Wild Local - Ingham - Photo album

Stopped in about 9am. The garlic prawn pies were just out of the oven. The best breakfast I’d had for ages. And got prawn sandwiches take away for lunch! Sensational!
We have always pulled into Wild Local when passing through Ingham to stock up on fresh seafood and frozen to stock the freezer at home. Freshest seafood around. They have just moved into the heart of town to a bigger and better store. They don't just sell seafood and have great cooked food to eat in
Tasty thick hot chips that need a touch more salt though served with a smile from staff. They stock a range of hot sauces and marinades also. Holy hell it’s pretty expensive though ($8 for one scoop)
Amazing food and great service!! Ordered the battered mackerel, crumbed prawn, crumbed calamari and scallop after recommendations from the staff and man was it delicious. The food was not oily and the batter was fresh, crispy and light. Seafood was fresh and the chicken salt on the chips was to die
We always saw the shop going past Ingham, so we finally pulled over for a feed. This was $45 worth of food. Lovely service and yummy food, but unfortunately far too expensive for us. $2.50 or $3 for a squeeze of tomato sauce.
The biggest prawns I’ve ever seen! Loved the grilled local coral trout and the mud crab spring rolls! Pic is a regular king prawn with the jumbo massive prawn against my husband’s huge hand. Sooooo big!
High quality takeaway. 2 pieces of fish are massive and so fresh. Huge chunk of salmon in the wrap. Delicious!
There are tons of menus to choose from. A whole lot of fresh and frozen seafood in store. Parking is easy to find as well as the store. A friendly staff to assist you in the shop.
