Review Betty's Cafe - Innaloo

Szilvia Molnar
Staff is kind but food could be developed a bit. The veggie wrap had one slice of halloumi (halved into the whole wrap) which is disappointing. The banana milk shake had some artificial ingredients, taste was a bit unnatural. Wedges were nice and with good size, Bublé burger tasted ok but a bit simple (no chips with burgers).
Vicki Buchanan
Staff are friendly and helpful, food is consistently good. I had a wrap with halloumi, eggplant, etc and asked for it without the wrap! It came very nicely presented and was a delicious light meal for only $15. Chicken salad was also very nice. Washed down with a couple of pleasant glasses of red. Betty's is a great choice for a bite and drink at the Innaloo Cinema.

Absolutely amazing. Can not fault. The girls at the front of house were extremely nice and helpful. Great service. The food was amazing burger was massive and fresh. Compliments to the chef. Also one happy 6 year old. We ordered and was serverd within 10mins. Will be bringing the missus back next time for date night.

Interesting… sit at a table (which we cleared ourselves)and choose meal items from the menu on the table - 2 of 4 were not available - which were whited out on the menu near where you order. We ask what do you have and the lady said nachos. I ordered said nachos mild - which were not mild. Spicy and bland instead. Staff were friendly enough though.

This used to be a great past to go pre movie but it's gone down hill. The entire place smells like it was mopped with sour milk. By the time you get your food you've likely missed your film as it takes that long to be served. The pancakes are like lead bricks, burnt on the bottom and raw in the middle. And the remaining menu consists of cheap frozen snacks that are like rubber. Stay home
Natasha Allchurch
Really disappointing, very poor service and food quality. What I ordered off the menu was not what I got and the chef (generous term) thought a garden salad consisted only of lettuce. Staff did nothing to rectify the issue, food was cold, portions small and flys all over the restaurant (again generous term). Left without finishing food. Awful.
Daniel Ford
One of the best burger and milkshake places around.

Enjoyed a pleasant meal at this establishment. Expected surcharge of 15%, due to public easter monday, totaled our orders to $56.00 with a can of Lift. As pictures indicates, meals were met with thrilled deight and eager appetites. Steak was cooked beautifully rare as expected. Salad on point and chips could've been better only if handmade or with sweet potato. Mushroom sauce a little on the runny side but delicious all the same. Chicken meal was presented with lemon and herb dressing on the salad, that made a great marriage. No fault in this meal. Booth seating gives for a quiet surrounding and conversations cannot be overheard. Bonus points here. A family of 6 were next to us, so its great to see how many people can fit into a booth. This is our second visit to this place and will be sure to visit again in the future. If you enjoy a greatly cooked and presented steak, we highly recommend this venue. Please note, the plates are packed so make sure you bring your A eating-game

Ordered about $90 worth of food for delivery and they sent us the wrong food not even worth half the amount of money we spent. Will be going to the place in the morning returning the food and getting our money back!!!

Bought the Bonza Burger and asked to add mushroom for an extra dollar fifty. The floor girl screwed up in the till and it didn't charge the extra money for the mushroom on the EFT. Rather than wear the cost because it was their stuff up, the manager (possibly the mother of the floor girl who was quite nice) told her to come and collect the dollar fifty off of us at our table, asked if I 'still wanted it'. We paid, at which point I was only going to leave two stars. I was seated facing the pass and could see when the food was ready. The chef hit the bell once, and nobody responded. Hit it twice and the old bird was still dead to the world dithering about ignoring it. Then he hammered it three times and, rather than the manager bringing me my food, went into the kitchen to have a shouting match with the chef. The floor girl eventually brought the food over before it got too cold. If that lady is the owner of this franchise she should hire a manager and not have anything to do with customer service or hospitality. Not eating here again.

If you want a hot meal before a movie I’d go elsewhere. If you want a quality meal you better do the same because Betty’s cafe offers neither of these, but hey I might of caught them on a bad night? Either way I’m definitely not going back! It’s a no from me.

