We’ve been having Brighton fish and chips for 5 years now, and it’s honestly one of the best in WA, (I’ve tried it from regional areas outside of Perth too). It’s always fresh and delicious. The work ethic and dedication is reflected in the consistent quality of the food.

Worst fish n chips ever, so overcooked it was inedible! How can u get Fish n Chips so wrong. Always hit & miss with this place, long wait times & AGAIN got the order wrong! It was a convenient location but I won't be ordering here again. When I rang to sort it out, the owner was arrogant & dismissive. When I said I was going to write a review, she applauded me to do so. Wasted my money! WOODLANDS FISH N CHIPS PUT THEM TO SHAME! I do not recommend! I'm trying to find how I can post a picture???

The fish and chips are absolutely lovely! And very generous with the chicken salt which is a must. However would be nice to be able to buy some onion rings (instead of the spring rolls which were definitely not a repeat order)

The best fish and chips in Perth, it's not hit and miss its amazing every time, My parents in law live in double view now and get it every Friday night, I love coming on Friday nights. AMAZING QUALITY

Fish wings is so crispy and nice. Soft on the inside. If you order by telephone, just give it an additional 10mins as they are usually so busy that their estimated time is under.

One of the worst fish and chip experiences of my life. Waited over 1.5 hours for a simple order of fish and chips for two. Fish was overcooked, chips were cold, zero seasoning after specific requests. Would not recommend.

Amazing fish/food but horrible service.... Is it worth the wait??? I Prepaid and ordered dinner for Good Friday the night before, and yet I still had to wait 45mins for the order!! Need to get some time management skills as they always seem to run behind.

Just had food from here was cold the prawn cutlets are just prawns not a cutlet and were not cooked thru certainly gone down hill pile of rubbish want go again

If you haven't had proper classic fish & chips in a while, here's the place, with the low prices to match

Not a good experience. Ordered Squid, scallops, prawns, cobbler and snapper all to be grilled along with chips. Chips came unsalted and no vinegar - I didn't request them so I accept thats on me. All the seafood was microwaved (no grill marks whatsoever) and heavily coated in paprika... I didn't order paprika. I didn't want paprika. I have never heard of it being a staple with fish and chips. But when I queried why I was served all my food with essentially a paprika crumbing, I was rudely informed its how they always serve their seafood and I should of advised I didn't want it. How could I of known to ask for no paprika. I was informed that it is written on the menu that all seafood grilled is served with paprika (it was not - 25/11/18) and also that all the regulars know this, I am a first (and last) time customer. The other negative is that they used three trees worth of paper to wrap each dish separately, preventing the dishes from keeping eachother hot. This meant we (I actually as the wife can't eat paprika) ate our paprika cold.... sorry our fish and chips cold.

Had takeaway fish and chips from here. Nice friendly and helpful service. Generous portion sizes and reasonably priced. Fish, squid and chips were also tasty and fresh.

Was served by this nice young boy named Vasilios, he was a extremely nice well mannered young boy. The fish was a pleasure to eat because of this great customer service.

Generous is the first word to describe this little gem. I remember having fish and chips from them as a kid in the 90s - nor much has changed except their location. Their snapper is very satisfying - fresh, crispy, well-cooked. Same with the chunky chips. The calamari is never chewy, and they never give just 10 in a serve of 10 (see picture). My only gripe is the tartare sauce needs more punch - something easily fixed by adding some chopped cornichons at home. <br/><br/>To echo many reviews - cash only, ATM on site. Ring ahead as they get busy. <br/><br/>Well worth a look into.

It's a shame the food is decent because the service is terrible. My family has been coming here for years (before the move) and they consistently keep you waiting for average fish and chips. You order online and they say it'll be ready in an hour, 9/10 you'll be waiting for another 15-20 mins. It's just unfortunate that there's no where else around Scarborough that has better service.

I really enjoyed this fish and chip shop! Had it for Easter Friday and really enjoyed the fish. Good price and good serving sizes as well. Fast service.

We've had some great fish and chips here. I like the cobbler and everything is always cooked spot on. You do need to ring up and order ahead of time as they are always busy in the evenings. If you rock up and order, expect to wait half an hour.  Oh, they only except cash, but have a ATM (with extra service charges) inside the shop.

Great fish and chips. Not greasy and a decent serve. The big plus was the crumbed fish which was really very good. Not our closest but worth the drive.

Brighton Rd effn cees have been right up there (a known 5/5) for a lot of them..but a suburb away...then I chanced upon the name Brighton Rd Fish Supply a few months ago...yay! It's in the zone...which I fab... But 0.5 off for retaining name...cook the fish n chips as you do...and the locals will flock...newbies will travel<br/>

Great fish and chips; well not so much the chips which are consistently dry and flavourless. Apart from that, this is one of best traditional style fish & chips retailers around, and definitely the best tasting of all the competition in the surrounding suburbs.

