Review Punjab Indian Restaurant - Innaloo

Jessamine Lawrie
Madras prawns were really good however the two butter chicken we received were abysmal. Each dish would have only had one thighs' worth of chicken and was mainly just full of sauce. Both dishes for a total of $50. Won't be going back

Great restaurant definitely be back again. Good selection of food and very tasty. small but good wine list with cocktails and spirits also. (Saturday no BYO but available other nights). Very friendly staff who couldn’t help enough. Nice ambience, clean, relaxing background music not overpowering. Wish we lived a bit closer for a takeaway ! ;)

I am not an expert in Indian cuisine, but this place has good food, and good portion too! Good prices! Didn't have the chance to take a photo of the main menu, I suggest the owner to upload the menu here on google page. Plenty of selection! The service is superb, from the start to the end! My only complaint is the bottle of Voss water: $8!!!!!!!! Next time I'll go for the tap😅

Special place for a special moment! Celebrated today, my fiancee's birthday! Thank you to all staffs for making this moment special amidst this pandemic! Special thanks to Supervisor 'Saas'. 🙏🥰🎂🎉🥂

We ordered kadhai paneer and tandoori roti to go and I must say the food was absolutely disgusting. All we could taste was overloaded raw masalas with no salt. Maybe a great place for people who have no clue about Indian food.

We haven't been to the Punjabi for a few months, food is awesome service is very good. Its so nice to go to a restaurant that has such lovely decor and white table clothes.

Use to be one of my fav restaurants but this is experience has made it my last time .
The curry had no flavour. The wait staff was not even bothered and extremely rude . A pathetic experience

Honestly cannot get much better than this place.

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic - lovely staff, great service, amazing food.

I’ve been here quite a few times, both seated dining and take away and I’ve never had an issue with it - it is slightly expensive but it is really worth it, 100% recommend.

We are sorry to give such a low rating but we went there last night and the food was below average and expensive. We have been many times before and the food was authentic, good quality and full of original spices. This time the Koftas were swimming in gravy with no spice and tasted as if they had been defrosted and plonked in dish. Chicken Korma had a few pieces of poor quality chicken and no spice. The whole meal was bland with little flavour. We really hope it improves as the staff are very polite and the restaurant spotless clean. We also ordered a starter platter which was ok
Entrée:

Chickpea Chips

Paneer Tikka

Tandoori Salad

Garden Salad

Harabhara Kebab

Salt Lassi

Mains:

Dhal Punjabi

Malai Kofta

Methi Palak Paneer

Plain Naan

Roti

Garlic Naan

Jeera Rice

Pros:

- As it is an Indian restaurant, there are many vegetarian options to choose from.

- Most of the entrees were delicious and in particular, we loved the Chickpea Chips which are special to this restaurant and is not a traditional Indian entrée.

- Plenty of parking available.

Cons:

- The Harabhara kebab in the entrees wasn’t that great and wouldn’t recommend ordering this. Other restaurants do this better.

- The mains were sub-par and there wasn’t a single curry that we would recommend ordering again.

- It is a little overpriced for the food we get.

- The restaurant is quite far away for those of us that live south of the river.

By far, one of the best Indian restaurant in Perth.
Every single dish has a unique authentic taste. Nice and very well balanced spices.
I don't usually order Indian sweets, but the saffron kolfi is outstanding.
I visited the restaurant 2 time in one week.

Bad experience second time. No consistency in food taste. During our first experience food was really good. We decided to visit place again and we struggle to eat our food. Our both mains Curry’s taste was really bad. Won’t be visiting again.

A lovely discovery to find! Unsuspecting from the main road, the interior, decor, service and food was fantastic. A great stop off before the movies. The poppadoms came with nice condiments and the rogan josh was delicious.

Lovely atmosphere. Staff was excellent, very attentive and polite. Food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. I am keen to come back and try some more dishes.

