This is our favourite Cafe for coffee and dessert at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. We visit after lunching at a nearby restaurant.
Our dessert is fresh and refreshing while our coffee is hot and intense. A relaxing treat!
The best cafe to indulge in desserts at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. Came here on weekday, the service was prompt and friendly.
The visually appetizing desserts were displayed right out to the customer. Ordered the cake with cream/meringue on top and the eclair with peanut butter. Both were delicious; balanced in taste and not overwhelmingly sweet. The pricing was okay too, not too expensive.
Would definitely be back to try out other cakes!
I came to this cafe with my family, whilst doing some shopping at Indooroopilly. Service was fast and prompt. I had an iced latte (which came deconstructed) and a few macaroons. Coffee was nice and the macaroons were tasty. Just a tad expensive.
A great selection of pretty sweets, pastries and cakes. Their macarons are a little on the smaller side and are pricey, but they’re delicious. The individual packs they come in (for takeaway) are cute and handy but am worried about the sustainability/environmentally friendliness of it.

I still enjoy going to this cafe and have a cup of coffee with scones while reading a book.
The scones are one the best here, come with fresh jam and cream. Staff are also very nice.

As a cafe in a shopping center I like it. Coffee is great here. They have a variety of nice and tempting sweets. I love the window seats with the lovely soft chairs.
We booked the high tea via phone, as we arrived everything is ready to go. Great customer service! The cakes looks delicious and pretty, the taste is exceed my expectation！yummy!
This is a nice place to get your dessert fix. The food display always looks inviting, with colourful, unique and interesting cakes and slices for sale. The seating is quite nice also, and if you sit by the window and enjoy the view you will forget you are in a shopping centre.
Amazing! The cakes look beautiful every time I come by and they taste delicious too!
One of the best places to go to relax, the chairs by the window are my favourite, they’re definitely popular, it’s as if I need to reserve a spot! Lovely on rainy days.
The service here is wonderful. I can’t wait to try a High Tea here some day :)
Beautiful cafe with beautiful decor and beautiful cakes in the display window. I got my eyed on this beautiful luscious velvet colour cake called mixberries cake. Cake was delectable and melt-in-your-mouth with generous of berries between the cake...this is something that you can't forget for a long time. Beside cake, we also had a raspberry ice tea and strawberry milkshake. Both were refreshing though I was thought the ice tea would be sweetened and as for milkshake..it was the first time mu daughter tried it and since then she will asked for a milkshake everytime she went but so far here she had the best strawberry milkshake
I come often for breakfast (after they open at 9am on weekdays) and always find the food to be hot, tasty and well priced. They make a good coffee and service is always friendly. Menu is attractively different from many other cafes. The only negative is the place (specifically the floors) need more attentive cleaning.
Great Customer Service, the Staff are always friendly every time I come in. Their coffee always tastes amazing and scones are delicious! Sitting by the windows are my favourite during a rainy day, while also having the loose leaf Paris Tea
I love the fact that this cafe is inside the shopping centre. What's better than to take a break from shopping, order a coffee and indulge in something naughty. I love the idea of their deconstructed drinks, I ordered the iced latte and my friend ordered the blood orange soda, the soda was refreshing and latte was creamy with a hint of coffee, just how I like it.
Awesome place to do afternoon tea with your loved ones or girls catch up. Amazing deserts and have been one of my favourite place for my birthday cake! (Used to be le bon choix, but had too many of theirs). The cakes at passiontree velvet are very well balanced flavour. Oh, have to try their macaroons!!! We came here for high tea before as well, I'd rate high for their high tea too! Every items there are very enjoyable!
Such a pretty little cafe with a great view through huge windows. Nestled in the newer section of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre this place is worth a visit. Beautiful cakes and macaroons presented temptingly in glass cabinets. Order with a drink and it is brought to your table. Red velvet is my favourite. Whole cakes available too. Take a seat and relax and enjoy the view while eating delicious cake.
We came here for a high tea and chose the Duchess Package that came with a choice of tea, coffee or other drinks (at an extra charge) and an assortment of cakes, sandwiches and scones. I've been wanting to try this high tea for a long time since it looked so luxurious and delicious.
I booked online, which was very easy and simple, and we arrived on the day with everything ready to go. Our table was set against the large windows and we had big, comfy chairs. All the food on the trays was outlined on a small menu which was helpful and we picked from an average sized menu of teas.
