Review Cecchi's - Inglewood

The Fungi pizza is amazing - highly recommended The staff are lovely and the service is great. The food has been consistently delicious. the only thing they can make better is the heaters - They are not really effiecient in winter cold.

Wow, what a fantastic meal!! Everything from the staters, the crunchy mushroom arancini were amazing, mains Lamb Ragu pasta and the and the night's special roast Quail both superb, and the shared Ricotta Donuts and coffee were so good. We'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.

Awesome food and some great beer taps to choose from, my favourite local beer Nail Pale Ale seems to be a regular, which is fantastic, also they rotate a guest tap so something interesting on most visits. Great value food to be had, currently Wednesdays are $15 pizza/pasta night, can't go wrong! Super friendly staff.
Darina Franzi
yesterday we had pizza night and everything was delish. Will come back to try different food. Yummmmm

Italian cousin run by Australian young fellas that has no kind of and idea about customer service and the way that plates comes and goes. The food was alright overall but I had to ask to the waitress to take the dirty dishes away before they were leaving on the table the main dishes.. they only interested they had was for you to consume as much drinks as you could for the đŸ’”đŸ’”

Great family run restaurant specialising in pizza and pasta dishes. Had a gluten free friend and she highly enjoyed her meal and options. Nice wine and beers. They were a bit run off their feet early in the piece, but it quieted off around 1/4 to 9. Very personable young man waiting on our table.

The best Pizza & Tiramasu in Perth! We came here for the Wednesday night Pizza & Pasta special ($15 per dish). The pizza is made fresh with great options available. We loved the Funghi Truffle Pizza. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic Italian pizza in Perth. The Tiramasu was HUGE, very much worth it considering at most other restaurants you get a portion which is half the size. The atmosphere was great, it was really busy and happening - which is surprising for a Wednesday night in Perth! They managed the busyness very well. The service was great. The staff are funny, polite and attentive. I really enjoyed coming here and will be returning many times in the future. Do yourself a favour and visit this restaurant, it's great for families, special occassions or date night.

One of the nicest Italian restaurants we have been to. Very authentic Italian food. We were there for a 60th birthday party. Great atmosphere and big quantities of very tasty food

Delicious cocktails prepared with art and love. Good craft beer choices wth kitsch ‘period’ restored decor to enhance the visual experience. Staff were happy to recommend and customise to preferred tastes, friendly local owner and operator. Cannot speak of the food as I have not yet explored the menu, but I shall in time. Top job Mark, the area needs more bespoke business like this. Rex

Went here Thursday for lunch with the girls after reading the dinner menu. Unfortunately when we got there we were told it was light tapas . We were delighted with our food and staff were friendly and attentive. Soooooo decided to come back Sunday with one of my sons for brunch . Will be back again soon to try the dinner menu that wet the appetite in the first place . This place is a real hidden gem . I wish them all the success in this business well done guys💕💕💕💕💕

Called passed for a glass of wine on a Friday afternoon, have not been since it was D'Bruno's & I can say it's still a great place. The staff are so friendly, food was great & well priced. Highly recommend & enjoyed our time. See you again for sure. ïżœ

Visited Cecchi's tonight with a group of friends. We are locals and my eye was drawn to their quaint courtyard and stunning decor. The food was AMAZING- each person raved about their dish. Special mention to the ragout pasta, woodfired pizzas, pork loin and ricotta donuts! Attentive service and decent prices. We will definitely be back.
Erin Hunter-Thomas
This place is awesome! After another restaurant messed up our booking they squeezed 10 of us in on a Sunday night and it could not have been better! Amazing food, wine and service. I will forever dream about those pork lollipops. THANK YOU ïżœ

Had a delicious late lunch here last Sunday. Thankfully we ordered bread with our share plates, so that we could mop up every last flavoursome bit of juice! Friendly and efficient service and a wine list that covers several countries. Well worth a visit. We're definitely coming back!!

Great food, beautifully presented. Our waiter was great, tho he got very busy once the long table sat down. Will definitely be back.
Steve Catania
Awesome little secret spot. Great atmosphere, sunny courtyard to relax and enjoy a beer, wine and bites.
Kristina Babic
The pizzas were delicious but owner was rude. The other wait staff were much nicer.
James Rodoreda
Absolutely beautiful food and setting, Had my daughters wedding there recently and I can`t thank Mark and Kylee and all the staff enough ! superb .. A special thanks has to go Mark and Kylee.. James

First time checking out Cecchi's for breakfast - we'll definitely be back. Food prices a little on the higher side, but worth it for the delicious and unique dishes. Kid friendly, which we loved, and really nice coffee. Very happy to be supporting a local small business.

Can’t complain with 1/2 price pizza night on a Tuesday. I could see why it was a full house. Fluffy yet crispy base. Mushroom truffle pizza was my favourite although we did enjoy the other ones too. Ricotta donuts and tiramisu was average. Would come back for pizzas. Lovely service!

Top spot. Nice food. Decent service. Cool setting. Give it a shot for sure if you are in the area. Their sundowner drinks specials are handy too. Not ideal for children though.

This was an excellent venue for a Mother's Day lunch.  The selection of food on the menu was excellent, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional.  Stand-outs were the sardines, and the duck fat chips were not too far behind. :) Great afternoon. I'll be back.

We used to frequent Cecchis most Friday evenings for dinner and was always happy with the food and service ....... then Harry the manager left. The service is terrible now and food has dropped off as well. Very disappointing as we will never go back

We have eaten here a number of times, because we live in the area. This place used to be fantastic - great food, service and ambience. It offered breakfast for a while - which was nothing special - but dinner here used to be a real experience.<br/><br/>I thought it’d be a safe bet for our anniversary dinner. I was wrong. The portobello mushroom dish was $20 for two mushrooms. Yes. Just two mushrooms. We also had the gnocchiette and a dish that was supposed to be pasta, but tasted like an Asian stir fry with egg noodles. Three small servings, a beer and a wine set us back $100. We ended up having a second dinner at home, because we were still hungry.<br/><br/>It’s so disappointing, because this place (while never cheap) used to serve great food that was worth the price. This time, the food was mediocre, overpriced and left us hungry (but not wanting more). We won’t be going back any time soon.