Came for late dinner in Punjab, and really loved it.
The decoration of Punjab is very nicely done, with soft lights and open kitchen. All waiters in beautiful Indian style dresses, soft music and very romantic style.
I took GOAT BIRYANI for AUD 22,00, and it was an excellent choice. Mildly spices, rich in flavors, very moist and full of juicy pieces of goat. Extremely enjoyable. I loved the choice of spices, very balanced and overwhelming. I accompanied it with MANGO LASSI which was definitely one of the best lassis I tried in Perth. Not too sweet and yummy.
My son took a LAMB MADRAS, available in medium or hot, cooked in a sour sauce with a delicate blend of authentic spices, dried coconut and mustard seeds. which was excellent, accompanied by a a crispy butter naan.
The NAANS are amazingly crispy and delicious!
I definitely RECOMMEND this restaurant, the portions are VERY GENEROUS, the service is kind and professional. So satisfied. They are opened mostly for dinners and on Fridays serve lunches, as well. See the menu on their website (take away is available).
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL TASTE OF PUNJABI CUISINE!!!

Beef badami, beef vindaloo, garlic naan always amazingly good. My go to for winter chills and the best remedy for a flu!
Food is consistently good. I ordered online with their delivery option and our meal arrived at our door at the appointed time by a lovely guy who was friendly and happy! 🙏
Laura
Just ordered this on Uber, paid $60 which isn’t cheap and it was probably the worst Indian I’ve eaten. Butter chicken wasn’t like the usual taste you get as butter chicken in a restaurant, samosas were $11 and very average. Very disappointed with the food, Won’t be getting food from there again unfortunately.
BM
Great takeaway. All dishes were really tasty and we had no beef but no one cared as it was all so nice. Palak Paneer, potato, chicken. All delicious.

Was a guest of an Indian colleague and friend and was immediately blown away by the stylish decor, with tablecloths and pleasant and well dressed staff. I let my friend order and was most impressed at the quality of the food and service. I think I have finally experienced some authentic Indian cuisine in Perth. Highly recommended and will most certainly be returning soon.
India Stone
A high quality Indian restaurant with absolutely amazing food. The service is amazing and the environment is nice and relaxed and is a good space for a family dinner.

I am not going back there ever in my life. Seriously, the worst food experience ( Indian ) I have ever had. Moreover, I had to wait 20 minutes after we finished our entrée. Really bad experience, I would've given 0.5 but I can't so I give 1.0

May be you guys should "keep calm and serve your food properly"

I went with a group of people and we ordered a variety of vegan/vegetarian and meat dishes to share. The butter chicken was my absolute favourite. Unreal!!! I have a slight obsession with rice and it was cooked to perfection (this alone can make or break a place for me). The staff was friendly and so helpful. The wine that the barman suggested to go with the food was so good I wrote down the name of the bottle. I can't complain. I would highly recommend this place. I had a great time.
Cheryl Gambrill
Expensive - $100 for 2 people and there wasn't any food over. Also I think they must use lots additives in their cooking as both my husband and I were up all night with our minds racing, this only happens to us when we have had food containing lots of artificial ingredients/flavorings. Actual food to eat was good, venue and service were excellent but we will avoid in future.
Bettyhadditch
Friendly and efficient service although the food it self is not that great. The dishes were watery and don't have much flavour - I couldn't taste any of the spices.
Nins Oh
Awesome Indian restaurant. With so many in this area, they come out on top. We regularly get takeaway (their online take away ordering is great and the estimated time is always correct). Although they aren't "cheap" but who is these days, and you get decent portions with plenty of meat and veges.
Paul Kamarudin
Went with a few friends for a curry - was not disappointed. Great location. Awesome meal and nice broad selection. Will definitely be back.

I've been coming here over the past 3 years, consistently great service and food. I usually order the lamb korma with a butter naan, my vegan boyfriend has the aloo bhazi (potato curry) with a rotti bread. Highly recommend these two dishes, great flavours and plenty of meat/potatoes. Punjab easily beats any other Indian available in Perth.
Marina Antich
For best Indian in Perth go to Punjab
Very delicious , my fave is butter chicken -cooked to perfection always !
Great menu
Excellent service with a smile
I highly recommend this restaurant for fine in or takeaway
Luke
Joined just to write review. I have been coming here for many years. It used to be well priced and large serves. The last couple of times have been a let down. Half filled takeaway containers. Lamb rogan josh had 5 small pieces of lamb and the rest gravy. Its not like it used to be. The portions are way to small for the price. Wont be returning.
Mahalia Aiyana
was going to put 3 stars but the very friendly service and smiles from the waitstaff made me tip it just that little bit higher. I expected a tiny but more from the food as i was recommended by one of my friends that is indian. Still good though. and lovely service again!
Some Like It Hot
Ok so I had the starter of poppadum and they were nice, came with a mint dip and tamarind dip. I asked for the onion salad too. The mint dip wasn't the best I've had, didn't like the tamarind dip but that's just my taste. The other starters looked nice enough. I ordered the prawn jalfrezi which was not nice, was very mild and the prawns didn't seem right. I left most of it. The peshwari naan was very average. The venue itself and the service was good though.
Meghana Mangatt
Been here once! I found this to be a good restaurant with nice ambience and friendly staff. The food was also tasty and well presented.
On the downside, i thought the food portion size was smaller and found it to be a bit pricy compared to other Indian restaurants.
Janice
Enjoyed the fine dining and service. It's nice to be back here and dining in Stirling. We tried something different! The chicken madras (medium hot), which hit the spot and mattar mushrooms (mild).
Dinnertime
What a bummer!!
I've eaten here twice and it's been delicious.
Tonight I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it's almost too salty to eat! It doesn't even taste like curry, just salt. And the garlic naan is soggy and undercooked.
Yucky. What a shame - $32 dollars later....
We came here after our abandoned meal at Kailis (Trigg). I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but this place is just first rate. The decor is beautiful, with sumptuous silk on the walls. The staff are always perfectly turned out & the service is really impeccable.
We had popadoms (I highly recommend you try the mango chutney), the starter platter for two, and then hubby had a prawn dish & I had the starter size chicken muglai (yoghurt & spices). Their wine list is quite reasonably priced & it was all really very nice indeed.
Highly recommended.
Sanjeev Garg
Ridicolous food. Went there today had garlic naan, palak paneer and kofta. Both were just tasteless. Naans were just burned outside and half cooked inside. Service was too slow. no one came to ask us if want more naan. Wife feeling bloated after had dinner there. No going there again.

There are 5 Indian restaurants in very close proximity to each other in Innaloo. Each have their signature dishes and after 15+ years frequenting 4 of these restaurants, it's easy to differentiate between them.

For takeaways, Punjab is ranked #1 for me. The usual order is bindi masala, lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, 2 pulao rice, 1 plain naan and tomato/onion salad. At the moment, online ordering knocks 10% off the bill which is a good saving.

Punjab is comfort food and for me, consistency and flavour is everything when it comes to Indian cuisine. I know the dishes will taste the same each time with the only deviation being the size of the meat chunks lol.
Nikki Levitt
holy monosodium glutamate! we ate here a few days ago, and the restaurant is lovely, the staff is great and service impeccable...but out of 6 of us, 4 were up all night with the worst MSG reactions ever! it was also verrrry expensive for small sized portions...averaging about 25 dollars for little tiny bowls of meat in sauce. We had 6 dishes, and whilst all were different meats and sauces, tasted quite similar. The service and amazing staff dont make up for the sickness we all felt and the cost.
Lisa B
absolutely amazing. food was wonderful and the atmosphere was gorgeous. great staff who were super attentive and friendly. was not disappointed at all and will definitely be back soon.
Lizster436
Immaculate service. Beautiful ambience. Indian dining on the posher side. Naan was yummy (not the best I've ever had though). Butter Chicken was really good. Salak Paneer was too salty for my liking. It was great, a bit on the pricy side though. I've had other indian in the area just as good and cheaper (however the ambience and class has not been as nice as Punjab).
Wally
Had take away from here at least 30 times over the years. Very very good almost all of the time. Can be expensive like other Indian restaurants, but quality is quite consistent.
Khan
No.1 restaurant. Curries and naans everything yummy.great portion. Pleasant atmosphere. Ordered goat curry which was really indian style . satisfied.
LifestyleByLily
This is my number 1 for an Indian in the Stirling area.
The food is amazing with generous portion size. The menu is vast offering many dishes and choices of meat.
It is a little expensive but worth treating yourself to!
Muhammad Zahid
We were there today. The Service was good except the lake of knowledge about Indian or Pakistani Customers that what they like and dont like. We ordered Peshawari Naan, Raita and chutani they were very sweet in taste which nice for Aussie and European Customers but Asian people from India, Pakistan and other smellier country. You guys should let theme know about these kind of changes bcz we asian dont like sweet in curries or Naans.
Sally.carlin
Really good Indian!. Friendly and efficient service, delicious food and reasonable prices. I'd definitely recommend it!
Mandy.marincic
Wow!!. Hands down quickest service I have ever had within a restaurant and the most amazing dishes!! Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish!
Oldcassettetapes
Delicious - full of spices. We used to live closer and loved take-away from here. We found ourselves nearby last night and ordered take-away again for the drive back home (an 1hr away)

