Review Morris Place Chinese Restaurant - Innaloo

Best Chinese meal I've had in a long time. Fresh, tastes sensational, and cheap. Banquet for 2 did not disappoint. Fried rice plentiful with a hit of peanut oil, sweet and sour pork - perfect portion with a crunch and chicken and cashews with lots of freshly steamed vegetables. I will be returning

Lemon chicken was fantastic Special fried rice was tasty however was a little too dry

Top service and great food. Definitely open (not closed!) with all menu items and services as usual. Booking again asap.

The mee goreng was too greasy and didn't taste good. However the rests were fine and the portions were generous.

Very disappointed with the food. I spent $72 on 4 dishes plus a fried rice. The rice was lovely but that’s it. Prawn cutlets were all crumbs and no prawn, fried duck was dry and served on a bed of rotting lettuce. Chilli seafood combo had 3 prawns and some squid and a lot of capsicum. Overall bad, I won’t be going back nor will I recommend to anyone

We thought we would try this out again after many years of not going there as it was pretty average. Just to be fair, we live very close by and should give them another chance. Usually we go to the Chinese in Sackville Terrace and never have a problem. Always very good.
We had a spring roll each if you can call it that, very skinny and tasteless. Singapore Mee Fung and Fried rice were a non-event. bland and not much in them. Lastly, the Lemon Fried Chicken was well overcooked. Overall a waste of our $48.00. Sorry but you need to lift your game if you want to compete with the locals. We are foodies and know what we are talking about. It was a cold night and just felt like something local. Oh well, back to The Silver Horse.

Definitely recommend! This place is great for dinner with friends or family or even a quick takeaway. We came last Thursday night for dinner at around 7pm and were greeted and served by friendly staff who helped us with menu suggestions. We had Szechuan Beef, Salted Chilli Pepper King Prawns, Chicken with Cashews and Choy Sum with Oyster Sauce. All dishes came out hot and could tell they used fresh ingredients. The meat dishes were not overly salted and were good sauce to meat ratio. Choy sum was fresh and complimented the other dishes well with steaming hot rice. All dishes were reasonably priced and there was plenty of parking at the front. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu as well as order takeaway.

Horrendous quality. Ordered soft egg noodles and veg, hard noodles was used, nearly no noddles and all veg.
Lemon chicken was burnt.
Restaurant smelt and they were shouting in the kitchen which their 1 other customer also heard.
Trust me, avoid this place like the plague. Ps $48 for 3 terrible dishes

Standard suburban chinese takeaway. Nothing amazing but friendly service and okay prices. Basing my review of takeaway, not dine in. Vegetables were overcooked.

My partner and I love this place, one of our favorite local Chinese spots. Nothing fancy, but the food is always tasty! Their sweet n sour anything is the best :)

What a pleasure! We had the sweet & sour pork, honey fried chicken, lemon chicken breast, veg kway Tao and egg fried rice. The chicken ones were a great ratio in terms of meat and batter, the sauces were delicious and the fried rice was so good! Minimal use of MSG, prices are reasonable for the quantity. Wouldn't order the kway Tao again but definitely the chickens and fried rice!!!

Worst place ever! Ordered 1 fried rice and was literally waiting for just under half an hour. I WAS TOLD ONCE it wont be long after I ordered and the whole 25 mins of waiting I was ignored until my meal came. Never known a restaurant to take that long for one small meal. Would not recommend.

We had takeaway from Morris Place Chinese. Satay beef and fried rice. It was pretty tasty but not the best I've ever had. More meat in the satay would have been nice, it was mostly veg.

Never again. We ordered a takeaway banquet for 2 consisting of chicken with cashews and my favourite sweet and sour pork. When I opened the fried rice it smelt burnt. Turned out it was burnt. The pork was mostly gristle and the sauce mostly vinegar. We tried a few pieces but it was so bad the remainder was consigned to the rubbish bin. The chicken with cashews was okay although I feel giving us less than 9 cashews in total was a bit rich. also the container was small compared to what other chinese restaurants give you. In this case it turned out to be a blessing as less had to be thrown out. The wanton's left a lot to be desired and the spring rolls had hardly any filling in them. Our local chinese used to be the best around but they have gone downhill using the cheapest cuts of meat which contain altogether too much fat and gristle. Sadly this alternative is actually worse than the one we've given up.

Fantastic!!!. I just decided to get a little treat meal for dinner after a long day, and chose this place because it was the only Chinese near me that delivered, not expecting too much though. Well! I was so surprised!!! They were lovely on the phone, clear and polite. The guy was lovely when he dropped the food off, stopping to chat instead of running off as soon as he had the money. And the food was flawless! It tasted fresh, and not over-Westernized (not loaded with sugar and salt). I'm quite picky about my chicken quality too, but I found this place to use breast/thigh pieces, no grissle or stringy fat which is such a rarity these days!
Even though I had a heaped plate, I don't feel gluggy and bloated, and I attribute this to the quality of the ingredients. This place is absolutely wonderful, and I definitely recommend you try it!!!

Ok for emergency take away food. Not very authentic though and food seems pre-cooked and reheated.

Best Chinese in the area. I love my Chinese food, and Morris Place Chinese always hits the spot. I've never had a bad meal from here or any complaints about meat quality, serving sizes, or anything. Love it.

Good local Chinese!. Food was delicious, staff were nice, it is a nice little neighbourhood Chinese. Looked nice enough inside, we had a take away. Had a special order and it was fine with them. Well be back!

This place is a little hidden gem. The sang choy bow is a must as is the salted chilli squid

Food was average. Wasn't the best or the worst. Probably wouldn't eat here again.
