Excellent food and service. Oysters with gooseberry to the for. The pork perfectly cooked. Rendered to absolute perfection so that there was no stickiness to the tooth between the meat and the perfectly crackled skin. The steak cooked to perfection as well. Sides and wine divine too.

Had a lovely meal tonight at the Grain of the Silos restaurant. Our entire group were happy with their meals. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable. Great vegan options also. Would highly recommend.
Rodrigo our waiter was sensational, so pleasant great recommendation of wine. All i can say is taste bud sensation, the chefs really know how to plate up mouth watering plates. If this is the start of our tasmanian delight, can't wait for the rest of what tasmania has to offer. 💜. Great ambience. R

High quality food, bit pricey but done well. Especially loved the oysters, king prawns, quail and apple tarte tatin.
Was very eager to try this establishment after hearing so much about it, and I was rather underwhelmed. Entree was reasonably good, the main not spectacular - a dining companion had what appeared to be an appalling cook of a very expensive steak, and my companion expressed discontent at the offering
Wine list is pretty good, food is pretty good overall and cocktails are excellent. Breakfast was delicious, order from the prescribed menu though... as the sides are exorbitantly priced at $10 each for a smidge of mushrooms or even a spot of spinach which seems really bizarre. Lunch was lovely, my
