I forgot to take a pic of the kolomee. I was too hungry and it smelt so good. š portion size, you get your money's worth. The crispy wanton entree is yum too. Both were ordered as takeaway and came with sweet chilli sauce and green pickle chilli's.
Great place if you're looking for a no fuss, authentic Malaysian flavour (and affordable, too!).
Food is great. Kolo mee, kway teow, nasi lemak and hor fun are our favourites. Definitely recommended.
Kampua noodles was tasty, bbq pork taste really good, just a tad too dry for my palate. And it's cheap for the amount that we're getting, well valued. Staff always try to keep clean and friendly. Will come back again to try other menus for sure.
Asian Golden Wok is an absolute stunner. The Laksa is great. As much great is possibly anything you have here. Great quantity and quality at an affordable price. Very highly recommended.
Stunning food. Not pricey, good sized portions and prompt service. We had the chicken rice and also the chicken curry rice. Both were incredible. We'll be going back again soon.
Excellent, Chicken Rice and Ho Fun Egg Sauce are the best. A must try š„”š. Always busy with fast service and clean interior. Cannot wait to try the whole menu
Friendly and cozy malaysian cuisine serving classic cuisine including my personal favorite fried kway tiao! Price is cheap and portion is generous too! Owner is friendly. Place is small though and there can be a queue and waiting time during busy period. Still, a good family restaurant!
Quick service, flavours are good and prices are fair. Not many options for Singapore/Malay hawker style cuisine out this way so glad this place exists rather than having to head in to Northbridge or further
The +ve: coming to the counter, asking to pay for 2 satisfying nasi lemak with tasty sambals/chicken curry and being told that the total is less than $20 š
The less positive: a bit of wait and table space can be tricky
for a group of more than 4.
Overall would come back and maybe try the Bakuteh(Sunday special)
I always come here when Iām in the area and looking for a good carb feed. Portions are huge and prices are cheap! Both the fried vermicelli and wet hot fun had the authentic charred flavour. Staff are very friendly and dishes can be tweaked to your preference
This place is hard to find, but a great cheap place to pick up a takeaway meal or have a quick stop before heading onto the next stop. Tried the braised beef with noodles this time and it was super tasty. The beef was tender and tasty which is very authentic (according to family cooked dishes Iām used to). Iāll definitely continue to go here for my quick fix meals
A rare find in the northern suburbs- Sarawak hawker style food. Quite enjoy the Bak Kut Teh and Kolo Mee, but Tomato Sauce Kueh Tiaw is a little bland. Nasi Lemak is served with a generous amount of fried anchovies & peanuts, which is great. And although the Curry Laksa is missing some distinctive aroma and creaminess, the flavours are still enjoyable. We also quite enjoy having their thin egg noodles in our laksa for a change. However, we didn't enjoy the sliced chicken pieces in the laksa as they were a little dry & rubbery- shredded chicken would have been a better additon.Ā
Prices are cheap and food is decent for what you pay. Service is good and friendly. Don't mind coming back for a quick and easy meal.
Been here second time and just love their Malaysian, South Asian Food. Very traditional and good value. Much better quality and quantity than the food court. Laksa and the fired noodles are all good and delicious. And I tried the Bak Kut Teh this time and not disappointed either. Very nice slow cooked pork rib, whole brunch of garlic, some pork cubes and herbs. This dark soup version of Bak Kut Teh is really traditional and classic. Will definitely be back !
Tasty, well-priced meals with very fast service. A good representation of Malaysian/Singaporean cuisine. We always get the kolo mee, hor fun, bak kut teh and Nasi lemak. Laksa is great too. Food is designed for single servings, not to share like your typical Chinese food. The drinks available are your standard canned Yeo's offerings (lemon tea, chrysanthemum, soya bean drink) - hard to beat!
Prompt and attentive service. Very inexpensive meals with a variety of asian meals. We'll be going back to try their other meals, as it won't break the bank :)
Had nasi lemak... wasn't the most authentic, but good nonetheless. Lunch special was quite worth it, probably better than those from westfield innaloo food court.
My favourite Asian food in Perth! Best koo loo mee noodles, which are really rare to find in Perth. The food is so reasonably priced and the food comes out really quickly. Great suburban Malaysian restaurant that we need on the North side of the river!
Good spot for typical Sarawak hawker noodle dishes. Ā The classic Kampua or Kolo Mee dishes are simple and tasty. It's not exactly health food, but you know that when you dine at a place like this. Ā The restaurant is fairly cosy and parking can be a challenge during the day. Ā The menu choices are limited, but that is good as the dishes are fairly authentic and the prices are reasonable compared to other places. Ā Give it a go!