Went for dinner after hearing so much about it.<br/>And so glad we did!<br/>We ordered the pork lollipops to start. They were so tender and the sweet chilli drizzle was delicious!<br/>Next I ordered the seafood squid ink fettucini and oh my goodness, it was gorgeous! It was so light and not very heavy. The pasta was so silky and soft and the sauce was so light and fresh.<br/>To finish, I ordered the ricotta donuts which was a great way to end the meal. <br/>The donuts were exactly what I hoped for; they had a cripsy, sweet coating and the insides were like clouds of ricotta cheese. <br/><br/>Not only was the food amazing, the service was fabulous and the staff were very attentive.<br/>Will definitely be coming back!

Had a great evening meal here. The ambience was great and enjoyed the different spaces from courtyard, bar and dining area. Best of all was the food ... it was excellent Italian fare. The menu was tight with enough options for all tastes. The service was enthusiastic albeit initial orders were bit slow maybe an oversight but overall pretty good. I would definitely go back and recommend it to any one who likes a good trattoria.

Went to Cecchi for dinner without reservations but we were offered a table outside. It wasn’t very pleasant to be outside that day as it was cold and windy. However, we were offered a table inside later. The food were delicious and the customer service was great đŸ‘đŸŒ. Probably a good idea to make a reservation before going 😬.

Cecchi’s is a cute restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. I appreciated all of the interesting environments they had to offer guests - outdoors under vines, inside amongst the bar or beside the kitchen - all adorned with lovely old furniture and decorative trimmings. As an Italian, I think the food is quite good and legitimate. My only criticism would be if our waiter who was extremely loud and pushy, he actually sat down at our table in a confronting attempt to pressure us into ordering dessert!
Jataucher
<br/>Excellent food. Appalling service. Not enough staff on. 90 minutes to get any food. Great results for owners costs and terrible results for special occasion guests and overworked staff<br/>

Attended a friends bday last Saturday night, we were sat out in the courtyard which is a pretty lovely spot. Great night with friends but I thought the food and a grumpy staff member let the night down. <br/><br/>Not sure what happened but the food took an extremely long time to come out, mains were atleast an hour after the entree. Granted we had a large group of about 20 people but that seems a long time between courses, too long. People were getting a bit antsy. Eventually all mains flowed out from the kitchen, pretty much all at the same time and I thought wow they are good to do that for such a large group! <br/>Unfortunately though the food suffered, my partners fish was overcooked... probably while sitting under the warmer. Also, I question the fish actually being spanish mackeral, I've brought back alot of fillets of Spanish Mack from up north, like up to 20kg of fillets in the freezer and I love it. That was one of the fishiest tasting spanairds I've tried, reason I love it so much is because it's not fishy at all! <br/><br/>I had a steak dish which to be honest wasn't very appealing at all, myself and a friend didn't eat much of ours. Just looked on the menu and can't find the dish, must have been made up for the group set menu we had. Anyway, wasn't a fan whatever it was. <br/><br/>Didn't eat desert so cannot comment there. One of the blokes behind the bar was on his monthlies too, anything and everything he had to do just seemed too hard or too much for him. Mate, gtfo of working behind a bar and the hospitality industry. And the sizes of your wine pours were pretty underwhelming. <br/>To be honest the more I think about it, the more negatives there are. Had 3.5 but lucky to get a 3 I reckon.<br/> <br/>Edit.... 2.5

After browsing through Zomato for a late brunch spot, we couldn't pass up this unique sounding menu. My husband ordered the chestnut pudding with cinnamon apples, oat and nut crumb and coffee anglaise. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken with cheese and garlic scrambled eggs, aoili and toast. H O L Y. Not only is the food tasty AF, the service was great and the coffee is on point. We look forward to seeing what dinner has to offer.

I cant comment on the food as my experience at this restaurant didn't get that far. <br/>We had to hunt a waiter down to take our order, and were told he wasnt ready to take food orders, despite having just taken an order from another table.<br/>Our bottle of wine arrived and it was the wrong bottle (the more expensive bottle on the menu). My friend called the waiter over to let him know it was the wrong bottle and that is when the waiters aggression came to light. My friend was asked why he was being precious, with the waiter pretty much asking for a fight in the restaurant. After my friend was called a precious c*** by the waiter we left the restaurant.<br/>Absolutely appalling seevice and I was quite disgusted by how we were treates. I would never recommemd this place or return which is a shame as the menu looked quite good.

4.0 rating <br/>The food was quite good, better than most I have had for a long time. (Breakfast service) <br/>Service was a little slow because of the function next door but quite polite.<br/>Coffee was good, nice flavour with perfect temperature.<br/>I had the mushroom with goats cheese - I really liked it (I ate it and then took a photo !! Yet again) Totally worth every penny.<br/>Mr Fussy had the smoked salmon avocado mousse and beetroot , that was really good too!<br/>The fried buttermilk chicken dish was sold out so this was his second choice, no regrets there.<br/><br/>Our friends had the beef dish and the other was sweet potato croquettes (I tasted this and it was yum) - the feedback was good too!<br/><br/>Will return to try dinner service soon.

