Food AMAZING 10/10
Service was lovely, staff polite and eager to help! Best feed we have had 5 days into our holiday! Thankyou UNION

Dinner here was tasty for me (ribs), and my son (fat Doug burger), however, my wife’s salmon was confused and just a conglomeration of poorly matched flavours that clashed rather poorly. The younger kids nuggets were straight from a bag. The reception we received was confused (we didn’t book but presented at 5.30pm), the wait staff didn’t seem to know what to do with us. But we’re ultimately helpful of not a little pushy to begin with. My wife had a glass of wine that was borderline too old, my beer was fine. I would like to try again after being recommended this place by a friend, but am not sure I will.

Wonderful to see the Union Bar open an operating again.
A gorgeous venue, a little expensive though but worth a visit.

Hmmm - sorry Union, I'm not at all a negative person but our experience this evening was less than average and not what we were expecting, having been given a recommendation to dine with you by our hotelier.
Marguerita - 4/10 - I watched the bar guy shake it & wifeys expectations were high - no oomph to it & it was clear looking & glass not full - no egg white. Queried the bar guy but he didn't get it. Draft beer was good.
Scallops starter - 3/10 - could have been cardboard..
Our main course Rump & Scotch fillets both looked the same - they tasted great but the accompanying pepper and red wine sauces weren't at all good - supermarket maybe?
Finally the 2 glasses of red! You have a weird wine list - it lists Shiraz, Cab Sav or Durif, but which brand? We asked the bar guy for "top shelf" - and were shown Angoves bottles with gold stars but what was served to us? I left half my glass of Durif on the table as didn't go much on its vinegar taste.
Went to pay & the bar guy said he would take it off the bill but he lied, and we paid $7 for that vinegar.
$140 for a lousy dinner experience!

The beef burger was excellent. Mouth melting.
Squid also mouth melting.
Warm and friendly atmosphere.

Well located near the centre of Inverell. Reasonable variety on the menu which are reasonably priced. Has a bar for drinks.

We have enjoyed a tasty breakfast and coffee here today. We have really enjoyed sitting outside watching the day unfold in the town's main street. Casual, easy and relaxed, you can order inside at the counter and the staff will bring your drinks and food to your table. Lots of people dropping in for their take away coffee. And it looks like your pooch can join you, supplied with a water bowl 🐶

Tonight we had the most amazing dining experience at The Union Expresso, Bar & kitchen .
Wonderful service , incredible food , delicious cocktails by the fire in the back dining room. The owner Friedy Meinel provided entertaining conversation and prepared a flaming crepes Suzette at our table . Duck confit cooked to perfection and Panko crumbed aubergine with chick pea sauce and roasted vegetables was divine . Highly recommend this restaurant! Wow!