One of my favorite go to restaurants. Yummy authentic Sarawak kolomee. Great and super fast service. Price is ok. Cheaper at Sarawak Hawker in Willetton.
Finally a decent place for a Nasi lemak in the northern suburbs. The laksa is great as well. Been here a few times now and recommended many time to friends. Well worth a visit.
The laksa soup and the curry chicken is good. The wontons in the wonton soup is also good, however the soup stock has no flavour or spirit. I would score higher if the stock is improved.
Fantastic value...all the dishes under $10 and tasty, fresh food. We will definitely go back for a quick, budget meal in comfortable surrounds.
This place is awesome! Amazing authentic food, cheap prices and attentive staff. Everything you want really. I am now a regular :) the Laksa and wonton soup are so good and the laksa is one of the best I've had in Perth.
Had Kolo mee for lunch and it was a big portion but still i can finished it as i was very hungry! I paid only $9.90 for kolo mee and chinese tea!
Great value for money, and good for a quick feed before heading to the movies. I would love to see an expanded menu as there aren't many other Malaysian places in the area.
Went here for lunch. Got the nasi lemak, was good but there sambal isnt sambal? Wasnt even chilli, tasted sweet. Also got kway teow as I read a review it was realy good. Tasted abit weird, probably the Chinese sausage. Overall its alright but wouldnt go out of my way for it.
We have been here quite a number of times. This place is not fancy but value for money-big portion (price start from $8.90) and delicious.
Service was quite prompt. Our favourite meals are kolo mie and fish ball soup.
Cheap and delicious! Very authentic Malaysian food and super fast service. You'll receive your meal in under 5 minutes.
Delicious!! Closest to Singaporean Kway Teow I've had in Perth!!
Value for money !! Fresh and tasty, great quality chicken which is unusual in most Asian takeaways.
My partner who rarely eats Asian food loved this place and the hianese chicken rice!!!
Delicious Malaysian food. Never been to any Asian restaurant where I liked every dish we ordered. Service was quite prompt and on the weekend they also sell kueh. Will definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu!
Been there a couple of times already and always had the kampua noodle or kolo noodle. Noodle is tasty by itself, accompanied by the succulent char siew.

Tucked away in a small complex (between BP aand red rooster) this is a nice cosy place serving malaysian hawker styled food.
Nice kway teow, kolo mee and overall very tasty. this place is usually full...and loud, but have always had good, fast service.
Nice desserts and takeaways
The best chicken rice in Perth. If you like Malaysian Nasi lemak you can't go past their lunch special with a drink. They also sell Malaysian desserts are n Saturdays
Cheap & Cheerful. Having eaten my way through the majority of the menu, I can safely say the best dishes would be the Kolo Mee (I eat this more than 50% of the time) and Hainanese Chicken Rice.... stay well away from the Laksa and Mee Goreng if you know what's good for you.... service is always quick and meals are between $6 - $10. Recommended.
AWESOME and perfect place before movie. The food is as good or better than anything similar in Singapura (REALLY) with excellent pricing. The service was extremely quick. This is now my favourite pre-movie restaurant.
Great value, friendly service and beautiful flavours. Only criticism is that's it's too far from home. We need more places like this further south.
Best Asian ever! The fish ball soup and chicken hainanese Is defiantly the best! First restaurant in Perth that is cheap and actually super yummy!!! You defiantly get more than you pay for !
Always great food - this isn't the buffet from inside the shopping centre!. I notice a couple of reviews have got confused with the (terrible) place inside the shopping centre. This is a different place - outside in the little drive-tru courtyard next to Sushi Master restaurant. The food is really fresh and tasy. And the price is really reasonable. The decor is basic but clean and always filled with locals. I love the Singapore Noodles and the egg sauce noodles, in fact they are all nice. Highly recommend. Lovely friendly staff.
Super cheap and yummy!! $6.50 for wonton soup!
Will definitly be back :)
Light taste of Malaysia Food. Seem this shop before but never try on.
Suddenly want to eat Malaysia Food, we have decide to go there around 1200, Full house! Just need to wait for few minutes, we have sat and order our dish chicken rice, laksa, wet hokkin noodles..
Rice with flavor but smell burnt. Chill sauce was light taste.
Laksa MUST add SAMBAL, otherwise...OHOH
Big difference was wet Hokkin noodles, we have seem the photo before order, but totally difference. Wet! like egg sauce...
They also selling the Malaysian desserts.. we have brought one for try. Same taste lightly.
Will give one more chance to go...
I like it. This hawkers restaurant has very decent menu list and value for $. They serve in enough portion and tasty ofcourse. The service is quick either.