Service was great but food was disappointing. Lamb cutlets stood out. Octopus was overcooked and burnt and one piece for the price! Spaghetti was ok. Doughnuts were good but cheese board was a joke , so minimal and basic for a ridiculous price. Wouldn't go back for a meal.
The Tipsy Diner
Have been to Cecchi's for dinner on several occasions and have found the food and service to be delightful. Cecchi's is a bit on the pricey side but is worth it in my opinion.<br/>A major negative for me was that my girlfriend couldn't keep her eyes of our charming Italian waiter....
FineDiners
Expected the place to be quite busy but it was extremely quiet. We ordered a few tapas dishes and they were ok, definitely not the best I've had though.
Jo
Very nice decor and has an intimate feeling. The bar has a great feel and look. Service was very good. We had the salmon gravlax and the sardine bruschetta. Very tasty although I wanted more sardines! Chicken maryland didn't have enough celeriac puree but was tasty. Duck breast was a bit overcooked but good flavours. Still to find a chef who knows how to cook medium rare meat in Perth! Dessert was disappointing. The tiramisu was a hard crunchy biscuit with runny cream although the coffee flavour was there. The pistachio panna cotta was quite rubbery, too much gelatine and we could hardly taste the pistachio. Overall nice ambience and quite romantic but a bit overpriced for what you get.
Danny G
I didn't come for dinner I came for a tapas lunch. This please is nice to sit and relax with a prosecco or negroni and have some light eats. A real delight, on an Autumn afternoon. Highly recommend even just for.a coffee and their signature dish of Mascarpone filled donuts with chocolate.

Came here for dinner to have a farewell dinner for my sister. Unfortunately it was a totally different experience from the last time I came. <br/><br/>The service was good but the food was terrible. <br/><br/>Black squid ink pasta was the worst I've ever had. Menu states garlic and chilli, which I had none of in my plate. No seasoning at all and pasta was way over cooked. The seafood was overcooked and dry. The whole dish tasted fishy.<br/><br/>We also had the homemade ravioli which arrived undercooked. We sent it back to the kitchen. We waited for awhile and the new ravioli came. However, the ravioli dish arrived and one piece was missing the filling. The chef clearly knew it was missing because the empty ravioli was placed facing down as opposed to facing up like the other pieces. <br/>My partner sent it back with even though he has been waiting for nearly an hour now with no food. <br/><br/>As we walked out of the restaurant, we got dagger eyes from the chef standing at the pass. He watched us all the way until we left the main entrance of the restaurant. That's very immature. <br/>Don't get me wrong, I am a chef too and understand the feeling of dealing with difficult customers. <br/>However, Tonight's issue is about the food. The taste. How far a chef's professionalism carries him/her. <br/><br/>Tonight's dinner experience is ..let's put it in a nice way..truly an unpleasant one. <br/><br/>I have once love this place and now will no longer go. <br/>

We had booked a table for dinner about a month before the date and the booking was taken by a staff member, not an answering machine.<br/><br/>Three hours before we were due to arrive at the restaurant, I received a call from the restaurant, saying that their main room was booked for a private function and we would be seated outside in the garden. But this might be a problem as rain was forecast, but we could always eat in their bar next door. I’m not sure what the exact purpose of this call was, but it certainly didn’t give us time to book a restaurant elsewhere for what was supposed to be a special occasion.<br/><br/>About an hour later, it rained heavily. I rang back and asked if they could definitely reserve a table for us in the bar. The lady’s first reaction was that they don’t do reservations in the bar! When I pointed out we already had a booking for the restaurant but were being excluded from it, she relented and went to ask the barman if he would allow us to reserve a table. He agreed – very kind of him! We should have cancelled at that point, I now realise, because their concept of customer service was clearly different from our expectations.<br/><br/>We arrived to see a full restaurant, with one large party and other tables occupied by couples and small groups. It did not look like a private function to us, but whatever
None of the tables in the garden were set – so presumably we were the only people to have been excluded from the indoor section?<br/><br/>We were seated in the bar and offered the menus for the bar food, not the restaurant next door, even though that what we had booked for. We tried to make the best of it. The food was ordinary. For example, the swordfish was very over-cooked, despite the waiter telling us as he served it that it might seem underdone because ‘that’s how chef likes to cook it’. At one point, a waiter asked if he could clear our plates away. We said we were still waiting on three dishes and he asked with a puzzled look if we could remember what we had ordered!<br/><br/>I cannot comment on the quality of the actual restaurant because, despite having booked, we were not allowed to eat there.<br/><br/>Overall, the experience was disappointing. The restaurant booking we had made was not honoured and the ‘special occasion’ became a very ordinary evening with ordinary food. <br/><br/>The barman almost made up for it by telling us there was no charge for the food or drink (presumably the manager had instructed him to waive any costs) but spoilt it by saying that he would actually be paying our bill himself out of his own pocket. A sarcastic touch to round off the evening!<br/><br/>We will not be going back.

Wasting no time at all we both ordered dishes to share - starting with savory we had the mushroom trifolati with ricotta and goats cheese mousse, slow eggs and toast ($18). The dish was bursting with flavour, a mixture of mushrooms and the smoothest mousse were a match made in heaven, not to mention the slow cooked eggs which were golden and runny. A very clever combination.

Had a night here midweek and though it was pretty quiet we still had an ok time<br/>The foods were plentiful but my spatchcock was a bit on the dry side<br/>Overall it was an ok evening in a casual setting
Richard
Great atmosphere and like the look of the new bar next door. Food was nice but the meals dressed with a little too much oil for me and my partner. Will definitely come again and try out the bar next time

(Pronounced Check-ee's) Had such a great night here with friends on a Friday night. Easily got a table and drinks were quick to be delivered. Although lot of beers were out of stock or unavailable, which is odd. There were many great vegetarian options and even a vegan dish which was roasted broccolini, carrots with a cashew or almond cream (my favourite dish of them all). I felt like a lot of the vegetarian dishes could be altered into vegan. I also had some bruschetta and a serve of the mushrooms with hazelnuts, which was SO amazing and the chips which were huuuuuuge. Will be coming back for some more Tapas soon, thanks Cecchi's ✹

Couldn't fault the service by our waitress, yet the portions didn't match the price. My partner got the fried chicken for $32 and finished it in three bites. I would avoid getting the 'salted caramel' ice cream in your iced mocha/coffee for $3, we were given probably a 50c size piece of ice cream. <br/><br/>The beef ragu was cold and a tiny portion. The food tasted good but there was no value. Also they were missing quite a few things from the menu which was rather disappointing. <br/>(A piece of cake for $9 is a crime). <br/><br/>Overrated, over priced, disappointing.
Robbie
Absolutely fantastic food and service!!! Had the octopus and beetroot tarte tartin for entrée and beef cheeks and lamb for mains. Absolutely delicious with great flavour and serving sizes. Finished with the apple trifle which was another world as a fresh dessert. Couldn't ask for more attentive service and timing between courses was perfect. Our new favourite restaurant in Perth.