Food is still good! You can taste all the spices compared to local indian restaurants arounds our way. Such a difference, yum.

Very pricey for such bland food. Won't be found back
Facebook User
Absolutely Fantastic. 5/5 experience great service great foob good price. Indian food is realtive expensive but we ate 2 people with just water x2 main and x2 naans for 66$ we will be back again and if your windering GREAT TAKE AWAY

Why so many top reviews?. Aside from excellent service, the food is dismal and lacking flavour. We came here based on the high percentage ratings by many diners but left feeling a bit robbed to be honest. Starters & mains that are grossly over priced. We were visiting from Melbourne and eat at a wide variety of Indian Restaurants for literally half the price, locally. This food was bland, had no heat (even in the Vindaloo after asking for it to made extra hot) and was very disappointing. Perth price gauging strikes once again!!
I feel let down for the many punters who've been here and think this is top notch, seriously you need to get out more!
Sam Stacy
Pleasantly surprised!. Driving around taking a quick gander at all the nearby Indian restaurants, decided to go with Punjabi and it was the bomb! My girlfriend got butter chicken and I went for the Rogan Josh (the usual combination). As I am quite aware of these dishes it was good to compare with the like at other Indian places I have eaten at. The butter chicken was creamy (just about too much in my opinion) and delicious. Rogan Josh was the best I've had so far. The garlic naan was also the best naan I've had. The design inside was fantastic, great staff and food here.

Beautiful food, professional service, nice decor, good background music, simply cannot fault it. A good evening out :)
Navid Aghaie
Navid. Went there last night with friend and I have to say the dish we ordered "butter chicken" was horrible and chicken was way too off & smelly and the butter chicken souse was out of jar wether from Coles or Woolworth! million percent guaranteed! Never ever again
B.carl46
Good food. I visit punjab last night i must say i am impressed with hariyali tikka and naan bread and desert was also nice which was gulab jamun..just fabulous food love it
Laura Styles
Best indian in perth !!! I love the lamb saag and beef masala. Soooo tasty!!!!
Becca_forsyth
Not impressed!. I went to this restaurant tonight with a friend and was extremely disappointed. Waited 45mins for food to arrive. Starter was dry and bland. We ordered chicken korma which had no taste at all and the butter chicken was full of grisle and chewy. The service was slow and the waiters were not particularly friendly. To make it worse the food is overpriced, i dont mind paying more if the food tastes good! Not the case here. AVOID
FOODIE
Saucey. Have been coming to Punjab for years but I have noticed that the meals have become very saucy and salty.
I don't mind paying for good food but six pieces of chicken is a dish is a little cheeky.
GrandDesigner
Definitely the taste worth travelling for!. Several years ago we lived in the area and this was always our regular family restaurant. When we moved almost an hour away we still came back. Now that we are back in the area we can't resist coming down. The customer service and quality of our orders are always to the highest standards whether we are dining in or taking away. In my 5 years of coming to Punjab, I haven't found anything better.
Thomas Dooley
After living in the UK for over ten years I am used to a good curry. Punjab certainly lived up to its reputation. The butter chicken is the best I have ever had. They obviously use very good quality spices. The chefs have a very good understanding of how to use the spices, as the dishes have some heat but all the flavours are incredibly well balanced. Like took my wife there for our anniversary. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a chicken tandoor entree that was bursting with flavour, the butter chicken, lamb rogan, rice, the best peshwari naan ever, pickles and 2 beers for under $100. Definitely worth it. I have spent the same amount at other restaurants in perth on some very mediocre food. We will be back.
Tamasyn Bryce
Good food, good service but what did you do to the butter chicken??. My husband and I have been going to Punjab for years. We love it and sing its praises all over the place. Great food and first class service!