We finally tried out our local fish and chip shop and have to say we were both blown away. Our choice of fish was the whiting and it was fresh, the batter thin and crisp (with great flavour and not oily), and there were a few pieces per serving - really generous! The chips were well seasoned and perfectly cooked, though I do like mine a bit more crisp than what we had. Really glad to have such a great place so close by!

Hands down best Fish and Chips in Perth. Not a pretentious shop front like most of the stores that claim to do a good job, yet they are the best tasting and at a good price. Referred many people here and all keep coming back.

Well, we saw the great ratings and thought we had to check it out. To be honest, it was disappointing. The grilled fish was dry and the chips were nothing to write home about. I've had better in Perth! I think if you want to boast a 93% rating then everything should be top notch, unfortunately we won't be back.

Best fisho in Perth. Since accidentally stumbling on this place a few years ago we have made it our fisho of choice, even following them from Brighton Road to their new location. Consistently high standard tuck at a reasonable price. We like that they don't overuse the salt; it allows each of us to use as much or as little as we choose. Tip: Phone your order through and ask them when food will be ready. They're usually spot on.

Disappointed. I use to go to the Brighton fish supply when it was located on Brighton road and always loved the food there so was expecting the same at the innaloo one. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. Ordered at 6:40 Tuesday night and was told it would be ready in twenty minutes. One hour later it was ready! So I'm expecting awesome food after that wait. Fish wasn't soft and flaky, seemed to be over cooked, the chips were okay, nothing great. Admittedly they threw in a few freebies but after spending $75 and waiting an hour it's the least they could do. Perhaps I'll give them another try when it's not so busy given all the positive reviews.

Great fish but chips need attention. Really great grilled barramundi and battered snapper...but the chips were undercooked and NO SALT! Chicken salt is the best part about fish and chips i didnt think it had to be ordered extra. Will def go back but ask for chips to be salted and cooked better

The ONLY place to go for FISH N CHIPS!. Thank god we found this place! Reasonably priced and always delicious!!! I love that one time we called before opening hours for dinner and the phone was answered and our order was taken for pick up right on opening time! Now thats service! Keep up the great work! Outstanding Quality. I have heard many great reviews about this place but have never tried it for myself. After the appalling quality of similar businesses, it was time for a change. The high quality, oil-free, tasteful dishes were easy to please. I'll definitely be returning for years to come!

Amazing!. The best fish & chips in Perth! I have always been on the hunt for the best fish & chips, i recently moved maybe two streets away, and im so happy i did! Being a fisherman's daughter this was always going to be a hard task for me but Brighton Fish Supply has won me over! The shark is always spot on, big servings, i tell everyone about it & am forever hanging out for fly out day so i can head straight there for my dinner :)

Bit on the dry side. Eaten there a few times now and while the fish is nice it has been over cooked slightly and slightly on the dry side for my tastes.

There is a good reason why these guys get such a high rating, their fish n chips are awesome. I have been a regular for about 5 years and they never ever let you down. The batter is light and crispy and the chips are perfect. You guys rock.

Brighton Fish Supply. Simply the best fish and chips in Australia. This comes from a very well travelled person in Australia. Its a crime they had to move from their home in Brighton Road. Sweet Lips is a rip off poor quality it suck's so bad.

Hit and Miss. Fish is really nice more often than not but the chips are soooooo hit and miss despite asking for them to be 'well done' they are often soggy and oily. When they do get it right...they are delicious!

I ordered red mullet last night. The fish was superb, so fresh and the light batter compliments it rather than smothering it. If Brighton served handcut homemade chips, they'd reach perfection!

We dropped in here tired and hungry a couple of days after moving to the area. The fish was fantastic, fresh and delicious. Prawns were even better. Chips were fine and the service was solid - will be following the business when it moves to 22 Muriel Avenue in Innaloo because a good piece of fish is hard to find these days.

Understandably so.. the fish here was good.. really good.. and perfect for picking up on the way to Scarborough Beach.<br/><br/>Big, thick pieces of fish with a light, golden, crispy batter. Chips were so-so. <br/><br/>Highly recommended to ring up and order first.. otherwise you'll be waiting...and waiting....and waiting......

Best Fish! Only place we order fried fish!. We love Brighton Fish Supply for Fish, and sometimes the Chips. The fish is always Excellent. The chips are hit-n-miss; such a disappointment when they are not cooked to a crisp finish.-We routinely ask for them well done; would say they get it right about 30% of the time. When they DO get the chips right, yum-they're wonderful. The prawns are generally very nice as well as the squid. Certainly recommend the place. Remember to ask for your chips well-done if you like them crisper, and hope it turns out. Do be sure to try this place though!
