The coffee here is usually good so we have a pit stop whilst shopping. I ask for an extra-hot large Cafe Latte and it is served in under 3 minutes. The coffee is hot, intense and full flavoured. Thank you Guys!
Noticed the quality of the coffees going out to the tables as soon as I walked into this franchise. Perfectly presented flat whites & capuchinos with beautiful art work. Then I noticed they served a single origin brew so decided to sample the Exotica, a fruity blend with notes of plum. It definitely did not disappoint. The combination of flavor was spot on, just a shame I didn't have time to enjoy it in inside the shop instead of a takeaway, which usually spoils the presentation as soon as the lid is removed. Definitely the best Coffee Hit franchise I have visited
Remember I had the coffee at one of its siblings was in Carindale Shopping Centre and the experience was impressive. Visited this chain store at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, the same feeling of impression came to the end of my visit.
Only hit for a coffee break but the friendly service and contemporary lay-out made me so relaxed. By the time that I saw the roaster displayed in the café, it gave me much of the confident on its coffee production. In fact, the flat white came to the table with well presentation. Its strength and depth of flavour were perfectly matched with my palate. It really makes my day, thanks for the service team.
Needed a quick coffee hit, and right near the escalators was a busy coffee shop. Front tables all occupied, but today was a takeaway coffee.
12oz coffee or medium was $5.10, staff were friendly and had a nice vibe to the place.
Took a while to get a coffee, after ordering.
Coffee was just a tad too hot, but with a strong and smooth taste was a nice wake up call.
I had a medium size cappuccino in this cafe while I was doing a bit of reading. Staff were very nice and service was quick. I enjoyed the ambience. Lots of space and easy to focus on your work if you are after a nice and quiet cafe to relax and work.
The coffee was great. I loved it.
I love it when someone asks you how you like your poached eggs, soft, medium or hard, knowing full well it won’t be how you like it or when you ask for your bacon well done, again knowing it will be raw or deep fried.
Well Coffee HIT nailed it. For a shopping centre breakfast this was remarkable.
After yet another lot of medical tests that I had to fast overnight for, I quickly headed to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre for a good strong coffee and a bite to eat before doing the groceries. With No.1 daughter in tow she directs to the ground floor to The Coffee Hit. In the display cabinet is just what I need at 9.45am with no food in my belly is a good old Bacon and Egg Roll!
With a nice flat white ordered, daughter orders the savoury muffin and a cappuccino.
We sit down and within minutes our coffees arrive. The coffee is strong and smooth and just what I needed. The Bacon and Egg roll has ended up flattened in a sandwich press, but hits the spot! I always forget this place as I normally head to Foundry on Level 3, but this one has more food options, so it's now back on my radar, 4/5.
Some notes:
Good:
Coffee. Piccolo was on the large side which works well for the strong coffee they were using. Lovely earthy blend that I like. I agree with other reviewers that for shopping centre coffee it's excellent.
Scrambled eggs were perfect and loved the truffle butter
Decor fabulous and service was friendly and swift. Food is also presented well.
Not so great
Not hollandaise, more like mayo with curry powder. Wrong colour too. Slow cooked ham hock could be great but a touch too salty. The sourdough is like supermarket sourdough rather than the real deal. Bacon undercooked, but bacon is polarising. We prefer it closer to crispy. I usually don't bother talking about eggs anymore, living on a farm makes me an impossible customer to wow, but these has that telltale fake orange yolks of cheaper eggs.
Overall I found it to be a touch too expensive for this many flaws.
Slow cooked ham hock eggs Benedict is absolutely delicious .. the ham literately fell apart and melted in my mouth .. my partner had the beef burger and loved it as well.. great coffee, this place is pretty awesome, we'll definitely be back... thanks
Good coffee! Don't usally get coffee from shopping centres but it was very nice . Friendly staff. Chilled atmosphere, really groovy interior.
I called in here for a light lunch and to rest my feet during my shopping trip. I ordered the vegetarian quiche, chips and salad and a pot of tea. The venue is nice and welcoming with newspapers available to catch up on the Sunday news. The staff are friendly and prompt to serve. My pot of tea was great. The pot is actually so big you could easily get three cups of tea out of it.
My meal arrived looking nicely presented. However, the salad I ordered with my meal did not arrive. The waiter was apologetic and set about ensuring my salad was delivered. The quiche itself was only average. It was a little on the dry side and lacked a depth of flavour. That said, I do know that quiche and eggs, in general, do need a whole lot of seasoning to get a real kick flavour wise. The salad (once it finally arrived) was very generously served portion was and was fresh and tasty. The chips were served piping hot and quite enjoyable. The meal and pot of tea were so generous that I struggle to finish my entire meal.
FOODIE FEEDBACK - Overall his place is a nice spot to visit for lunch, good prices, good service and generous food portions.
Best coffee in indro, hands down! The staff are friendly, it does get a bit busy at peak times but if you have the time, make the wait!
My first experience here I just came in for a quick coffee before doing some shopping and didn't have very high expectations. However, I was completely blown away at how nice the coffee and staff were! Will be coming back!
Eggs benny has turned into the default breakfast meal I will always try if I'm out somewhere new. This one was good. I'm a fan of the English muffin as the base. Ham was present but got lost in the hollandaise sauce which was pretty average. Thankfully the eggs were perfect. Libby Nimmo told me that the pancakes were nice and there was a really good amount of bacon and maple syrup. The hipster revolution means the coffee seems to be great just about everywhere we go these days so it's probably not worth mentioning anymore. Nice staff, but a little slow with the service.
