Delicious food, very generous portions (almost too generous!!) fast and friendly service! :) I have dined here twice and would definitely do so again.
Easily the best wonton soup I have had since I was a kid! Solid broth, lots of wontons, and heaps of veggies. The only strike against them is the bowl is almost too big? Definitely a soup that eats like a meal.
Average and expensive pho but when you are caught in the area without too many other Vietnamese options and want to satisfy your pho cravings, you just give in and pay the price. Found they were a bit stingy on the herbs and the bean sprouts didn't look all that fresh so a bit disappointed overall. Despite the high prices, they still seem to get very busy at lunch times.
Located inside Indooroopilly shopping centre this is a great place to eat after shopping or before you see a movie upstairs at Event Cinemas. They do takeaway as well. Licensed too. We ate the chicken pad Thai , the wonton soup and the seafood laksa. Ready in less than 5 mins they call out your number and you go collect your meal and select condiments and grab cutlery or chopsticks.
The food was tasty and full of flavour. Also available are rice paper rolls, curries, stir fries and specials. Well priced food and the only gripe would be- there was no sparkling on the menu.
Chicken pho - Vietnamese to the core, great flavours with a zesty freshness not always found in food courts. The noodles and chicken were great and enjoyed all the add ins, the quail egg is a nice little addition also. Not a big fan of the tofu as it was a bit fishy, but who really has pho for the tofu? Definitely have this again.
Best Vietnamese in town! Can't go wrong with their pho and their rice rolls. They have lots of sauces for you to choose from to compliment their meals. It's really tasty and their rice dishes look quite generous as well
Our favourite Vietnamese place in Westfield Indooroopilly, we have tried almost the whole menu so far. The food here is fresh and tasty and generally comes out pretty fast. They are always packed during lunch, more so during the weekend which means you will need to wait a bit for your food.
As a part of Pig N whistle, the prices here are significantly higher than an average Vietnamese restaurant. After recent refurbishment, the prices have gone up even further. For example, there used to be 3 rice paper rolls on each serve, now only 2 for $8.50 which makes it $4.25 each, almost double the price of what you can get everywhere else and doesn't taste any better. Quality-wise, they are a bit above average. So if you don't mind paying extra for a good tasting plate of food and convenience then this place is for you.
Just a tip, steer clear of the rolls and appetizers and stick to the main dishes, unless you can justify paying 80% more than what it's worth. We would give it a 4 but taking into account the recent price increase, half a point was taken off.
We recommend Turmeric Fish Tossed Noodle, Cinnamon Goat Curry, Grilled Pork Salad, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa is also decent.
Love the place. Lovely every dish they have got! Pork chop meatloaf and rice is my fav. Salad with crab spring roll or sugar crane prawn just awesome.
Hainanese chicken rice is the reason we visited Phuc Deli Viet, and it did not disappoint. It was fairly good and reminiscent of Singapore food courts - something difficult to achieve in suburban Australia. Will return to try more Vietnamese dishes, but a fairly decent effort at the delicious and tricky Hainanese rice will always be the star here.
“Phuc Deli is our local and possibly the best Vietnamese in Brisbane! I must admit to being extremely biased in this review. It is very hard to critic my favourite restaurant.”. Although I dine here almost weekly I rarely venture from two regular menu items. In winter I have the Chicken or Tofu Pho (Noodle Soup) $16.50 which comes with extra chilli, beans and vietnamese herbs. Whereas, in summer I swap between the Chicken Viet Salad and Tofu Viet Salads $16.50. On the new menu though something that has caught my eye is the Salmon but I am yet to try it. A large majority of the options on the menu are gluten free and all items are made fresh.
Salad was delicious!. Every time I'm in Indooroopilly, we try to eat here. Never disappoints us and I'm a continuous return customer for more then 10years. Love this place!
Authentic for mall food.. I have eaten here on two occasions only because this is one of the few places that are open till 9.30 pm on week days. This is definitely authentic vietnamese and not something you expect in a mall. Highly recommend the sliced beef noodle soup.
Love Phuc deli I've been coming here for a couple of years now. I can't find any Vietnamese in brisbane that is quite as good. Food is so fresh and amazing and the beef salad is a great hangover cure!
Deeelicious chicken salad. Never fail here.
I love the Hainan Chicken very much. It is a must order dish. If the price can be a little bit lower I would go more frequently.
A little pricey but good. The food is a little on the expensive side for Vietnamese, but it is in a shopping centre so I guess you expect that. The food itself is great; fresh and full of flavour and the servings are easily enough to fill you up.
Favorite Viet restaurant in Brisbane. I love the food at Phuc Deli and find it better than any of the Inala's restaurants. Its not cheap but the portion given is huge. Love the crispy chicken rice and thai salads. The nest rolls are lovely too. And the drinks are really good too. Highly recommended. :)
Grabbed some rice paper rolls for lunch and was really surprised, fresh & quick. Definitely not food court type plasticky processed rolls you usually get in the big shopping centres or some food courts in town. Great to see all the chefs making dishes fresh too. Same kitchen services the Pig N Whistle which explains why the Pad Thai I had there a while back was so good. Big fan of the Pig in town so must give the one at Indro another go.
