brings the best out of all its ingredients. Massamum lamb cutlets were good, cutlets are marinated and cooked well, flavorful experience. Tom yum was good but we had it with prawns, probably better with chicken (spicy, be careful). Taro balls dessert was not to our taste, creamy but the balls were too gooey, would prefer chewy balls. No pictures sorry was too hungry.
Thai Thae got me weak at the knees... food here is beyond comparison!
Grilled Marinated Honey Pork came with a sweet, sticky sauce which was heavenly and pork was very tender. Kaeng Phed Ped Yang was rich and creamy with the perfect amount of heat. Duck was juicy and paired perfectly with the fresh pineapple and lychees. Yum Woo Sen was tangy, seafood was spot on and heat built up nicely. Peanut sauce with the Deep Fried Tofu was bursting with flavour but more seasoning in the coating was needed. Black Sticky Rice was cooked well in the pudding, coconut needed to be thicker and stronger.

Arrived just after 6pm on a Saturday night. Even at that stage there were not alot if spare tables available.
As its our first time we order pretty standard fare to see how they handle the basics.
We started with a serve of Fish Cakes, then a Green Curry Chicken and Spicy Pork Pad Thai.
The Fish Cakes were very tasty, but the green curry was just ok. It seemed that the flavours in the curry were very very mild and were not bold in flavour at all.
Now the Spicy Pork Pad Thai was a different story. Full of flavour and lots of crunchy bite size pieces of pork belly.
Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Thai Thae is only a short walk away from Hurstville Station which is our preferred travel method i.e. public transport! We were super excited to learn about this authentic Thai restaurant on our train ride home (so we can easily hop off and hop back on). Thai Thae has many specialty dishes like their Duck Larb (which I've never seen before), Roast Duck Curry and Tom Yum Fried Rice!
Hurstville has very few Thai restaurants. This is one of them. Although it is not on forest road, it’s still close to the Hurstville station.
The shop is very big. Unlike normal Thai restaurant which leaves an impression on me that they’re mostly fast food and for take aways, this one is more formal. The ambience is pretty nice. The place is ideal for family dinners.

It’s not only simple curry, but curry soup. The curry is a bit sweet but it’s perfect if you have it with rice.

Only a short 2 min walk from Hurstville station is Thai Thae. A causal thai eatery with a huge kitchen and fully stocked bar. Not your run of the mill thai restaurant, the menu boasts authentic thai with Bangkok street dishes, showcasing a huge menu of with interesting entree additions and also some chefs recommendations for the mains. If you’re coming with a group, they also have a few different banquets.
Most definitely not your average Thai food. If you're looking for a feast this is the place to go! Great drinks, food and atmosphere and plenty of vegan and GF options! Could not fault one thing
This is a great Thai restaurant located only 3 mins from Hurstville station. Menu boasts authentic Thai dishes, showcasing the traditional fares, as well as Chef’s recommendations. The mocktails/cocktails are very decent🍸They also offer banquet menu if you’ve got a large group. Comfortable dining environment with friendly services.

Came as a guest. They have one of my favourite dishes lamb (chop) massamum curry,I love that sauce! We also had garlic and pepper veges and deep fried tofu in peanut sauce. Our fav was the duck larb which looks like SAN Choi bow! So tasty 😋
New and local I love my Thai and ‘Thai Thae’ is all about the authentic dishes. They were absolutely so delicious and I could taste so much flavour. It’s a must try
I've never been to the shop itself before but I ordered their pad thai with duck and crispy pork via Ubereats. It was sensational!!! Would definitely pay the shop a visit one day
I came here by chance. I was hungry and waiting for a frield. I ordered Padthai, quick and easy. Cooked well and smells of thailand. Good portion size of $9.90 their lunch special meal
Tasty Thai in the Hurstville area! My stirfry was loaded with veg and tofu - would definitely head back to this place for Thai! Love the kaeng phed pedyang - duck red curry, so great! Can’t wait to order it again ☺️

Always busy, but great service. I always order beef massaman when it comes to Thai food. Hubby always gets chicken pad Thai. They make both well, and the massaman is super tender and yummy. Parking is pretty crap though.
Fave Thai restaurant in hurstville. We love the Duck Larb, Pork bone soup and stir fry pork belly. Food is really tasty and generous. Good customer service as well. Wish they could have more dessert choices to add in the menu.
This is second time I'm trying out Thai food... and it was actually quite satisfying, great taste, I specially liked duck roasted salad the most. Full of flavor.... 🤤🤤 I did like both fish and stay chicken as well....
But, yeah if you don't like sauce with coconut flavor (pretty much all dishes accompany that flavoured sides and sauce) ask for another hot sauce, they'll happily offer you a sriracha sauce

Love this place, nearby and ambience. ordered chicken salad and roast duck curry. Taste was good. Salad seems to be more leafy and the proportion was not good and is totally different from when we eat before 1 year. Other food tastes good.

Been here twice, food is yummy and decent sizing portions too! Pricing is inexpensive and the waitress’s and chefs are very nice! Cute and cozy restaurant easy to locate.

Thai here is reasonably priced (not so much on the seafood options), but everything else is great.
Quiet location but place can get rather busy.
The rice dishes I do recommend and a thick rich laksa if it floats your boat.
Curries are also good.