This is a gem of a place. Food made with Italian love.<br/>The preparation and presentation was faultless. <br/>We had the squid as entree.. heavenly<br/>The pasta and pulled beef was outstanding. <br/>Wonderfully tasty and tender. <br/>An absolute must if you have not been here.<br/>Will be back... hopefully able to go through the Menu one visit at a time.

Awesome, amazing atmosphere, very cosy little house. Perfect for a winter dinner. The food was very nice, again, perfect for winter. The desert was to die for. Highly recommend.
Eevs19
When we arrived there were no seats inside and it was raining outside, the staff were able to accommodate our request and seated us inside once a table became available. The food was beautiful, great coffee and the place itself is so nice, feels like you're eating in someone's living room. The staff were also really nice. I'd come back here for sure.
Food_Glorious_Food
Been here twice for breakfast/brunch now and has been lovely. Ordered the fried chicken & truffle eggs which was tasty. Service is friendly, restaurant is very cute and set out very nicely. Menu is a little limited though.
Lralph03
Great service from a great restuarant. In a nice location for an overall great feel. Food here is amazing at great portions. Would defiantly be going again.

I have dined at this gorgeous place on numerous occasions, at all times, and have never been disappointed. The food is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is awesome. <br/>I keep coming back as its one of my favourites!

The Italian brunch scene never stretched far beyond decadent pastries.  Or at least that was what part of Italy taught me.  But in Australia, its a very different scenario.  Cecchi’s has long been on my list of places to visit, but given the short time I have in Perth each break I never quite had the chance to go there.  Its ok, last in best dressed? LOL or so I hope.
Billylamb
Been wanting to come here for dinner and brunch for so long. Finally got to come here for dinner. Set in an old house with separate dining areas. Got complimentary fried mushrooms which was a nice surprise! We ordered the cuttlefish for entree served with a refreshing salad and punchy olives - was a nice light entree. For mains we got the cacao fettuccine with ragu, I found this really bizarre, like having a savoury dessert - not sure I would order again but really quite amazing and clever how they made this into a pasta dish. Standout dish was the salmon and chorizo chowder. The salmon skin was sooo crispy and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The chowder was more like a sauce (wasn't given a spoon) with chunks of potato, chorizo and mussels - this was amazing!! Sooo tasty - I wish there was more of it! Would love to come back and try some other dinner dishes and definitely want to come back for brunch. Bit sad they aren't in the entertainment book this year though, as I think they were in it last year but never got to use it in time.
Patrick Hayes
4 of us booked brunch here on a Saturday. First impressions were great. They don't cram too many tables in like other brunch places in Perth. The staff were attentive and polite. The menu looked promising. The coffee was great to start us off. <br/><br/>However, the food took an hour to come out and the serving sizes were tiny. For example, I had the mushroom with two poached eggs which came with one tiny slice of toast.<br/><br/>Anyway, overall a lovely experience and not too expensive. I would recommend.
Carv_Y
Food was good so was the coffee, portion size could be bigger for the price we are paying though! <br/>The decor was tasteful, it was warming and quirky at the same time.

A sunny morning after a tough week, I needed some recouping over a late brekkie;  Cecchi’s, with its beautiful front courtyard, was beckoning. I arrived at 30 mins after opening, and was created at the door by the waiter; I had a huge selection of tables and decided to be indoors facing out the courtyard. It truly is a nice space, especially if it’s warmer. I was offered water and asked about coffees. I went for a long Mac topped up, which came out promptly, hot and very strong. Really good coffee! For brekkie I ordered the fried chicken and truffled scrambled eggs ($19) and on second thoughts a Bloody Mary. The waiter was hesitant as they hadn’t made it at Cecchi’s before. But they went ahead and I overhead all the commentary on what should go in; in the end they had to improvise as they didn’t have all the ingredients. And what did I think, I was asked, yes, it was good, probably not the best I have had, but it was well made and I did enjoy it. The brekkie was nicely presented and the truffled eggs were very nice with excellent flavours of truffles. The fried chicken was crisp, but was slightly over-cooked and a little dry. A very pleasant relaxed brekkie, and will come bake to try some of the other interesting items on the menu.

Decided to drop by for a quick breakfast before meeting. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, service is great! <br/>I ordered a coffee and that famous fried chicken dish. Both were phenomenal! Will definitely be back to try other dishes and arrange some dinners there in the near future.

This place is an absolute gem! The setting is nice and cosy, and the menu is impressive. We went for breakfast and enjoyed everything we ordered. Will definitely be going back for dinner!

Came here for a work function not too long ago. We were the only group in the restaurant. The service is great. The hostess is lovely and accommodating. The food was delicious! Well balanced and seasoned nicely. Would highly recommend this venue to everyone!

Had a brilliant lunch/brunch with my pal here today. Truffled eggs, fried chicken and toast, pasta with eggs, house cured bacon and cheese, and stuffed zucchini flowers on faro, beets and feta salad were all excellent and well priced. Service was friendly and efficient. Courtyard dining area was lovely spot to eat. Interior looks lux and comfortable. Wine list was short and excellent. Particularly recommend the Torrontes, for a delicious and different white. I'll be back soon.
The Urban Bento
Saturday brunch was good. Service was warm and attentive. My friend who usually only eats sweet breakfasts struggled to find sweet options on the menu but those who love savoury will have no problems. Both coffees and the prana chai latte were great. The truffled scrambled eggs were awesome. The fried chicken was okay - smelt awesome but could have done with more flavour. I would have loved another piece of the toasted ciabatta that came with it too. Awesome idea though... and an enjoyable brunch overall.