The butter chicken had always been a favourite but on our most recent trip its magical formula had clearly been altered. It was darker in colour and tasted like Campbell's tomato soup concentrate. Such disappointment! Please go back to your old recipe!!
BasilandSybil
Fine Dining. We went to the Punjab, not our first visit there, a table of six for a birthday celebration. We decided to have a banquet meal; this had a selection of entrees, followed by six curries - chicken madras, butter chicken, beef masala, lamb rogan josh, chicken korma and vegetable curry; these you can chose or stick to those on the menu. Accompanied with indian breads, rice, poppadoms and condiments. We all thoroughly enjoyed the dishes and we think the lamb probably was the overall favourite. On arrival we had a warm welcome from the owner/maitre de, we had great top service all night and would highly recommend the Punjab Indian Restaurant. We shall definitely go again.
Ruhi
Bad food and rude staff. We have just been there.. Disgusting food.. How can they call themselves punjab.. Don't even know how to cook paneer tikka no flavor no vegetables just paneer nd salt.. Nd onion bhaji without onions just d flour.. I cook better then dis.. I wasted my money it was my friend birthday nd I told him to go punjab but such a shamem..
Lisar71
Butter Chicken. I have loved Punjab's butter chicken for years, and I agree it usually is worth travelling for.

But tonight I ordered their butter chicken and they seemed to have changed the recipe. The sauce is alot darker than before, and quite a completely different taste. Shame as I didn't enjoy it as much.

If something wasn't broken, why fix it?
Fiona
Amazing service and food at a reasonable price. Loved this restaurant and it definitely exceeded my expectations
Victoria Mulroney
The most authentic and delicious Indian/Punjab food around. I've never had a bad experience in all the years I have been going there! Just fabulous
Ck
No respect for customers. They gave us the wrong meal and then refused to refund the price. They only offered to credit the part of the meal that was wrong. Also, the food has been getting way too salty in recent months. But it's the complete lack of customer service that disgusts me. We are vegetarians, so couldn't eat the meal they gave us. Also, it was a 20 minute drive (each way), and they expected us to give up another 40 minutes of our night to get a replacement. No respect for the customer at all.
Ttnn
Best indian in perth!. Food was fantastic! the saffron rice was cooked to perfection and lovingly fragrant. service was exceptional. will definitely come back as the ambience was great!

ps. try the mango lassi
Mario.schunck
Don't go anywhere else for a curry. After a great night of good service and the most awesome curry I can strongly recommended the Punjab, yeah you might pay a little more but you get what you pay for and the servings a quite big.The somosas were to die for. I'll be going back soon. Keep calm and curry on!
Debbie Cousins
Celebrated by birthday with my husband here last night. The staff and the service overall are exceptional. Extremely professional, helpful and attentive. The entrees are huge and for the ladies, one between two people would be enough. We had the onion bhazis and the sheesh kebabs. Both were very tasty and filling. For mains we had the chicken tikka masala and prawn malai korma. Both were wonderfully sweet, creamy and decadent. Outstanding! They offered to pack up the leftovers so we are lucky enough to be having again tonight! The restaurant decor is very pleasing to the eye, very clean, fresh and inviting. Well done to management and staff, you have a winner here!

