The best fish n chips we've had in a long time. First time we've been to Woodlands Fish n Chips due to a friends recommendation and we weren't disappointed. Golden chips and the thickest piece of fish I've ever had.

Love the Spanish mackerel and chips for an easy dinner. The chips may be the best ones I’ve had from a fish and chip place before. Cooked to perfection with salt and a touch of vinegar. Delicious!
I was craving Deep fried fish with batter and chips. We’ve decided that this place in woodlands looks good and the reviews was very good.
Previously we went to our local fish and chips place and it was burnt down. So they are doing some renovating works on the building.
It was very good for the seafood basket as it was good for 2 people, with a generous serve of fish, mussel, crabstick and squid rings and loads of chips for $18.90
We were stuffed at the end of the meal. Totally worth going to get fish and chips again!

Can't score 5/5 because I did once have chips elsewhere that were equally crispy, but were even chunkier. Bigger! But to be honest, these ones are always perfect!
The most delicious chips in town. The battered fish and squid were fresh and crispy. The only down side was a slightly dry grilled fish. Highly recommend.
I've traveled the world, sampling fish and chips whenever I can. I grew up enjoying the fish and chips from Woodlands fish shop and every time I "come home" I eat there. It has changed hands a few times over those 60 years, but the quality of the fish and chips has remained exceptional. Others may have their favorite local chippie, but IMHO this is the best I've had in the world. and I don't say that lightly. Try it, you'll like it...

we always get the pink snapper and are always happy with the quality and flavour.
Great serves, lashings of chips and good package deals for the whole family. Using their packages helps get a variety for everyone to share. Price was pretty reasonable for the serves and quality (was also good). Will go back and give their grilled fish a go. Waiting time was short given it was Good Friday.

First time there. The Goldband Snapper was great. Batter crisp and chips just the best. Definitely will be going back. A great find with friendly and helpful staff. Just make sure you get your order in early on Fridays as you will have a 40 minute wait....but well worth it !
How does a fish and chip place get a 4.5 score? By being good. We all have a lot invested in fish and chips. Its a standard fall back meal and everyone wants it to be perfect. Solid,crispy chips and a large, flaky, white fillet. Neatly battered and fried in good oil. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Best fish and chips I've found. The fish is huge and fresh, they give you extra squid (which is very tender) and so many chips I can never come close to finishing it. A bit of extra salt on the chips would be great but it's the best f&c place I've ever found! You won't regret coming here.
Really good food, great prices. Would be good if they were open a bit later especially on weekends, been a couple of times where we've had to race to get there before 8pm. One of the best fish and chips in Perth though!
Best fish and chips. Just moved into the area and stumbled across this place while walking in the park. One of the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. We had the pink snapper and red emperor and sat in the park with our little one. The pink snapper was amazing and the chips were done to perfection.

Best fish and chips ever. I've been coming to this place for 15 years and it's the best fish and chips I've found in perth. Great quality and great service, the spanish mackerel is always nice and juicy. recommend it to anyone.
Won't go anywhere else for fish and chips again!. We tried Woodlands Fish and Chips a few years ago, and experimented with a few different shops over that time. The fish and chips are always consistent, beautiful and crisp, squid rings always succulent and tender. Service always fantastic, no phone order is too small. This is our new favourite and we won't go anywhere else!

Bloody good fish n' chips.
Good reviews so thought we'd give it a try and our expectations were met. Had the twin pack with calamari and plenty of chips left over.

Good. Read the reviews so was maybe expecting too much. Food was good but I think Groper and his wife in City Beach is better.
Read the great reviews and didn't believe a fish and chip shop could live up to such high expectations... It did!! Fish was fresh, chips were crispy and didn't go soggy and got more food than 3 people could handle for under $40. All in all, 10/10.
Excellent. We got the pack 2 option. We had 3 adults and one child. The fish was of great quality and tasty as were the chips and squid rings. Glad to have found this place!
Locally caught fish and chips!. I drove 15 minutes to hunt out this place, mainly due to the high rating and the fact majority of their fish is from Western Australian waters, which is a biggie for me.
The portions weren't stingy and the fish (we had Spanish mackerel) was fresh, moist and succulent. Batter nice and crispy, not too thick and not too thin, but a bit oilier/greasier than I had hoped. Chips and squid rings were fine.
Overall, really good value and two thumbs up for sourcing fish locally! On a sunny day this would be the perfect takeaway to eat over at Jackadder Lake!

Had a huge feed of fish and chips on Friday night.
Ordered the family pack for $38. There was heaps of fish which was very tasty. I also got a couple of potato scallops which I thought were perfect and soft inside.
The shop is in a great spot for those who want to eat at the lake. There is also several shops nearby including a Farmer Jacks and Bakers Delight.
The service was very friendly and quick.
Parking is usually available out the front.

I shared a seafood platter recently kept my partner with hake and we loved it all. Big juicy prawns.
Fantastic gluten free fish and chips. The fish was well seasoned with a delicious herb mix, and the serving size was large. I had chips left over after the meal, and believe me, I’m not the type of person to leave anything behind! I don’t live in the area, but I would definitely make a special trip just to eat here again.