Just had the most delightful breaky at Cecchi's this morning!<br/>Such a cute little courtyard and gorgeous house, the vibe is great.<br/>I am pretty hungover so couldn't go past the linguine (dreamy) with an awesome iced long black. The waiter had an amazing Italian accent and a great knowledge of the menu, patiently explaining all the Italian words to three very hungover girls. <br/>Thanks for helping cure my hangover Cecchi's! Will definitely come back for more đŸ‘đŸŒ
Helen Vogiatzakis
A fantastic experience where the food got more delicious with each course! The service was also impeccable. We ordered the Cecchi's board for starters and it has to be the nicest bread I've had in Perth! Followed by pork belly, duck and pumpkin and broccoli lasagne. Now we are waiting for dessert but I couldn't wait to put in the review. Highly recommend. :)
The Breakfast Confidential
In an old heritage house on Beaufort street is not another antique shop, but a restaurant that will change how you view Italian restaurants. Cecchi’s is owned and run by young husband and wife team Mark and Kylee-Anne Cecchi. Mark, the head chef, comes from a family of restaurant owners beginning his career at his parents Mt Lawley restaurant Savini’s. Along with Kylee, a year spent in Italy helped Mark get back to his culinary roots and it really comes through in so many ways at this restaurant.
Luke Jackson
Had such an amazing dinner last night, couldn't fault it. Squid stuffed with saffron risotto, beautiful, rolled lamb entree yum, my goat for main perfection, to top it off deconstructed tiramisu wow. Joseppi was was attentive, informative and really looked after us, true professional. Thanks guys.
TheWiseGibbon
Hosted a birthday dinner here last night. Came here on a recommendation from another friend. We got great service, the food was impeccable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Cecchi's in the blink of an eye.<br/>
Mr A Lu
Cecchi's is a lovely little Italian restaurant built in an old house on Beaufort street, Inglewood. Visited with a group of friends for the first time two weeks ago and wasn't disappointed (have since been back twice). An original breakfast menu with beautifully prepared dishes and excellent customer service has made Cecchi's one of my top breakfast places in Perth.
Perthgirl0310
I cannot rave about this place enough! It has fast become my favourite breakfast restaurant. The menu is the perfect mix of sweet and savoury and the service is flawless!! Can't wait to go back! <br/>PS my boyfriend asked me not to be so honest as he doesn't want it getting TOO popular! :P
Annette Evans
Cecchi’s in Inglewood has been on my bucket list for several years, and I finally made it there for brunch a few weeks ago. This cosy Italian restaurant inhabits a converted house on Beaufort St, and has the perfect courtyard setting for brunch.  Inside those courtyard walls you could easily imagine for a moment that you are in a little trattoria in Tuscany, far removed from the busy thoroughfare it lies on.
Alex Dimov
What an awesome experience! I could not fault this wonderful place. The food was incredible and the staff were very friendly. <br/><br/>We had been waitered by an Italian man with very good English and with a very nice accent might I add. He had the whole floor to work with last night and he did a very good job, fast, efficient and friendly.<br/><br/>Anthony Trovato is Italian also so it was nice to see them both communicate about food and drinks and there passion for food.<br/><br/>To start off with we had a complimentary prawn and watermelon kebab, very small but a beautiful combination.<br/><br/>We didn't want to get too much of a big entre as we would of been full for our mains but we were starving so we decided to get the antipasto sharing board which had Salami, Copper, Italian Cheese, Olives, Roasted Eggplant, Roasted Peppers and Roasted Zucchini with some slightly fried bread sticks. Wow is all I can say. The Italian cheese just melted in your mouth and all the produce you can tell it is authentic and not from, for example, Coles or wollworths.<br/><br/>Might I add the sharing board was very generous as well.<br/><br/>Onto the mains. I ordered the Papargelle Ragu w/ Ricotta and it was so fresh and the beef was cooked to perfection. Another meal that was gone in seconds and it wasn't something that would fill you up quickly, the portion size was perfect for it. <br/><br/>Anthony ordered the Seafood Linguini which was also very fresh. I believe they make all the pasta fresh, which you can tell because this was another meal that didn't get you feeling sick full from eating quickly or too fast. <br/><br/>To finish off the food we then chose to have dessert where our waiter had told us 3 but the one we chose was the most recommended which were the Ricotta Doughnuts. It had a really nice vanilla gelato to compliment the doughnut. I've never had this in my life nor heard about ricotta doughnuts before but my god, it was the best dessert I've had in such a long time. I highly recommend.<br/><br/>To wash all of our food down during our meals I had the Red from Italy and Anthony had the SB white wine from Friuli, Italy. Perfect match might I add, for our meals we selected.<br/><br/>Overall with all the food and drinks we ordered the bill was only $155 which was well worth it and very cheap considering how amazing the food, service was.

Amazing customer service & quality, tasty food, my partner and I have moved to Perth from Melbourne, and have found it extremely difficult to find qualify food that is tasty and not over priced. We were pleasantly surprised at the experience we had a Cecchi's, words can not describe how happy we were, FINALLY a restaurant that is quality in every way and in Perth! Maybe there is hope for this city yet! Will definitely be back and can't rave about it enough!