Oh, and we are not sure why, but when we paid we were given a gift (they didn't know it was my birthday!) ..... a lovely Punjab Restaurant mug in a display tin. Thank you very much.
Sassybella17
Best Service Ever Experienced!. This place was wonderful. I couldn't believe how good the service was, our water glasses were filled up everytime without us having to say anything. The food was great and very filling. I wouldn't expect to find such a classy restuarant where it is but it's definitely the gem among the rocks.
FoodAddict.
The best in Perth!. This is probably the best Indian restaurant in Perth. I often dine here with my father - a fellow curry lover. The decor is modern and classy but keeps with the indian theme. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and knowledgable about the menu, they also have a keen eye and keep your water glasses full all night - I love this! Now to the food, serving sizes are decent - though I guess that's upto the diner, I can usually only eat about half, but my dad can wolf down a whole serving (though he does feel rather full after). The curries are delicious, as a vegetarian I have tried most of their vegetable curries and my favourite is the Malai Kofta, the koftas themselves have great flavour and texture but the curry itself is delicious (I'm told it tastes similar to butter chicken), creamy and rich, complimenting the koftas. My other favourites are the Bhindi Masala and Chola Masala.
I'd also recommend spending that extra dollar and getting the pulao rice, it's brightly coloured with saffron (looks a little like candy corn haha).
As for the naans, they are well done, I've had the plain, butter, chili and peshwari naan and they are all really good and fluffy.
I can usually only eat half my curry and half my naan, and the staff happily pack it up for you (yummy lunch/dinner for the next day!).
I love the venue, I love the food and I love the service.
Emma
Went here a couple of weeks ago for a meal with my boyfriend. Could not fault one thing about this restaurant, the service was amazing, staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.
I would definately recommend to any of my friends and will certainly be back :)
FoodLover
Yum. Loved the decore of this place and how helpful the staff were. Food was yummy. A bit pricey but worth it. Will be back!
Cassandra
Good food... Excellent friendly service... Try the carrot halwa as a dessert.. It's delicious!!!
Brigit
Best Indian food in Perth, by far, with an amazing range of vegetarian dishes. Lovely service, too. Well worth going out of your way for.
Katiemeow
Has great service & great food. Managed to book a table very late on a whim (3 hrs prior) & they fit us in. Food delicious & staff very attentive & pleasant. Pretty surroundings, have never been disappointed here
Adria
Always great service. Each and every time I go here I am reminded that there is good service in Perth if you know where to look.
Food is above average quality and although it's not enough to knock your socks off, what is lacking is definitely made up for by their attentive service, attention to detail and large servings.
Looking forward to the next time I roll out of Punjab!
Raymond J
Gold Class Standard. First time at the Punjab just had to share my wonderful experience, needless to say we were blown away!
Started with the platter, absolutely amazing. Followed by two perfect curries. The best i've had since I was in the UK. Beautiful decor & absolutely faultless staff. This high level of service is hard to come by these days, and especially in Perth

I'm glad to have found this little gem, we will most certainly be back and in greater numbers
Niki Van Syl
Good evening everyone, I just wanted everyone to know disappointed I was with the customer service I had today on the the phone I called up to book a table for 8 people at Punjab only to find out the the man that answered the phone cleared didn't speak English and was very rude obviously and wasn't happy to be there. I will not be going to this Indian restaurant and won't recommend it to other on the customer services. Thanks

Catchup with friends. This is where my wonderful husband got on bended knee to propose to me 10 years ago - was wondering why he had drunk 2 whiskey's quite quickly. Didn't go back until 2005 and it was just a run of the mill Indian restaurant.
Dined there last night with my husband a some work colleagues. What a pleasant surprise. Plush new décor, soft background music and even though it was busy it wasn't noisy.
Service attention excellent, water glass topped up continuously as well as our wine glasses. Excellent menu for all tastes. Entrees god portions as were main courses. Breads, condiments complimented all our dishes. Waiter was exceptionally helpful.
Finally and most importantly for me - I am a cleanliness freak - the washroom facilities were beautifully decorated, well stocked and exceptionally clean. 100% improvement since our last visit. Have recently been to a few Indian cuisine restaurants and this is the top of our list now.;. .
Marimo
They have so nice atmosphere, service and awesome Indian cuisine. I wanna try another curry!!
Actually, I forgot the name of curry, but potato dumpling was good.
I'd like to try more spicy one next time!
Dined here frequently until we needed a change, have never been let down, great to dine in.will go back.

Have been a few times. The food was amazing! Service top class! Defiantly going back!!
Eyes On Perth
New to the area and craved an Indian do chose this place out of the three or four Indians nearby. Got a take away of chicken tikka masala (very nice, smoky tandoori flavour), lamb rogan josh (tender lamb but very salty, couldn't eat much), steamed rice and garlic naan (good bread but needed more flavour). Both dishes had a layer of oil floating on top. All in all it was just nice, but not good enough for me to run back.
Scooter
First time at Punjab last night;

Excellent service. The staff are exceptionally well trained and attentive. It's a really nice change from the norm.