All in all Phuc Viet is good authentic Vietnamese food cooked by Asian chefs that's fresh & tasty, I'll be back.
Delicious Pho. The beef pho reminded me of breakfasts in Hanoi, delicious! I haven't tried anything else on the menu but am keen to go back.
Spicy Seafood Glass Noodle Soup.. Absolutely amazing.. I have been driving from the south side to enjoy this fantastic, authentic Vietnamese soup for years. Worth the drive and worth the price. A true foodie heaven..
Just brilliant Vietnamese food, closest to what you'd actually get in Vietnam. Always fresh and fast.
Whenever I'm at the shopping centre, I always come here. It's probably one of the best quality pho's that I have come by in Queensland!!! A bit pricey, but I am happy to pay for the quality of the meal. The young coconut meal is refreshing as well, a great addition to the beef pho, especially want to add a bit of spice to the soup! Highly recommended!
Beef pho from here is lovely, as is the wonton noodle soup. It is a bit pricey though
I've only tried the Lemongrass Beef Salad but it's so good that I keep going back! Deliciously fresh. The serving size is large. The service is very quick. Perfect for a quick meal.
Love it. So yummy, fresh and fast! I love the location, its kind of in the food court but attached to pig and whistle. It's a great alternative to the food court but is a little pricy for not having the full restaurant set up.
Updated: March 2016.
Phuc Deli Viet has prospered under it's head chef Johnny and staff. It has now blown out in size, with new seating expanding into the Indooroopilly Food-court, and zoned off to incorporate a liquor licence.
The menu has expanded too, which new Chefs' expertise in new authentic Vietnamese dishes.
New dishes include: Steam Rolled Noodles (Banh Cuon), Tossed Noodles, Pad Thai and of course the traditional Beef / Chicken Pho.
The Steam Rolled Noodles is fantastic, made fresh daily; really tasty - a true taste of Vietnam.
The Tossed Noodles is something I remember my mother made as a 'homey' dish, but never saw it in any of the Vietnamese Restaurants here. You've got to try it and experience all the delicate flavours mixed into the special sauce.
The Pad Thai is also fantastic, better than many I've had at many Thai restaurants. Keep on enjoying!
- - - - - - - -Authentic, Healthy, Delicious. The Pho here is divine: freshly made. The broth is fully flavoured, without the MSG thirst that you get at many other Vietnamese restaurants.
Edit: those patrons who feel the pho broth is bland or lacking in depth, dare I say that your taste buds have been too used to the MSG laden broth at other restaurants.
Their Bun (vermicelli) salads are so crisp and refreshing, with the perfect balace of herbs, savoury meats (especially the sugar cane prawns), and crispy salad.
Try their Fresh whole coconut, and then once finished with the juice, as the staff to cut it open so you can attack the coconut flesh... so creamy!!!
Pricing is a little high (compared to subburban Vietnamese places) but when you consider the freshness and the taste, it's relative cheap (compared to say Thai food).
Bit pricey but worth it! Super fresh quick and tasty. Viet salad Is a standout
Chef Johnny Tran has a palate of a seasoned chef and doesn't need to cut corners to make a strong, standout stock. I was recently invited to try Chef Johnny's signature pho. The more I found out about his history, the more I understood why his food was so good. Chef Johnny came to Australia as a refugee and cooked in restaurants to support himself through school. He has worked at a number of noteworthy restaurants in Brisbane before being approached to open a Vietnamese restaurant next to Pig 'N' Whistle at Indooroopilly. This was way back in 1999. Over 13 years later, he is still the head chef here, leading the kitchen everyday. There weren't many Vietnamese restuarants around back then and I'
I don’t think that I’ve ever had bad Vietnamese food. In particular when it comes to their soups. It’s always of high quality. Lots of flavour and a generous amount. This place was no different here in Indooroopilly Mall. 👍😎
We came for dinner on a public holiday. It was medium price but large delicious portions. I bought rice rolls and prawn cake. It was clean tables.
Second visit in a month. Enjoyed the beef & lemongrass noodle salad so much last time, I had to have it again. Like most places in June 2022, they've had to replace lettuce with cabbage/cucumber, but the difference is negligible.
3pm on a Saturday afternoon is still quite busy at Indro, but it's quiet enough in the food court area to have a conversation. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
We regularly get the pho and grilled beef noodle salad dishes, which are very consistent quality, tasty and full of flavour. Definitely better quality than the other Viet shops in the shopping centre.
However the prices are a tad pricey at around $20 per dish, so apart from price it's probably 5 stars.
Our place to go to for a great Pho and Laksa; great service, great food, friendly ambience. If you haven't been, you are missing out on some yummy food, and a great way to get a loud off your feet after walking around the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. You owe it to yourself, to your feet, to your family, this heartwarmingly great food, friendly staff and a menu for everyone. This is a number 1 taste sensation, belly filling feel good place to eat in. Step in, order, get seated and once your number is called, grab and get stuck in. Wonderful.