Salmon bagel and coffee. Service was quick and bagel tasted nice. Abit pricey but expected for indoroopilly. Ill always come here if im in the centre, wouldnt make a trip just for it though.
I don't often go to coffee shops in the middle of shopping centres but I'll make an exception for Coffee Hit. The coffee is always smooth and delicious. Although it does take a while for the coffee to arrive. It would be nice to have a designated Take Away waiting area I felt a bit awkward standing in the middle of the café.
Coffee good, staff polite, service a little slow. Worth a look.
Easily the best coffee in indro. Had several coffees from here. Always perfectly made. Also, we buy the beans sometimes and they are great quality. Nice place!
Firstclass coffee. Thought the cappuccino this morning was as good as I've ever had. Hot rich and delicious.
Great service awesome coffee good portion size ( not to much ) will be back
This place is pumping on the weekend!! I don't normally write reviews but after reading the review before mine I needed to respond - you don't know what your talking about!! This place serves really good coffee at quick pace, yes there is normally a wait of less than 10 minutes (I timed them this morning!) but the staff tell you so you are well informed, as for only having 2 baristas there are always more than that at the weekend. Good is great too, my fav is the breakfast salad yum yum!! Great cafe great staff even better coffee
Coffee Hit - Indooroopilly, Brisbane. Why the reception about this place has been lukewarm at best around here, I don't know. In a suburban shopping center, one that is quite centrally located and easy to get to, a very welcome addition is not only a great place to get a coffee, but what is the trusted place to find it and that is a coffee roaster. Therefore, you know the coffee is going to be fresh and smelling the constant scent from the central brewing area is something that any coffee fan - or even non-coffee drinkers who admit to liking the smell - is going to love the atmosphere even more.
After a big refurbish and expansion, this is just one of the many aesthetic improvements to Indooroopilly Shopping Center particularly around the vicinity it happens to be placed. The look of the interior transforms ands brings the diners into another place, with a deliberately chosen wooden, warehouse appearance. It is really spacious in here, and a walk to get the water is an opportunity to observe it; additionally, the space has been well-utilised which should definitely be seen as a plus as it is hard to really detect those two dynamics when they are both present.
Before a trip overseas, I met a good friend of mine at the mall after suggesting getting coffee would be enough of a send-off. I knew of a place (though my directions went off thinking I was heading elsewhere) and ended up here, which he was impressed with and thought looked good.
The service must have taken quite an improvement in the meantime. It was pleasant diligent, with an organised structure. Though, it does need to be pointed out that the coffee orders take longer to come out than the food orders; if it were a mere cafe, this would be a cause for concern. However since the beans are roasted in house, a case can be made that they are simply making the freshest coffee that they can do.
Which is fairly worth the while, as the brew they are going for has a fairly authentic Italian design to them. That means no chocolate powder on the cappuccino, which is not so bad. The coffee had a rich flavour and smooth texture; it was most enjoyable. I had mine with an extra shot, in the mug. Coffee has come a long way, and this is hopefully another entry in a sequence of great coffee available in this area; good quality coffee for lots of people, and cheaper than the familiar places.
Of course, as I always there was the thoughts of what to get something on the side for eating. The menu here is mostly fare you would expect at a cafe. Still a fairly vanilla part of town, baby steps are where it is at and the coffee is good enough an introduction of great cuisine. In addition to the standard menu, there was a - to make a comparative description - special's board. A quick glance at it, and I decided upon the "fully loaded wedges". This was their usual wedges with a combination of cheese, bacon, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce on top; one thing for sure is that I did not have to eat for the rest of the daylight.
The potato - texture-wise - was just right, if sometimes a little hard on some of the wedges and really hot. The amount put on top was really generous, covering the majority of the individual wedges themselves. Giant globs of sour cream adorned on top to be spread over the mixture, and thick slices of bacon were used; a big improvement over prior experiences with already diced bacon.
Food-wise, this place is in that category of "it is what it is" albeit that it was tasty and filling. What really makes it stand out, rise above being liked into more of a gold star is dedication to coffee. A combination of great coffee, a good mood and food that does its job is a sufficient task well done. In essence, this is definitely a place that ought to be thought of as a coffee house primarily.
Awesome!. Can't understand the bad reviews. Have been a fan of the coffee for awhile, first time eating today. Vego breakfast was incredible. Those beans! That mushroom! Oh my. Having tried most of the places at Indro, this is by far the best. Will return!
Part of the redevelopment of Indooropilly Shopping Town, it serves the best long blacks in the suburb. Slightly expensive at $4 for a small long black, the two ristretto shots make for a full flavoured coffee
I visit this place weekly if i can...Never seen such efficiency... Three baristas, one machine, customers out the door... Amazing coffee! Love!
As expected, my order arrived at the table without much delay and I tucked into my brunch with glee. The eggs were nicely done, having that rich butter-ness which I so enjoy.
The coffee is good and you can still have a real mug! I like watching the coffee roasting in the middle. It's very busy but perhaps understaffed because everything takes a long time even prepared muffins etc. Lots of interesting vegetarian options.
Friendly staff, easy ordering and quick turnaround. The coffee and scone were pretty good. Not as busy as I would have expected, as they are right next to Coles. Definitely worth a try.