The food was delicious. We had the share plate, lamb rogan josh, butter chicken and garlic nahn. We had the safron ice cream with pistacios for desert. Washed down with two beers each it came to $60/head. It was a little expensive but I really enjoyed it!
SG12
Always remember that bad things. OK - probably one of the beter indian restaurants in Perth (last there 2 years ago though), butter chicken, seekh kebabs etc all very tasty. I once bought butter chicken takeway and there was a piece of plastic (like plastic from the fruit and veg bags) about 10cm by 3cm in the dish. They didnt take it very serious when i complained so didnt go back unfortunately (held a grudge you could say).
Pool Man
Went to the Punjab for the third time tonight with 8 work mates and it was just magic. The staff great always filling up water and beer was there when glass was empty.

Starters much better than the last twice I have been there full of flavour and great portion size. All the mains first class and everyone loved there dish naans went down a treat.

We will be back soon well done the Punjab best service I have had in Perth n 6 years.
Imogen Seyfert
Really Tasty Takeaway. Really nice, good, honest food with very friendly staff and generous portions. Reasonably priced for Perth. Very clean inside with a classy atmosphere. Looking forward to eating here again. The garlic naan bread was excellent, and the vegetable curry was lovely and fresh and full of flavor.

Indian all round!. Love this place!!! love how they have renovated the interior maybe need to think about the exterior for the future. But the food is fabulous and the staff, love their uniforms. The prices are rather high, not surprised for an indian restaurant.
Cat
Love this place! Have eaten indian at least 5 places in perth and this my fave. never had better malai kofta and after at least 10 in-restaurant experiences and take away meals, have never had bad service or food. Highly recommended.
Mel Chambers
Fantastic. Sublime food - the best indian in Perth by far - butter chicken and naan are yummo!
Ryan IGrayman Gray
Haven't found an Indian that can do a better butter chicken!

Another fantastic meal at the Punjab. Food is great and service is right on the ball all night long. Don't miss this place. 100% tonight :-)
Milli Patterson
DELICIOUS. I had sunday dinner as a treat with my boyfriend. White table cloths , beautiful indian waiters and yummy food.
I really enjoy going out for dinner when I know it would be impossible for me to create those kind of flavours at home.

I've been here numerous times and have not had a bad meal here at all. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The food is well prepared, tasty with the right balance of spices and the serves are a good size. I'll be going back for sure.

Yummulicious... Difficult to secure a place on weekends. Yet, worth the wait, so recommended. Thumbs up for the ambiance, beautifully decorated, serene glassy look. The menu is something that you want to pounce upon. Great Palatable starters. On the main course I loved the malai kofta. The best thing they know how much is low, medium and high spicy for people from different cultures. The amount which comes in for one order is satiable. You might end up carrying home your left overs. Yummy, delicious and worth paying whatever it takes it there.

Service is great. Food is beautiful. The butter chicken is amazing! Definitely worth trying if you like Indian I thinks it's definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Perth.

The best Indian Restaurant in entire Western Australia. It's must for me to hit the place at least once a month.

Very average. We have been to many Indian restaurants and last night we tried the Punjab and were quit disappointed .First of all the onion bahjis were stodgy and floury and for mains the chicken in the curries was over cooked and dry .sorry to say we would not recommend to anyone.

Service was good, restaurant was very well presented for the area. How refreshing! The food was quite tasty, though I think there is better. The Dahl was disappointing but the saag lamb, madras chicken and entree chicken (not the tikka, I can't remember what it was called) were all very good. I'd go back.

Simply amazing. As a group of 7, we came here the other night after the movies it was one of the best evenings. What a feast

It's OK and very $$$. I had heard great things about punjab and as we live down the road I ordered it as take away. There are 3 Indian restaurants within 500m of each other and none of them are fantastic. The food here was nice don't get me wrong but it was not great ! and you are paying a price that should be amazing food. I would eat here again if I was going for dinner with someone else that wanted to go but I can think of other indian restaurants I would rather go to.