What a beautiful venue! The restaurant had no record of my booking but luckily there were tables available. I forgot that the brioche croissant with salted caramel ice cream is a bit of a signature dish here and had the croissant on its own. Just as well as the mushroom dish was more filling than I thought it would be at first glance! Excellent service. Tasty food. I can't wait to come back for dinner.Andodacommando

Charming little venue with all the Romance Italian restaurants have to offer. The wait staff are lovely, well versed in the menu and have perfect table etiquette. <br/><br/>The food was delicious, tastey and delivered what was promised. It is pricey but definitely worth the cost. <br/><br/>Perfect for couples or double dates.
Queen Of Bad Timing
I chose the mushroom trifolati with ricotta and goats cheese mousse, hazelnut, slow cooked eggs and toast ($17.00). Oh yum. I love mushroom anything, and the earthy combination of the flavour worked perfectly with the creamy cheese components. I've said it before, and I'll still continue to harp on, slow eggs are totally my jam. Gooey, oozy, sexy slow eggs. And Cecchis do them so well. So, so well.

The little great place. Good food, Good menu and reasonable price. The best service, most friendly and very experience staff to explain the dish to customer. We really need the place like this in Perth.

The restaurant is in like a house, feels kinda homely and vintage. The food was divine. I had the mushrooms with goats cheese and bread 💯 Friends had the octopus and pork belly, both looked incredible. The only disappointing part was the coffee. It's really hot today so I ordered an ice coffee and it was SO milky ❌

The brunch menu at Cecchi's is deliciously unique, ranging from traditional eggs with toast and muesli to linguine and pork belly dishes. I decided on the mushroom trifolati, goat's cheese and ricotta foam with slow cooked eggs, while my brunch date, the pork belly. Rich, simple and well executed, the food was a pleasure to eat. The courtyard garden makes a lovely setting for a casual meal, and indoors, a little more formal. Service staff were great. I highly recommend.

We went to Cecchi's for brunch and ordered the stuffed zucchini flowers and mushroom dishes, both were delicious and the coffee was also pretty smooth, although a little on the weak side as the cups they use are generous in size.<br/>Second visit, I tried the yoghurt sorbet with fruit and granola which was fantastic.

Really interesting breakfast menu - delightful food and great coffee! <br/><br/>My Pork Belly was cooked to perfection and seasoned well, flavour and texture balanced well with the fried egg. The mustard condiment on the plate compliment the protein.

Wed 1000hrs TOP NOTCH<br/>Had bfast today under the shade of big gnarly olive tree - Pork belly & macchiato.<br/>Pork came with fried egg, brioche crumb, sautéed cabbage, peas & mustardy emulsion on the side - a taste sensation & this is coming from someone who will shamelessly admit finding it nigh on impossible not to try the pork belly wherever I go. <br/>Perfect coffee so I ordered a 2nd just to be sure - confirmed, no fluke. <br/>I only stumbled onto this joint recently when I happened to ride past on my pushbike so do yourselves a favour. Bravo for an early-in-the-day menu where NOT everything is 'on toast' or grain/cereal-based. <br/><br/><br/>

This restaurant is a find. And it is tucked away and unassuming from the street, so you'll need to keep an eye out for it.<br/><br/>The food is well presented and manageable portion sizes of some wonderful, creatively composed menus. <br/><br/>Fine dining without the stuffiness often associated, this is a great option for a romantic night or occasion as well as anytime, for a bit of indulgence that won't make you feel indulgent (if you know what I mean)!<br/><br/>Highly recommended
THE ILLUSIVE FEMME
The new brunch menu is epic! Sweet and savoury options to choose from, the staff are so polite and informative and the decor is so classy yet quirky. Had an amazing brekky with the girls here this morning and it was beyond the beyond. I went with the salmon omelette and the egg white omelette was soft and filled with flavour. The star of the dish though was the seared salmon. It was melt in your mouth and featured a great crust. Perfectly cooked!!! Can't wait to get back for dinner.

Third visit to this restaurant for dinner. Great menu covering all tastes, serving size perfect for enjoying 3 courses. Do Not miss the Ricotta doughnuts. Well thought out, well executed, enjoyed with gusto!Sublime.

There's some good eats for brunch here! The octopus is perfectly cooked, and went very well with the potatoes and blood sausages. Not so much a fan of the kale caesar dressing - that's personal preference. Service is friendly and attentive, and coffee's okay, and portions are a little small. They definitely know flavours. Obviously just started doing brunch and they'll surely find their feet. Wil be back!
PerthfectBreakfast
Probably one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. The restaurant had a cosy vibe but appeared a little fancy. The service we received was excellent (and the waiter/barista is pretty cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee). <br/><br/>The grilled octopus with warm potato salad and morcilla was AMAZING. would-eat-again/10 in a heartbeat! delicate, tender charred occy and the blood sausage was delish. The parsley and fresh lemon really lifted the dish.<br/><br/>The mushrooms with riccotta goats cheese mousse, hazlenuts, slow cooked eggs and toast was also delicious but the ratio was off. the 3 tiny toasts (croutons) were not enough to scoop up all that cheesey goodness. Would've liked more mushies and less mousse. <br/><br/>Steak with thyme hash, fried egg and pepper jam was decent. steak was medium-well but still tender. Wasnt anything special but enjoyed the novelty of ordering steak for breakfast.<br/><br/>Ordered a plain brioche croissant and it was a little dense. I imagine it would be great with the salted caramel icecream though and would soften up a little with the icecream in the middle.<br/><br/>Will most definitely be back. thanks for a memorable meal :)

My husband and I dined here for a Sunday brunch arriving after 11am. We were pleased that we were able to be seated straight away and didn't have to wait around like many other places nearby. I ordered the kale Caesar which was had the most delicious croutons. Such a great brunch that feels like a fine dining experience. Super friendly staff too.

Really disappointed with the service and food. We went with a group of 11 for dinner midweek. The place was not overly busy and yet we still waited an hour and 20 minutes for food with no explanation or apologies. On top of this one of the lady's dinners had been forgotten and came another 20 minutes later. After mentioning this to the staff they advised us that in fact they were short staffed and that this was why the wait had been so long. Honestly if they had mentioned this early on and kept the drinks flowing we all would have been fine with it. However, it took until the end of the night when I mentioned that we had had a terrible night they then offered us $45 off the total bill. $4 a head. The food portions were small and pricey for what was on offer. Not worth the time or effort to eat here again.

Lyvia, Christina and I caught up for brunch at Cecchi's on Sunday morning, after of course being tagged by no one other than Lyvia on Instagram about a week or so ago Being Asian, we're typically like to share our food and that's exactly what we did - we picked 4 dishes to try. The first dish was the Mushroom trifolati, ricotta & goats cheese mousse, slow cooked egg, toast $17.

First time trying out this place and was informed that they recently started doing a breakfast menu. The layout of this place was very clean and minimalistic, with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly which gave an overall pleasant experience. I had the steak while my partner had the pork belly which were both good. The highlight of this place was the salted caramel brioche croissant which was amazing! The outside was crunchy and flakey while the salted caramel icecream was just right, not overly sweet would recommend getting this!
Foodie Cravings
All Cecchi’s breads are made in-house, including gluten free and is included with some meals at no extra cost. I chose the seared salmon, spinach and egg white omelette, with asparagus gremolata and two slices of bread, for $19. The price is reasonable as the portion size is good

Very lovely. Brought my partner here for a romantic birthday dinner. A renovated home with a commercial kitchen still retains a warm and homely vibe. Great niche menu. The main meal portions were a little small even for fine dining I felt. The waitress who worked Tues 13/10 did a beautiful job. Promote that girl. Would recommend this restaurant over and over.

Fantastic place to come for a beautiful meal and fantastic service. The Beef fillet was so tender and cooked to perfection100% recommend Cecchi's to all!! :)

Amazing food😀<br/><br/>Tonight we had the beef fillet and the seafood pasta...absolutely amazing.<br/><br/>Went for my sons birthday and now I <br/>Can't wait to come back

Can't agree with the food ...at the prices expected a whole lot better and the skinny wine list left me as cold , service was excellent for what I thought was an overpriced restaurant ...suggest you could do better cooking at home with a cheaper bottle of wine which we Had that <br/>cost $60.00 without  knowing what it was because it was Italian ..

Absolutely spectacular dined last Tuesday for my dad's birthday and we can't have picked a better place! The goat melted in your mouth the owner/head chef very informative and his lovely wife waited our table. 5stars guys! Thanks for the experience we will definitely be back loved it!!!<br/>

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner and although it started to get a little busy the atmosphere was great. Lovely ambience with dim lighting and the place didn't get too rowdy. Service was impeccable and food was well presented. We ordered gnocchi and ravioli. Gnocchi was nice, light and not as heavy as traditional gnocchi. The ravioli was a little bland and slightly lacking in flavour. Our dessert was the donuts and flourless orange cake. Donuts a little too sweet but the orange cake was perfect and was my favourite dish. Overall, we felt that the food is a little expensive but was an enjoyable visit.

Superb throughout. So much that I was struggling for compliments by the end.<br/>We shared the Lamb Ribs with Carrot Puree, the wife had the Quail and I had the Beef cheeks for mains, finishing with the Ricotta Donuts for dessert.<br/>The Lamb Ribs were very tender, falling of the bone very easily, with the Carrot Puree making for a great flavour combination.<br/>The Quail was perfectly cooked, very tender and moist, as were the Beef Cheeks. The Ricotta donuts surprised us the most though, with a great combination of flavours again, which was true of every dish we had.<br/>They have a good collection of wine too, and you don't have to worry about choosing, the hostess' suggestion worked for us.<br/><br/>From the first bite to the very end, the only word that kept coming out of my mouth was 'Wow!'. I even liked the Brussels Sprouts that came with the ribs!<br/>The ambiance is more like a Dining room rather than a restaurant, very homely and warm. And given the location, it was nice and quiet too. The hostess was very welcoming too, right from the beginning and very helpful with suggestions.<br/>All in all, this made for a lovely evening, with some of the best food I have had in Perth, we will definitely be going back many, many times.

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience here tonight. We've been once before and loved it, but tonight we waited nearly 50mins for our entree. When we asked where it was we were told they'd had a computer glitch with our order ticket, they were apologetic and the mains were lovely but one of our entrees, the pork croquettes were tasteless. We mentioned it to the waiter and they confirmed with the chef who tasted it that there was spice and salt missing. In good faith, they took this off the bill. Unfortunately when we left, I mentioned the long wait for entree and that we were extremely disappointed, the owner said how sorry she was but I was shocked there was no offer to make up for it, i.e. one of our drinks being on the house. I mentioned this to which she responded, I'd normally offer a complimentary dessert but you were leaving before I got to offer it!?! Seriously? If your customer was leaving and you were going to offer that, wouldn't you just offer something else in return?! And how much really is two drinks to have a happy customer when they leave?? I was really hoping this was going to be our regular local, but after that service (which was more disappointing than the wait) we won't be back!! Service really lacks these days!

Amazing food, friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable wait staff. Couldn't ask for more in a small setting restaurant.<br/><br/>Had the beef cheeks and the girlfriend had the pork belly. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. <br/><br/>I would suggest going to Cecchi's for couples, first dates, or small groups. It's small and cosy, which makes for an intimate dining experience.

Food was amazing, very well presented and absolutely delicious! The service was impeccable and the dessert OMG! The donuts are a must order, so make sure you leave room for them, you will not be disappointed!

I booked a table for 4 on a quiet week night and we had the pick of the tables when we arrived, with just one other table dining with us that night. I was really impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant, it's classy and intimate. The service was outstanding with just one person running the show, he did a great job of taking our orders and looking after us without hovering and making us feeling rushed. <br/>The wine list is limited, with no SSB on offer which was a shame. The food was really tasty and serving sizes were quite generous, I'd read from other reviews the sizes were small so we each ordered a small plate, entree and main and I was way too full to finish or be tempted by the desserts after the meal! A few small plates to share would've been a better idea. I had the croquettes, quail and fish, the quail was the stand out of the night a real quality dish.<br/>It worked out at about $100 pp which is expensive but for a special occasion, it was worth it.

So the food was yum, although we kind of expected a bit more be for the price. The atmosphere of the place was really nice and the staff were very welcoming.

Aammazzing. Cecchis is my go to place when impressing the ladies, elegant but warm and welcoming, service is 10/10, the food is always top notch, this time i had qauil for entree and all i can say is wow, deboned and re rolled and cooked to perfection. We spent more time on our date talking about the restaurant then anything else, i highly recomend Cecchis to everyone. I forsee big things from this place especialy when i found out thats its owned buy the youngest restauranter in perth.

Love it. Recently went to Cecchi's, have never been before and was pleasantly surprised. The food, though quite small in serving size, was delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone on the table enjoyed their meals, the staff were polite and attentive. I also love the cosiness and general ambience . Definitely would recommend it to others and I would go back again.

Amazing food and service!. I rang up to make a booking for an anniversary dinner and the lady asked if i would like a special occasion 5 course tasting menu! (of course i said yes). We had smoked mussels, fried chicken, sausage linguini, quail, barramundi, beef cheek and a peanut butter dessert! All of it was so well cooked and absolutely delicious. We had a few cocktails (the gin, tonic and grapefruit one was my favourite!) and a beautiful bottle of Italian red wine. The fact that they offered us a special menu just made the night even better! Highly recommend.

We must have gone on an off night. <br/>Friends and family rate this place very highly. Really nice setting. Ambient. Excellent service. <br/>Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. I ordered beef shin. It was very fatty and very small for the $41 price. <br/>I also ordered roast potatoes. They were hard and under cooked. <br/>My partner ordered fish. Tiny portion, which wasn't hot, only lukewarm. <br/>We had two drinks and a bottle of wine. Total cost of $200 was overpriced and not value for money. <br/>Again, maybe we were unlucky, given the rating the restaurant enjoys. However, I expect more for the money I spent. I could have enjoyed greater value at half the price elsewhere.

Yummy and awesome staff. Fish of the day which was crispy skin Barra is <br/>a m a z i n g! ! ! ! Yum. Our table of four had outstanding meals. Definitely be back. Front of house staff are also very warm, welcoming and helpful. <br/>Highly recommended. Yum yummy yum! :)<br/>Servings are fairly small but every ingredient shines.

The serves portions are far too small. <br/>Left hungry and caught a pizza on the way home.

Rarely do I 'gush' about a restaurant but this is an exception. I'm not going to go into detail of each dish, suffice to say it was all equally superb. The owner/chef, Mr Cecchi, was the perfect host and made the experience so much more. The decor is lovely. The feel was ambient and romantic. This is a hidden gem and must be sampled regularly.<br/><br/><br/>-----26 Mar, 2015-----<br/><br/>Panacotta. Sublime

Overpriced, degustation-sized food. Things started badly, when we were told that the information on UrbanSpoon, saying that Ceechi's was still BYO, was incorrect. Tuesday's only, apparently. <br/>So, a bottle of wine was ordered. The cheapest being $45. Beers were $9-10 each. <br/>The entrées were quite good, so no problem there. <br/>On to "Main courses". Well, there wasn't a lot of "main" in those courses. <br/>We had lamb saddle, which was chewy & tough The chefs special, which was ravioli, stuffed with ricotta + two prawns. My wife & I had pasta with indistinguishable pieces of seafood. This was minuscule & severely lacking in seasoning. There was no salt on the table & we weren't offered any pepper by the waiter. Being fed up at this point, I didn't bother to ask for any. <br/>Thie pasta was the waiters favourite dish, apparently. He obviously needs to get out more. It could possibly rate as the worst pasta dish we've ever had, and we've had lots. <br/>I can't quite remember the exact prices, but there wasn't much change from $40 per main course. <br/>The total bill, was a smidgen under $300 & we didn't bother with dessert or coffee. <br/>Oh, and it was quite noisy. <br/>Definitely won't be going again.

If you're looking for expensive, degustation-sized main courses, this is the place to go to. The four of us went to "Ceechi's" last week. We won't be going again. <br/>It started badly, when we were told it was not BYO on Thursday night, after looking on UrbanSpoon, which said that it was. Apparently, it is only Tuesday's. Obviously, several other customers had been caught out. The waiter went into his spiel, saying that this information was incorrect. <br/>So, drinks. The cheapest wine was $45/bottle & the beer was, $9/10 a bottle. <br/>The starters were quite good.<br/>Main courses (Main???). We had saddle of lamb, Chefs special, which was Ravioli stuffed with Ricotta & two prawns my wife & I had degustation-sized pasta, with indistinguishable seafood, which was cut into very small pieces. It needed seasoning, but we weren't offered any pepper and there was no salt on the table. I was so pissed off at this time, I didn't bother to ask. <br/>When I ordered the pasta dish, the waiter said that it was his favourite dish. I think he needs to get out more. That pasta dish, could possibly be the worst pasta dish I've ever had. <br/>I forget the exact prices of the "main courses", but there wasn't much change out of $40 per dish. <br/>Total bill. A smidge under $300 & we didn't have desert, or coffee<br/>Definitely won't be going again. <br/>Oh, and it was noisey was hell.

Amazing!!. Cecchi's is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been too. The menu changes regularly but never disappoints! The food is amazing and the staff/family that run the restaurant are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is so well laid out and the courtyard out the front is amazing. Prices are a little higher than other restaurants in the area but...........you get what you pay for. The only negative that i have is that the portion sizes could be a little larger.
Macca-San
Really enjoyed our meal. It's true that portions are on the small side but this is the type of place where you have entree main and dessert and so for me portions are just right or there would be no room to try all courses. Service was attentive and friendly and the food delicious. A small menu but done well which is all you can ask. Would happily come back.
