Came to gold class tonight with my husband. Must say that I’m a little disappointed with the service and food. Especially as we paid nearly $200 for food & drinks not including the $90 for tickets. Our different foods came at extremely late times to what we asked for them to come, a couple times we even wondered whether we need to go follow up. Not the best set up either, there are no service buttons so if you have a query with your order you would need to leave the movie and miss out on some of it to go speak to the staff. We got the ultimate date night package which we would only really say the salt & pepper squid was delicious. The nachos was alright but our sliders, chips and fondue was not the greatest. Also would not say the cocktails we got were worth $30. Mine was extremely strong which I have no qualms with but a cocktail is supposed to be pleasant - not like a cheap over poured cruiser. Anyway no issues with the staff themselves but definitely do not think the cinema is worth the price they charge! Would rather go to a place we know has great food and chuck a movie on at home next time… might save us a couple hundred 😂😂

When you pay the big bucks for Gold Class you expect the food to be great and on time. Our wedges came about an hour in (despite requesting them early with our drinks) and then me and my partner waited so long for our pizza (2 hours) that I asked for a refund. Save your money and go to Belmont instead. It's about half the price for Gold Class and your food actually comes out on time

I saw a movie alone that finished at midnight. When I left the movie, they had already locked the doors at the side entrance where I parked, but the kind employees offered to unlock the door for me and made sure I got to my car safely. Not only was the gold class experience amazing, but the staff are amazing and thoughtful too. Thanks guys.

Easy check in, whether it is with pre-purchased tickets or you are purchasing them there. Although the venue is closing down, the cinemas haven't been impacted. Still facilitating a great visual experience with impeccable speakers. No complaints.

A really lovely cinema to visit for a movie outing. Lots of variety in snacks, various styles of cinema to choose from and close to a number of restaurants if you want to grab a bite to eat before or after the movie. It's kept wonderfully clean, there's plenty of parking and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The cinemas have really upped their game. Self service check-in and tickets now which I thought was really easy and quick and a great addition. The seats can recline and have footrests now. It was clean and simple and the audio and video was great. Watched topgun maverick and although I haven't been to the cinema in ages, I did thoroughly enjoy the experience and will be back. If you want a chilled night out, definately a good option. Recommend

Not the best cinema experience but not the worst. Be very careful choosing seats in the vmax screen if you are pedantic about your movie experience. Be careful what seats you choose, the lack of adequate tiering on some VMAX seating can leave you with watching the back of someone's head movie issues. This is my local and I've only seen the one VMAX movie so far, so I'll work out which seats are the best in relation to farthest back from the screen without having to watch the movie through the back of someone's head. I feel like kids might have this issue more so. It would be awesome if they refurbished to address this what I feel is a big issue for the vmax screen though. Apart from this issue, there was good service, screen quality (no obvious spots/patches) and sound quality is very good.

Had the deep displeasure of seeing a movie here recently. Not local to the area so was not aware of the construction. The cinema barely looks open. The ticket counter is hidden behind a bleak looking 'cafe' and sells ice cold overpriced popcorn. The furniture left out is absolutely filthy, covered in debris and looks decades old. The worst was an older male employee who absolutely reeked of sweat and BO within a 2m radius. Multiple people I was with commented on the smell and we could not believe he was permitted to stand right outside the cinema doors after the movie ended. To top it all off the cinema seats are really quiet substandard compared to what other cinemas are offering. If you can't keep even basic standards of hygiene and cleanliness don't both staying open or at least drop your prices dramatically. Do yourself a favour and go to Hoyts.
