I like their milk pudding and mango. Delicious and portion is just right as a mouth refresher. However, in terms of pricing- bit steep for the size!

Sweet Town is a small stall all the way at the end of the store that sells HK style desserts.
I ordered two different types of milk puddings - the red bean and also the coconut milk. They were simple, no frills desserts.
Would come back here again for other things on the menu :)

The name of this place is hilarious. We came here pretty much because we were so amused by it. But we were also pleasantly surprised by the selection here. We got the mango sago and the coconut sago and they were both slurped down like there was no tomorrow. The desserts are more HK/Cantonese style than say Taiwanese or mainland.

What’s special about this place? Nothing really. But the prices are reasonable, desserts are decent and the service was quite good (considering it’s Hurstville). And most of all it’s just in a damn good location where you can meet up with friends.

We’ve been back a few times and have tried out more things on the menu (almond sweet soup, mango coconut noodles, milk pudding) and it hasn’t been too bad.

We ordered a double layered fresh milk pudding (warm) and rice ball in black sesame soup (warm). This was exactly what we wanted after a small dinner, it isn’t super fancy but the prices were reasonable and the server was helpful. Will have to come back to try some more from the extensive menu.

Good Hong Kong desserts with so many selections. We tried the tofu pudding with ginger syrup, mango sago, and nutty durian. Pricing ranges from $6-$14, but the serving is so generous. The only downside is the use of single-use plastic containers instead of reusable bowls.

Ordered the durian double layered milk pudding. It was quite fragrant but not an excellent version of the dish. The top was hot and bottom was cold so it has clearly been premade. The flavours were ok but with desserts like this, it is a matter of flavour, temperature and texture. On temperature and texture, it only just passed the test. The dish cost $15 - expensive because of the durian - but it would be more appropriately priced at around $13 given the quantity. It would be good if they had ceramic bowls but perhaps cos of covid it has to be disposable. Nevertheless, the best thing about this shop is that it is open late. If you are with a bunch of friends and you’ve just finished playing badminton or something and it’s 10pm, you could head here for a quick after-game social and be perfectly satisfied.

You’re not here for good service but it’s a good little spot to fix your cravings for Asian desserts. Good selection.

Contender for best black sesame dessert on this side of Asia. Despite the location and covid influences, with the first taste of the dessert bowls, one would clearly taste the consideration towards and freshness of the ingredients. Would love to return regularly, and get through trying all of the extensive menu!

We got the coconut milk, Mango and black sticky rice with ice cream one and it was really yummy. It would have been better if the coconut milk was also cold. Good amount of sweetness and very fulfilling.

Best Hong Kong dessert you could find in Hurstville and possibly in Sydney with decent price.

Great little dessert place in Hurstville. They are located in a small corner space near the station. They have a wide variety of authentic Asian desserts. Very flavourful with fresh ingredients. Decent pricing and good portion size. They have limited space and seats. Usually a bit crowded. About 20 seats that are shared with other stores. 2% surcharge for card payments.
