Never disappointed when coming here! Ordered the king croissant and it was huge and so filling but made the mistake of requesting for a poached egg instead of a scrambled which would have made the dish is much creamier. My partner ordered a breakfast wrap (forgot the name) and the portion was a little smaller than we thought it would be, but it tasted great. The iced coffee was also loaded so that was a welcomed surprise. Love the overall atmosphere of the cafe and it will always be a regular customer!
Great food! Excellent service! Not just your regular cafe. This place plays some great music and has amazing vibes. I could sit here all day! It feels like home away from home. And to top that off if you’re a coffee lover, you’ll be surprised how good their coffee tastes.
Ate here few ago months and didn't enjoy the food (found the acai bowl too sweet) however since then, this premises has changed hands and they're pumping out really good dishes and they also do single origin coffee here.
Had:
-big breakfast (really generous portion)
-shaksuka, really enjoyed this. It's got cannelloni beans in it, makes it really smooth and creamy to bite into. It's also got veggies, chorizo and pomegranate seeds in it 💕
-knafeh toast, this feels like eating rainbows and unicorns. It's got a coconut flavour to it.
Great for catching up with friends or family. This is the only cafe I have ever been to which offers 3 types of water, cold, room temperature and sparkling. I've loving this cafe. We need more cafes like this in Hurstville
$13 for the acai bowl was a decent price. It was nice and refreshing, looks small when you get it but definitely enough for 1 serving. The cafe was not busy when i came on a friday. Will be coming back 👍🏼
the cafe sits in a corner in Westfield. not very easy to find. It is spacious and good for friends catch up. I went there for coffee this afternoon. Very good coffee, very friendly staff. a mix of modern and ancient ambience. free sparking water. I may go back for food next time.

Nicely decorated cafe in the midst of Hurstville Westfield! The staff are very friendly - we ordered a Cappucino and when the waitress delivered she noticed it wasn't at all foamy - very flat- and asked if we wanted a new one. Also, on another occasion I left one of my possessions and the staff were very helpful on the phone. Good coffee

From my experience, Common Ground has exceptionally friendly service. The food is good too, as well as the chai latte. The shakshuka makes good cold-weather food for sure
The cafe is very unique with their mismatched chairs. Service was alright but it took a long time for our food to come considering what we ordered. We ordered their acai bowl and toasted muesli. They were both very delicious especially the toasted museli it just melted in my mouth.
Painted brick and cute random chairs in a little corner of hurstville westfied, common ground is a nice place for a coffee and meal. We ordered a mocha, burger & shakshukka. Seating was. Comfortable and meals we enjoyable. Service was attentive. We ordered at the front and the items arrived quickly. The coffee was nice. No highchairs but a seat that straps on to the chair was available as well as self service still and sparkling water. The water glasses were a bit dirty and it took a little searching and wiping to get something clean to use. No other complaints.