Betty's Cafe is a bit of an institution for me and my family. My nephew visits me from interstate and we always program in a visit to Betty's and a movie. The burgers are to die for and I probably drive past 3-4 other cinemas to get there. You can wash them down with an icy cold lager as reward for your long trek. :)

Burgers were awful! Cold and burnt. I tried to get in contact but no response. Don’t eat here!

Visited today (Sunday, 19 June 2016) restaurant was busy so expected a wait, after waiting over 30 minutes 3 out of 4 meals came out cold. Asked for flat bread - got a burger bun. Kids nachos were disgusting - my 10 year old that has never not finished a meal hardly touched it. Our drinks came out after we finished our meals (what we could stomach) - this included my 4 year old who is the slowest eater. All the staff were friendly expect one girl who obviously has somewhere else she'd rather be. We will not be returning - money wasted
Melissa Cifelli
Bit pricey, burgers should come with a small side of chips for the price. Bonza Burger (halloumi & vege) was DELICIOUS! Should be a permanent menu item.
Sheree Cousin
Big serving size, quick service and food was tasty. Loved the booths
Danielle Rahman
sundae was very unimpressive. Cheap chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce and peanuts mixed through. Not very appetising
Andrea Wills
Good burgers, great shakes it was just the movie that was ordinary.
Christian Stenvall
Food came out cold. Totally forgot about the drinks. By the time I had asked two staff about them we had finished our already cold food. Won't visit again!
Suzi McKearnen
Bit pricey for a cafe nothing flash Chips were not great . Asked for lemon dressing got balsamic big difference. Don't think we will eat there again
Nancy Turner
The burgers are a little over priced and I'm pretty sure the kitchen staff don't wear gloves while making the food, the thick shakes are really nice thou
Tania Watson
Always come to Betty's for lunch before a movie we always order a bottle of sparkling wine :)
Sue Thompson Bussell
Was there this evening with my two boys and I have to say the burgers were delicious! Frshe and hot and crispy toasted bun. Staff were lovely. Will be returning for sure
Sharyn Louise Kay
Hubby and I were on a date night, and dinner of course was on the agenda before a flick.... The crumbed barramundi was amazing!!!!!
Vasco Pyjama
Don't bother, poorly made and pricey
Leon
$18 for a greasy bacon and egg cheeseburger, on a thin bun that goes soggy immediately, with no sides or salad, and not even cutlery provided to cut that mess in half. And $5.80 for a "large" takeaway coffee that would be considered regular size anywhere else, which wasn't even full. And it took about 10 minutes to make with hardly anyone in the cafe. All the booth seats are worn out and the cushions are flat. They must be paying too much rent in this location or they think because it's in the cinema complex people won't pick somewhere else to eat when they're going to see a movie. They're wrong. After seeing what it's like these days I would never go back.Go to the sushi train down the road if you want a meal before your movie instead.
ITSFOODNET
Went there almost a week ago, ordered the chicken salad and a side of frys takeaway to sneak in to a movie. The booths could do with a bit of updating otherwise, pretty nice if you're wanting yummy, quick service.

Ordered off uber a Bosun flatbread. Ended up with a bloody burger with the same fillings. No courtesy call to even tell me they ran out of flatbread so they just gave me a cheap as bun instead. $15 for one sorry excuse of a burger. Called the cafe and the girl just said sorry that's all we had. No proper customer service. Not good enough for $15 plus $5 for delivery on uber. Forget this place
Sheryl Frame
Four adults and two young boys in my lunch party today. Counter service was friendly, but all six dishes came out at different times. My husband had the steak - he rated it the worst steak he has ever had in Perth. The fish was very disappointing - in fact my daughter never ate it ! The rest of us had burgers which were average
I had a plain ‘Betty’s burger’ without cheese, onion or beetroot. I’d rate it 6/10.
We ordered a chocolate shake which was the biggest let down - more like a chocolate flavored milk drink than a shake
Overall would suggest patrons stick to the basics - burgers and drinks, but give the main menu a wide berth.
India Stone
Such a good place for a before or after movies dinner. It gets busy quiet fast (especially during prime time before a movie (5.30-6.30ish) and during times after a movie where people are still ready for a dinner meal (7.30-9ish)). Quality cafe food (burgers especially) and their wedges are done really well!!
Shoey Kay
The food was tasty, but lacked finesse, and presentation was a little sloppy. But, the burgers were good, large enough to be filling and it was obvious the products used were of high quality. The meat patty was thick and juicy.
$3.90 for a can of soft drink is extortionate, compared to $7.50 for a stubby of full strength beer.
The cafe was clean and the service was quick, perfect for before a movie.
Rosco
Nothing super special here. Burgers are good. Nothing to write home about but they are tasty. Milk shakes and coffee are good as well. Staff are always friendly, smiling and polite. Only down side is the prices but that more than likely has something to do with the location. Rents can't be cheap in that mall. If you just after a quick tasty dinner before a movie then check it out.
Perth Eater
Nothing special here. Burgers are good, just good. Nothing to rave about. Chips are good. Drinks are good. Menu could be more exciting. Not as retro as the old Betty's in Leederville.
Pennae
Burgers were just OK - much oilier than similar offerings elsewhere. Order at the counter and meals will arrive when they're ready, not as a group, leaving awkward waiting time for those polite diners among us. No cutlery is provided and we got the impression that our request for a knife to cut burgers in half was a big hassle. One knife was provided for 6 people. Chips were greasy and were left uneaten.

Tables need a good clean and the menus have seen better days, falling apart and covered in grease. In all? Not somewhere I'd visit again.
TheKnifeForkSpoonAndStraw
Quite a comfortable restaurant and decent food with quick service. The burgers are the main attraction here, cooked well with fresh ingredients. I guess the only negative point is that chips aren't included, you must order them separate with burger plates. Might be a bit on the expensive side but that is expected being in the cinema complex. Otherwise a good place to eat.
Marina Antich
Betty's cafe makes real nice pancakes ! Love the banana one
Nice menu
Great service with a smile
Great stop after the movies or if your driving by

Michelle
A place that still serves you dine in food at 9pm on a Tuesday gets off to a good start. There's a variety of burgers, mains, and drinks. The burgers are around $15, but you get alright value for money. The add-ons are oddly priced (for an extra $4, you can add steak or guacamole), and you could take advantage of that. The burgers taste good and are filling enough without being too big or messy. The affogatos are cheap, only 30c more than a flat white. There's a good range of milkshake flavours. The juices are a bit expensive for only having three ingredients.
J-in-Perth
Betty's is one of those places we only go to if we're going to the cinema & need to eat first, but it's the wrong time of day to go to much else. So you can guess I'm not a major fan. On the plus side, it's ok. Food is ok. Service is ok. Nothing special, but, you know, it'll do.
Kudokun
I don’t normally watch at Innaloo cinema, but I had this free early screening to watch RISEN (which was awesome btw) and came early enough to try this simple but decent burger place. Well, technically it’s not a burger place since they sell many other stuff too, but all of us somehow ended up ordering burgers. The burgers are good. The size are big enough (some of the female even shared one burger for two). It is definitely a good value for money.

The one I ordered was boogie woogie: beef, bacon, egg, onion, melted double cheese and sauce. It was delicious. Love the melted cheese they use as it complement the thick juicy beef patty, which they emphasise to be 100% WA Beef patty!

They could improve on presentation and their range of sides, but other than that it’s really decent. The food came in quick enough allowing you to grab quick meal before movie!
Brenda Williams
seriously overpriced and low quality food. the salt and pepper squid with chips meal was the same as buying it in a box and then adding a coles packets salad on the side.
rip off
Chicolicaaa
Average burgers and shakes.
Average service.Burgers are very average and theres nothing special about them compared to jus burger or the burger bistro.
Leah
Bought a voucher here for two burgers and chips. Service was good, the burgers were delicious!!!! Small chips were big. I would go back for a burger any day.
Indi
Betty's is good if you want a quality burger and some amazing fries. It's also not too expensive and makes for a good night of seeing a movie and then going to dinner after
Bubble N Squeak
We only had a short time before our movie started and was really impressed at the fast service, fantastic burger (fresh and plentiful ingredients, a bit messy but, hey it's a burger!) and crispy thick chips.

I vaguely recall having a meal here years ago and it been below par. But this time it was worthy of a zomato entry for all the right reasons. Only complaint is the tables were dirty (but admittedly they were pretty flat out).

Whatever you did on Saturday 12th in the kitchen back there, keep doing it! :-)
Steve Schupp
Betty's have authentically captured the 'showgrounds burger caravan' flavour and cinema expense. Crinkle cut frozen chips, white lettuce heart chunks on non-descript patties feature prominently to faithfully recreate the fair ground cuisine experience. 2 (for convenience) /5.
Uk Foodie
The only reason they have customers - is because eating selections at the cinema is very limited. We received a burger with no meat - no it wasnt a vegetarian one. When returning it to the kitchen they chef was quite rude - as to say we should just eat what we're given. Drinks took AGES to arrive - i had to chase it up just as we almost finished our meals. They should also top up their knowledge on the entertainment vouchers - we where over charged by $30. I don't think they will survive the re-vamp of cinema and shopping complex.
FARMERdroo
Its ok
Burgers are a good size,
But the taste.. Nothing special
A little bit in the pricey side.

The shakes are good.
A very convenient place to eat if you a preparing to go to the movie afterwards.
Sandra Joyce
Very impressed with both service and food. Hubby and I came last night and were a little weary seeing as we were running a bit later than expected and the place was chockers! We both agree we have never seen the place quite so busy. The girls were friendly and attentive, letting us know that there was a slightly extended wait on food and drink and assured us they would do their best to get it out on time for us. Food and drink made it out super quick, despite the wait time and we were able to enjoy our delicious burgers and fresh juices before the movie. Thanks for always working hard for your customers, Bettys.
Patricia
When we arrived our table was full of dirty dishes and we had to clear it ourselves! Terrible Service and Shakes. Horrible! Overpriced! Synthetic and the cheapest tasting caramel in the sundae, advised the waitress that the sundae was inedible and her response was to immediately tell us that they would not refund or replace...even though we had hardly touched it as said inedible! Mind you we hadn't asked for a refund we just thought that considering we had just paid I think $9 for it and had not been able to eat it, that they would wish their customers to be happy. Obviously Customer service and satisfaction does not apply at Betty's cafe!! No apology nothing. Rude! I believe that the only reason people are going in there is due to the location being in event cinema complex. I would strongly advise that you avoid Betty's cafe as going by my experience you will leave feeling very disappointed with their quality and overall unhappy with the zero customer service. Give it a miss!! :-(
Nonnan
So disappointing. I ordered nachos and my friend ordered a burger and fries. Her meal came out within 5-10 mins and was cold. My nachos took 30 mins to arrive and came without guacamole (which was on the menu)
Couldn't even complain as the waitress dumped and ran and no waitresses were free, we had to rush to our movie which had already started. Will not be returning!
Mojitoricca
Even if desperate, do not eat here, it is overpriced and not worth your time.

Betty's regulars!. My family and I often come to Bettys! The girls at the bar will always greet with a smile, make conversation and get the drinks made and out very efficiently. Some of the newer staff seem like they are just holding out to go home... it doesn't give off the good time vibe we are used to.
Food is always delicious but we want our Big Kahuna back!!!
Kimjen_49
Very Poor Burger. I ordered a Scotch fillet steak burger. Worst I have ever had.
So tough , not scotch fillet ,It had been pounded in an attempt to tenderize it
but I could not eat it, sinews were like leather.
Good service very poor food.
Rico
Service is poor the girls behind the counter are more busy talking about what happened on the weekend then getting my order will never come back here ad do not recommend food expensive and tasteless
Wedge460
Unacceptable. Went back and unfortunately remembered too late the poor experience from previous visit. Won't make that mistake again.
Such a prime location( which is probably the only reason it survives) to be wasted on an underperforming establishment. First impression is "sticky". Dirty furniture and sticky everything. Ordered 4 meals which took way too long to arrive. 1 was cold and 1 was burnt. Two were close. Even the cutlery packs were sub standard. (serviettes were wet, fortunately there was a dispenser on the table).
When paying restaurant prices you should be getting a good experience. Cafe's at half the cost outperform this one.
In summary - ripped off and unsatisfied.

On the up side - We didn't get Botulism.

Stay Away
Marie2002
Great Staff. My husband and I regularly come for a meal after a movie, and Bettys always satisfies. The food is good (I would recommend the Bosun flatbread for anyone who likes chicken and avocado) and the shakes are thick and delicious. The staff at Bettys are the ones who make it worth coming repeatedly. We are always greeted by friendly front of house staff, and whenever I have made a special request they are always very accommodating and provide quick service. They are quick to recommend the perfect-sized meals and drinks for children and even after I mistakenly ordered the wrong meal for my child, they were happy to swap it for something else (with a smile on their face). I have always found the Betty’s staff to be understanding and friendly who all offer excellent customer service.

Over cooked.. This was the second time my Hubby & I had been here. I ordered Crumbed Barramundi, It came with Chips & Salad, the Barramundi was dried out & extremely over cooked. It was so dry I could hardly swallow it!
My Husband had Nachos that had chopped Corriander on it, this wasn't mentioned on the Menu, he hates fresh Corriander. I can cook better than this & I don't work in a Restaurant. Needless to say we will not be returning....very disappointed. This was at 4.30pm, we were the only people there, no excuse for this !!! 4/10!
Kate_miller
Good food, Great shakes, Friendly staff. Staff were very friendly and helpful when ordering (recommended kids size shakes for my little ones) Shakes came out quick and were thick and delicious! kids absolutely loved them!
Food was very quickly served which was great, gave us plenty of time to eat before our movie. The beef bundy burger was delicious! I ordered the Chicken Salad which was surprisingly very moist chicken! kids were stoked with their kids nachos (generous serving)
Brookeandbenjamin2
Waste of $$. Burgers are terrible and over priced. Definately won't be back.
Dtrainmac
Salad nothing like the picture. Ordered the cajun chicken salad which looked great. What i got was a chicken patty they use for the burger with a side salad. And to top it off some rice was added. Dont waste your money or time at this place.
Luke
Bland and overpriced. Stopped here with the wife last week before seeing a movie. I've had a lot of burgers in my time and these rank about the same level as something you would get from a petrol station. I couldn't believe I paid $16 for such a bland burger and $4 for a small chips which turned out to be crinkle cut frozen garbage you buy at Coles. I was eating my burger and wishing I went to HJs across the road.

The guy taking the order had painted black finger nails, wore all black and looked like an art school drop out. That sort of appearance didn't fly when I was young and working in fast food. I guess their standards are pretty lax.

The choc mint milkshake was good but I will never go back.
Glenda The Good Bitch
Over priced and staff don't listen to customers requests. Food is average in taste, definitely not value for money. Don't waste your time here. Plenty of tasty and inexpensive restaurants to eat at along Scarborough beach road. Yes, Betty's is a crock.
FoodLover
Unlike many other burger joints, this one seems well and truly behind the times, with no understanding of various medical issues or food intolerances that their patrons may have. They offer no gluten free options other than a salad. No buns, no chips and certainly no beef patties. This is a shame given that it's almost impossible to get a gluten free meal across the way at Hans.
Kaitlin
If you like wasting time then this is the place for you. Ordered two juices ($15.90 total rip-off) waited half an hour before anyone realised we hadn't received our order. We were sitting directly in front of the counter so it's not like they could have overlooked us. There were three other groups of people seated so it wasn't exactly busy either. There were 4 staff on and all they wanted to do was chat and stock drink fridges. Do not bother wasting your time here. There should be some kind of food inspector that goes to cafes that advertise as being healthy because Betty's is a complete crock
Lee Phillips
Frequently Enjoyed. Bettys is our number one burger choice in the area it's sad to see its been reviewed negatively recently. It's all in the fresh buns and juicy patties for me, something they always deliver on in my experiences. If you can fit it in the strawberry shakes are delicious.
Wombat
First time there today and very disappointed with the food. Won't be back.
Alexandra Healey
Service was terrible!. We aren't new to Betty's and often head there before a movie. The night before last, a small group of us went there for dinner. We ordered 3 burgers and 2 drinks. The waiting time wasn't too bad (they were a little busier than usual) but they only brought out two of the burgers we had ordered. On top of that we had asked no tomato to be added to one of the burger.. It came out with tomato! By that time it was too late to re-order the burger that they had not taken down when we originally ordered. What really annoyed us was the staff laughing at the bar while the waitress came over and told us that there had been a mistake with the order. It was really unprofessional and certainly didn't do the business any favours. Pick up your game Betty's!
IEatFood
Overpriced and bland food. For a 'diner' type place it is very overpriced, the food is basic and bland with coles branded ingredients used. Very disappointed with the food and the service. I had one guy who was friendly and attentive but most staff look like they think they have better things to do then do their job well.
Maurice Flores
Overpriced burgers but above all, staff were very unfriendly. Managers of food outlets should remind staff to smile, it is free and makes clients want to return. Overpriced menu and angry staff, not a good combination.
Chris
Milkshakes are good, but service is next-to-nothing caught a supposed "waitress" standing behind the counter texting, I doubt that'll be the place to have your lunch break...
Shocked
Best Burgers. Had Jus Burgers, Missy moos, Flipside, Gourmet on wray, Fab Burgers, Outback Jacks, at more cafes than I can remember, Maccas and HJs. Been to Retro Betty's at least ten times, Burgers always spot on and delecious, best aioli sauce, great milkshakes and generous serves of chips. Really disappointed with some of the reviews here. WOW!
Amy
Overpriced Junk. Revolting. Burgers were $18(ish) and were terrible. If you're paying just under $20 for a burger I would expect a little more than disposable plastic cups for water. Had to pay extra for sauce with our fries. Menus and upholstery were smeared & stained with food. Worst dining experience in years.
Janet Ewe
Yummy milkshakes and burgers. Salad is pretty crap though... Don't order that
Intdesign
Fairly decent. Had dinner here last night before catching a movie. We had the Buble (delicious) and the Bulldog (nice & spicy), a small chips and a couple of shakes. Used an Entertainment Book voucher which gave us 25% off, only paying $35 which I thought was reasonable, considering the amount of food we had. Service was quick and the burgers tasted fresh. Great quick bite before a movie.
Laura Espinoza Nazzari
Shakes were good. Wedges were coated in salt.
Gavin
Regrettable. Well over priced, tasteless burgers, very disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Macdonalds is gourmet compared to this place.
M
Overpriced. Poor service. Waited 30minutes to receive our meals - other people who had ordered after us received their meals within 10minutes of ordering. When we finally received our meals the hotdog grande was merely a bbq sausage in a 5minute oven dinner roll with toppings. Just an overpriced bunnings order. And they had a side of red cabbage on its own no dressing or anything and then the other plate had plain corn chips again by themselves nothing on them. Pretty disappointed and wont be dining here again. Ever.
Lachlan
One word describes everything.."rank"...although the pure blonde beer we had was outstanding...stay away...
David
Very Overpriced....Disapointed!!!. I'd walked past this place so many times before and it was always quiet. I personally do enjoy a burger and wanted to try it out so today my partner and i decided to give it a go whilst we were early for our movie. We sat down and read the menu....I nearly feel off my stool when i saw the prices, wow $17.95 for a burger!! I assumed i was in for a real treat so i ordered one along with a side of fries(the first time in my whole life fries didn't come with my burger i might add). I also ordered a milkshake. My girlfriend ordered from the kids meal 1 x serve of nachos, a side of fries and a milkshake.
The milkshakes came out first along with a personalityless waitress who did not smile nor did she ask who's milkshake was who's??? She just sort of slid them on the table a walked off????
My girlfriends nachos came out first, they looked good and in fact i tasted them and liked them. Unfortunately she doesn't like jalapenos and neither do any kids i know. A good 5 minutes later my burger came out, then the fries. At first glance my burger looked worse than if i had purchased it at a local welshpool lunch bar. Definately the same suppliers supply the lunch bars of Perth as Betty's Cafe. The paper wrapped burger looked like someone had stepped on it (very flat looking) & also had the paper stuck to the bun. The whole dining experience was a huge let down and wish i had saved my $60 and gone to a McDonalds 3 times over. Betty's was noisy; staff were unfriendly; well overpriced to the power of 3. I am very disapointed and would highly recommend any lunch bar burger over this place. This diner says its a family owned business and would be ashamed if this was my business. Perhaps this family should spend some time here.
Joedawn
Betty's or Ugly Betty's?. Unprofessional staff, limited choice, expensive and to top it all hair found in two of the four meals... Full refund given but would never set foot in the place again.
Kat
$4 for 250ml coke?. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS
Hungrycaterpillar
I dont think I'll be going back. $15 for a burger without any sides - I was expecting more than the soggy mess I received. It was far too messy to finish and i felt a little ripped off. On the upside, the kids meals were ok and came with chips. The wedges we ordered separately were ok too. After our meal we noticed the kitchen staff snacking on the odd chip/wedge in the kitchen (out of full view but we could see from our table). I wonder if our bowl may have originally been slightly bigger before the cooks had a nibble? Hmm... Anyway, im not completely dissapointed, but I certainly wont bother going back.
Chico
Disappointed with the quality. Extremely noisy environment. Over priced for what's provided. Not a good experience. Rather make my own burger
Natalie Johnston
Very disappointed with my meal at Betty's. I opted for the Hot Dog with a fancy name. Basically, I paid $15 for an oversized Bunnings sausage sizzle. Blah. Was very underwhelmed. The dry chopped cabbage on the side was anf interesting touch to the dish
Rob
Worst burger ever
Cluedo
Dessert could be improved. Burgers are delicious, but the buns can definitely use some improving! they are thin, and become soggy very quickly. But I do love the chips... finally a place that has a decent size serving! I would definitely not recommend the dessert though, after getting the rocky road sundae. Half of it was cream, and the icecream at the bottom was completely melted. and you are left feeling guilty for the next week after eating it.
Ronnie
Bland burgers. Went here before a movie.pretty bland and not as good as i hoped.$4 for a 250ml coke is a joke too
Mztiff
Expensive and underwhelming. This place use to do awesome diner-style food but unfortunately they have changed for the worst. The burgers are nothing special and quite expensive for what you get - cheap meats and not much love put into it.

The chips are also a rip, $8 for a box of soggy crinkled chips? I guess it falls in line with the other underwhelming eateries conveniently located to the cinemas.

Good stuff !!!. Great tasting burgers, make sure you have a big appetite!!
Add an order of wedges and a milkshake and you feel as though your in your local burger bar in the states, nice and fresh too

Good Burger Joint. On a stormy June night, we opted for Bettys as Dragonlady and Nedgirl where in the mood for hot chocolate.
Funny how things change.
Nedgirl opted for a large wedges with sweet chili sauce and sour cream and an Iced chocolate.
Dragonlady went with a Bettty Burger and a Cafe Espresso Milkshake,
I chose the Bulldog Burger and a Choc Honeycomb Shake.

The wedges were really hot and wonderfully crisp on the outside and a huge serve. Between 3 of us we didn't finish them.

The burgers were in really soft fresh buns and the meat patties were obviously home made. I don't know who got the rubbish about generic burgers but it wasn't true when we went.

The Bulldog has Jalapenos (loads of them) and a spicy salsa and was excellent. The heat did not overpower the burger and I could still taste the flavours of the Pattie and salad through the spice.

The shakes were great, but Dragonladys Espresso shake was powewrful in the coffee department. It took her a very long time to get to sleep.

We will return to this place.
SQUiD
Great for kids.... Tucked away next to the cinemas... this place is a pretty good choice for kids especially before or after a movie... spacious, plenty of tables and a few booths...

We opted for 2 x kids fish & chips - quite a big serve of chips and a reasonably sized battered fish fillet.. The beef burgers (Buble and Bundy) we ordered whilst not the best (generic bun with patties reminding me of those in the freezer aisle), weren't offensive either.... milkshakes were yummy, but WAYYYYY too sweet - your kids might be bouncing off the walls after one of theM! Everything came out promptly and all mains together - which is good.. nothing worse than cranky hungry kids!

Food is nothing remarkable.. if you want to get your burger fix i'd stick to the Urbanspoon favourites...i'd return - but only with the rugrats..

Good burgers and chips with aioli. Returned for the burger on a number of occasions before seeing a movie. Its good food, the bread is really soft and fresh and the beef burger was really meaty. yum

Food was quick and easy. Above average for casual dinner. Also there is booze to start a big might and milkshakes to get over one. :)

Really tasty burgers and cheap prices! The buns they use are better than jus or grilled burgers, really good menu. Also the sauces are free and the small chips are more like a large, love coming here

Oh how the mighty fall. Many are my fond memories of meals at the old Retro Betty's in Leederville and it was with these fond memories in mind that I decided to give Betty's Cafe (or whatever they are calling themselves this week) another chance. How wrong I was. This bastard step-child of Retro Betty's managed to dispel all of those memories in one fell swoop. Our burgers were luke warm and served on stale bread that had more in common with an old sponge. The chips were of McCain frozen variety. The milkshake was still ok... but all of this cost $50. Truly it was a case of McDonald's quality at gourmet burger bar prices. If you do decide to eat there... you've been warned.

Yuk. Stale bread, dry meat and an overall sense of crap food...never again!!!

Tasty!. I was at Betty's Cafe about 12 months ago, and very much enjoyed the food. We took my parents here when they visited Perth, because they prefer their food uncomplicated. I much preferred this store to the Leederville store, whose's music was too loud distracting when dining with friends. I have food allergies, and found the staff helpful in checking ingredients were Ok for me to eat. My Dad had a Betty burger, as did I, and my Mother had a chicken salad. The food arrived promptly, within 10 mins of ordering, neatly presented - not bad for a Saturday night I thought. My Dad, who generally isn't a burger eater, ate every bite! My Mother loved her salad, and everyone went home feeling very satisfied.

Disappointed..... CLOSED at 9pm on a Saturday night. Had been to a twilight footy match & left to meet friends there for late dinner. Had checked website & saw they were open for dinner (no specific time) only to arrive & find them shut. Store does not have their times advertised on the doors either. Used to be a favourite place to meet & eat... Not anymore, wont be returning or recommending.

Not bad. Don't expect too much and you'll enjoy this place. Counter service but staff were pleasant. Food was served quick, hot and surprisingly tasty. We all had burgers and walked away satisfied.

Good option if you're seeing a movie.... Their Betty burger with beef patty has a great "aussie" taste which includes beetroot in a nice damper style bun. Also if your a bit more hungry than usual the Big Betty includes an addition of bacon & egg... Friendly service and our burgers arrived within 5 minutes on a very busy saturday night...

For my daughters birthday we decided to keep it simple and take 2 friends to Timezone then lunch so off we headed to Innaloo. After an hour of games they were starving so we went across to Betty's and grabbed one of their cute U shaped booths.
