Review Inglewood Inn - Inglewood

Food today was disgusting, not sure if you have changed Chef or not? If so get the old one back!. The chicken parmigiana tasted like something you would buy frozen at the supermarket, not to mention the sharp bone that was in the fillet!! The side salad looked like it was placed there just to fill a spot on the plate. A couple of months ago the dish came with a beautiful 1/4 of lettuce drizzled with a vinegar like dressing. The cheese today was only just allowed to melt before serving. I've added a photo taken during the last visit so you can see the difference. The other dish was a steak, this too was disgusting, the meat looked like the cheapest budget cut you could get. Was served sliced, which means it was sliced while it was cooked!! Who does this? This allows all of the juice to escape whilst cooking. Last time was a nice piece of char grilled steak! All up, just over $80 including two glasses of Coca-Cola which were probably the best tasting part of the meal. The staff also acted like they just didn't want to be there and that it was a chore. Sorry Inglewood Inn, this was our third visit and will definitely be the last.

Had lunch on Saturday at the Inglewood Inn. Food was amazing I had the steak sanga which was tasty, meat was tender and flavour was on point. Great selection of craft beers and SA distilled gins. Will be back 👌🏻

I visited today with a group of friends for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the setting, amazing fire, clean, welcoming dining area. The meals were delicious and ranged from $23-$28 for what we ordered. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back- it was hard to leave the amazing view on a winters afternoon.

Perfect setting in terms of view, ambience, quality of food & service personnel. But speed of food service could be improved. The restaurant was only 60% full, but we waited 30 - 35 mins for our mains.

Absolutely beautiful all round! The food was delicious, served quickly and a large serve. The staff were very friendly and the gardens, seating outdoors and the beautiful old building were all wonderful. We will definitely be back! Oh and there were very interesting drinks on the menu too!

Lunch in this amazing 1857 building, overlooking green hills with sheep entertaining us. What a lovely place. We were warmly welcomed and the staff are great. Try their house made gin menu & enjoy the food. Totally recommend the mushroom gnocci!! Thanks Inglewood Inn for making my sister's birthday lunch so special. Sorry I didn't take any photos!

We had our wedding at the Inglewood in June last year...and honestly could not give enough praise! The food, atmosphere and amazing staff absolutely made our night! Candlelight. .wine...fun and romance ♡♥♡ just perfect!

Great atmosphere, decent prices & excellent food. After years of driving past, finally dropped in to check it out. Very happy. Will definitely be going back.

Please ignore preview review with 2 stars not sure what happened there. This place is fantastic. Great tasty meals. Our young son knocked his drink over and it was not a bother. Quickly cleaned up with a friendly smile while helping up comfort a 3 year old and then without asking they got him another drink. View awesome cant wait to go back again
