Laksa Hut - Indooroopilly - Photo album

Laksa hut was sold recently. The end of an Era. The new restaurant is called Hoda Eats. They sell Laksa, and it is similar but it is not the same. The staff are friendly, the vibe is similar but what was a 10/10 best Laksa in Brisbane is now maybe 7/10. Very light on the laksa paste and coconut milk
Worst laksa ever. Glad we paid under $15 as it was bland at best . The one option noodles were watery tasting - the soup base lacked any depth - tasted like watered down coconut milk / a bay leaf and chilli oil ! The chicken and prawn pieces straight out of a microwave and some of our prawns were
Not too bad but the base soup was a bit strong in coconut. Cheap enough and is aimed at the Asian students in the area. We had a seafood laksa and a combination laksa and Spring rolls and steamed dim sims. The service was good and the old lady who served us was friendly.
Food was ok, average but Edible. The chicken potato curry was tasty but a bit too spicy. Laksa tastes ok but a bit too thin. Chicken mushroom hotpot was a bit bland but ok.
Had the vegetable laksa with fried tofo. I was expecting alot more flavour with the soup, was very watered down with coconut milk. It was still tasty however the laksa was not authentic.
A fantastic place for the best laksa in Brisbane (tied with Super Bowl of course!) Has a real family vibe and an amazing staff who look after their regulars. The BBQ pork laksa with one of their many fruit drinks is a great lunch/dinner!
I'd say they have the best laksa. My fave is roast pork laksa.
Used to be a regular years ago, unfortunately the quality has gone downhill since then. Not bad but decidedly average these days. Laksa lacks the flavour that it used to have, sambal chicken used to have veggies but seems to have lost ingredients and size.