I ordered the Dorchester Breakfast tea and it was delicious with just a dash of milk. The sandwiches were all tasty, the scones were warm and the cakes were too much to even finish. The employee packed up the remaining cakes in a box to go and it was excellent service. Overall, I enjoyed the High Tea greatly and I would book here again.
Caramel Macaroon take away for 1. This flavor is recommended by the staff there:) and i loved it. It not extremely sweet and the caramel have a nice gooey texture. Best one I have had for a long time (since the one I used to have whenI was traveling to U.S and brought some macaroons in a specialist shop).
I went there after lunch time, and You can tell that the mocha flavor is also a big hit because there is not many left:) Will try it next time.
Food + service was amazing. Great setup. Loved it. Will be back. Baked eggs with ham and cheese was a tasty, tasty dish. Decor is stylish and comfortable.
Always a pleasure dining here, would recommend the Coffee & Cake, Crouqe Monsieur, Rose tea. The iced drinks selection is my favourite as they are presented so beautifully. Next we will be trying a High Tea option. Service friendly, but more attention of clearing and cleaning tables is needed. Light filled and very pretty location/decor.
Passion Tree had really cute decor and presentation. I ordered the Berry and White Chocolate Mousse. The Berry Coulis was too hard but the rest of the dessert tasted alright. Great service.
A gorgeous little open cafe in Indooroopilly shopping centre. The decor is lovely with winged chairs or pretty regular seats. They make an excellent soy cappuccino. The service is okay - not worth commenting on.
I tried a dessert here, can't remember what it was called, it had cheesecake and berries in it and was layered and in a rectangle shape. It was not very nice, one of the layers very much resembled plastic... perhaps too much gelatin? It ruined the whole cake as it was impossible to cut through with a fork without mangling the whole thing.
Haven't been to many high teas, but I was pleased with this place. The presentation of everything really added to the experience. Friendly staff and good service.
I had been hoping to have another passion tree velvet in Southside other than only Carindale.
I was so excited to see one at my favourite shopping centre in Indooroopilly. However the service was a little not up to standard.
We ordered TWO strawberry macarons for my son and one cream brûlée cake for myself. They only brought us one macaron and my husband need to keep asking the staff several time before they brought out the second one for my son. Other than that, the cake and coffee were nice.
This was my first time going to Passion Tree Velvet and I really did enjoy my time there. The service was very friendly and our beverages and cakes came out fast.
I really enjoyed the whole idea of DIY drinks because it allowed my to choose how much milk and coffee I wanted in my ice beverage, same with the teas as well. The cakes looked beautiful and were very tasty but the only thing that prevents me from giving this place a 5/5 was the amount of tables left with finished dishes from the previous customers. The staff seemed too focus on serving and making beverages that they may have ignored cleaning the tables which made the place look a little messy but overall the service, food and beverage was very nice
This place is nice especially when comes to their options for sweets is always good. The coffee is average most days not great but today was good, I hope they did something to improve the quality of their coffee. The only wired thing is their opening hours, somedays they close early at 3 pm or offer a takeaway option only but other days you can find them open with dining in after 3 pm.
a relaxing and nice cafe~!!! great for talking to friends, studying or just chilling in~~ always get a pot of tea or a ice chocolate when i’m there~ drinks and desserts are all really really lovely but all are on the pricier side. Located in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, with a view of the outside. Window seating with big chairs is a really comfortable spot in the cafe!! Staff are generally pretty friendly~ cups and plates are a hit or miss though, sometimes some are quite dirty or still have marks on them, but overall a pretty good cafe in the shopping centre!!!
Very cozy, comfortable sitting area with excellent view. Macarons are fresh and tasty, although a bit pricey. The stuffs are intelligent. The waiter bought my food, coffee with a bottle of water, glass and serviettes that I really appreciate. I enjoy thoroughly food, location and view.
Ordered 8” Miss Confectionery cake from their website and picked up from this store. The cake was available at the requested time and packaged in a cake box that was neat and tidy, cling wrapped all over which was great. It was their version of Black Forest and it didn’t disappoint. The velvet brownie and carrot cake slices are very tasty, as are their macarons. Cakes and cake slices vary during the week, but you can just drop in and buy an entire cake if they have it on display.
