Review Moni Ka Dhaba Indian Restaurant - Hurstville

We placed a $80 order tonight on the restaurant's website. Did not receive a confirmation email. Between my wife and myself, we called the shop numbers no less than 7-8 times. the phone rang each time and answered but we could not hear anything. I drove out to the shop 40 minutes later to find the restaurant closed (photos). We had to call the credit card company to cancel the payment. Unacceptable!!!!!

This is what we get, when we order lachha paratha, the worstest Indian food i have ever had. Butter chicken is over sweetened and also over expensive than any other restaurant located at city. Overall rating should be -10

I love this place they never disappoint. The beef vindaloo and bombay beef are our go to dishes, don't forget the pappadums 😋

Food is usually good, but the last time we ordered the food never arrived. It was too late to get other food by the time we realized it was never coming… we were pretty hangry.

We ordered Hara Bhara Kabab from this place and it was so yummy . The portion size was huge for its price. They were made fresh and it was so tasty . Must try at this place !!!

Delicious variety of Indian delights so much that we are eating leftovers tomorrow. Very reasonable price timely delivery. No negatives other than being too full to move. We had goat, chicken, prawn dishes with samosa, onion bhagi es and naan breads and rice. I rarely review but this one is worth the effort. To the lady that took my order perhaps what I ordered but a little less would be a suitable banquet.

We visit (or take away) weekly and have never been let down. The food is outstanding, service is genuine and welcoming. This is truly a hidden gem and feels like you're visiting family.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been too. The food was so fresh and tasty, we ordered the lamb cutlets were amazing along with the Aloo Ghobi whereby the spice was customised to our preference and tasted authentic. The owners are super nice and friendly. Will definitely come back here again!

If you can afford it, you might as well get everything on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so attentive. It was wonderful to find such friendly service. This restaurant was a delight to eat in. We will be back again!

Always enjoy dining at Hurstville NSW' Moni Ka Dhaba, Excellent service, the waiters always greet you at the door on arrival, water is served as soon as you arrive at your table. Food and service excellent - if your going to one of the Theaters nearby - the Fast Menu is great - If you have never dined at Florentine - it's an icon of New South Wales - and well worth a visit.

Great live entertainment, and the service was fantastic. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu and were happy to help. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

This restaurant offers an above average Indian food experience. While not one the best Indian restaurants in Sydney, it's not much to complain about either.<br/> The area doesn't offer many different Indian restaurants but this one will suffice if you live close. They also offer home delivery at a reasonable price too

The service was great and the server friendly.  I had the Breakfast Bowl and my wife had the Mixed Vegetable, Malai Kofta.  Both were very good, fresh and flavorful.  Don’t have to decide were to get breakfast tomorrow...

Fantastic! We ordered four different dishes to share and they were amazing!  Staff are really friendly. Good price too. My friend suggested this place and  I am glad that we went there. ❤️

Top service ‘5*’, top food, amazing black truffle fried Vegetable Platter ‘YUM!’ and an amazingly large bill! We took the stairs on he way out to work off the full tummies.

Friendly staff, very nice place.Real candles on the candelabras really set the mood in this quirky setting. The menu option that we ordered was really flavorsome  and leaving us wanting more! Up market price point.

Hands down best Indian food in New South Wales! Have probably been there every weekend, food never changes. Quality is always great. Service could be a little better. Its home for students craving home food! Must visit

Service was outstanding, I can't remember the name of the waiter but I know he was from Leeds in NSW (AU) . Tasty food, the only downside was the portion size. I went for the Red Emperor dish

It's the most popular place for foodies in Sydney. They are specialist in Punjabi food and is number 1 in Sydney. They always prepare a fresh and delicious food. Must try it.....

A great way to start the day. Or night. Your choice. Made moments before serving, at least that's what it seemed. Great prices considering the amount of food they provide. Should definitely try this place out if you have time to kill.

Loved it! Apart from *too much food* this was a brilliant way to dine out in New South Wales. We chose to have a lunch menu as only three courses. And at midday one can sightseer from the Moni Ka Dhaba. Chef was a character with a great singing voice and culinary skills. Excellent waiter. Couldn't fault this experience. Don't be late as the Moni Ka Dhaba will not wait. Two empty tables on our tram due to no-show late arrivals. The way the kitchen is set up means they can not take late arrivals on board once underway.

This is an outstanding restaurant. The best Indian food I have eaten. The service is very special up to the standard expected in an fine dining establishments. We choose the 4 course fixed menu but the menu is extensive. I look forward to going again.

Excellent food. Considering we had nine courses the price was quite reasonable. We really enjoyed Moni Ka Dhaba and would highly recommend it.

This is a must do experience in Moni Ka Dhaba. We did the evening meal with our friends from Italy and they like us absolutely enjoyed the experience. Our hostess for the evening was amazing full of humour and made everyone’s night NSW. Meals were excellent and brought out through out our journey. Then finished with a photo session we our hostess. Terrific night had by all....

This is one of my favorite places in the area. The dishes that they serve are amazing! The chef also knows how to interact with the customers. I have to say that this place deserves a 5-star rating from its clients.

Order the Tandoori Platter. The best I've had anywhere. The other food is as you would expect - high quality. Not cheap in fact very expensive. Its all true what they say about the food. The atmosphere is however just above average.

Such an amazing place to have lunch, i had the chips and avocado dip. It was the most amazing thing i have ever had!!! Love love love can't rave about this place enough.

Totally loved the place. I've made it a point to visits here every time i come to (Moni Ka Dhaba )NWS and it never fails to make me truly happy with its great ambiance and delicious food. Every dish and dessert is so perfect and so amazing that you'd want more. Every time i try i new dish and i love it more and more.

Very nice co-operative staff.. Awesome food and environment. Beautiful ambiance with excellent food. Definitely one of our favorites in Adelaide for Indian food.

I have been to the early dinner and lunch. Both times was absolutely fantastic!!!! The decor, the ambience is gorgeous. The staff are extremely accommodating and great fun.

Very cute location where you can eat elevated on a Varandah watching the world go by but now closed permanently for an Chinese cuisine outlet.

I'll start by saying that the food here is tasty! Naan (especially garlic naan) was so warm and fresh. I got the first chicken dish on the menu. It had oil oozing out of the dish - so if you like lots of oil and spices, you'll find it amazing. <br/><br/>I am giving this place a 2 because of all the other factors - there was not much service, it took them forever to give us water and everything was very slow (not in the good enjoy your food way). Further there was a lot of stains on our table cloths. I can't help but think we'd rather not have table cloths at all. Finally the blue lighting at the side of the room was a little strange, making the place seem like a strip club rather than a restaurant. In terms of price, we spent approx $50 even with drinks. So it is not too bad.

Great food, good service. Food tasted excellent and service was good. <br/>Nice presentation and hygienic food, unlike the other Indian restaurant I ate last week in South Huntsville.