Thanks
Ash
Great food. We have been here quite a number of times and had always enjoyed the food. Kolok mee/ kampua tasted just like the ones you would get back home in Sarawak! The portions are very generous too and service is quick. Would love to see more on the menu and maybe some local Malaysian drinks/ desserts would be nice too.
Love the wonton noodle soup it's very popular eatery a favorite for us
Sits somewhere between a hawkers restaurant and food court. Fast, good service. Inexpensive. Would like to see more items on menu. Consistent food
I'd only order the koh lo mee. Nasi lemak was disappointing. The rice tasted like chicken rice!! They don't even have any Malaysian desserts!
Tasty, authentic comfort food.. This lovely cafe has delicious Malaysian favourite dishes, including nasi lemak, chicken curry rice, fried noodles like Mee Goreng & Char Kway Teow, Sarawak laksa, kuih and other sweet treats. The Kolo Mee was authentic, and the best we've tried in Perth, by far. Nasi lemak was delicious, though late in the day it could've done with being heated up a bit. Coconut rice was fragrant but not cloying, and came with tasty curry chicken and a spicy, lip-tingling sambal that tasted home made. Portions were generous, well worth $7.80 each. Little pancakes rolled with coconut were tender and not too sweet. Service was quick and welcoming, everything was very clean and the chairs were soft and comfy. There were old black & white photos of Malaysian towns, and colour photos of kuih on the walls. It's near the Red Rooster drive-in and Crust Pizzas, in front of the Innaloo Fresh Fish Market (fancy buying seafood in a loo?). Parking was easy at 2pm on a Saturday. We'll definitely be back.
Great authentic Malaysian food, very reasonably priced. Authentic Malaysian Mi Goreng, great Ho Fun, Fried Kuey Teow and tasty Sarawakian dishes!
very reasonably priced too.... Cheaper than getting a meal from Maccas or KFC.
As good as it gets. They serve plenty of Sarawakian delights, and as a Kuching local where most of the dishes come from, it is as good and authentic as it gets!
Authentic konlo mee!. Tasty & good value! Would go back for more!
Great for value. Had a Sibu Kampua it was huge. May consider cutting the noodle portion slightly less as it causes reflux but otherwise the taste is 85% similar to Sibu Kampua, great barbequed meats followed by soup. :)
Definitely room for improvements! Keep up the good work!
I will return to this restaurant again, on a night which I am lazy to cook. Their service is very fast and efficient.
It reminds me of being in Malaysia!
I order through a deliver app, the food has been PERFECT every single time.
Pricing is reasonable
Food is consistent and authentic
Portions are great
I have been so sick lately and I have been ordering their Hainanese Chicken Riceā¦
Firstly, not many places near me do this dish.
Secondly, about 30-60minutes after eating this I felt so incredible⦠it felt like family had cooked it with love and made me feel better.
Today I ordered requesting vegetables with a dish that didnāt come with it, I offered to pay extra. There in my container the EXACT vegetable I asked for.
They always put a smiley face on my bagā¦
I LOVE THIS PLACE

Great quality, big portions, cheap price, friendly staff. Highly recommended!
I've had Nasi Lemak all over Perth and I can confidently say Golden Wok in Innaloo has the best Nasi Lemak in Perth, great value at $13.80

My goto in Perth for my favourite Malaysian dish - Curry Chicken. Small venue with a hawker vibe. Super fresh ingredients with top traditional flavours at prices everyone can afford.
My wife and I went for lunch here. She ordered Hofun Egg Sauce and I ordered Nasi Lemak (Rice in coconut milk and Curry chicken)
Mine tasted good. Had a taste of my wife's dish and it tasted good as well. Each dish was about 12 dollars
As a Singaporean who spent 12 years living in Perth I can tell you this is a real solid effort considering itās in the Innaloo area. Price was reasonable as well.
Takeaway and had :
Kolo Mee - asked for very spicy and it was great
Chicken curry - little watery but great flavour
Wanton Noodle - the wife actually tot the wantons weāre authentic
Fried rice - accidentally ordered this but it was ok
Mee Goreng - was only ok
Ordered takeaway, thinking the food will be cold when we reached home, but to our surprise it was still very warm and ready to eat. The Fried Kolo Mee is very good and tasted amazing with the sambal. Very Impressed with the Fried Keow Teow, tasted very authentic and similar to Penang style as it comes with the Chinese sausage.
Went here before a movie and was worried I wouldn't finish my meal in time - it was handed out extremely quickly and the only reason I didn't finish was because the portion was so large, not to mention affordable and very tasty.
Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu
