Review Beans & Greens Cafe - Ipswich

Awful coffee. Too hot, burning a tongue. These guys do a great job to make Toby's coffee tasting like 1 dollar 7-eleven coffee . Such a rip off for $5-40 per cup.

New owners are wonderful. Definitely stepped it up. Service really friendly and welcoming not too over the top. Great coffee with fussy milk options :-) . Great range of healthy food options, premade options. Will definitely be supporting this business in the regular. Thanks 😊

Visiting Ipswich and popped in for lunch after finding Beans and Greens on happycow. Staff very accommodating to vegan and GF diets. Particularly good cakes and treats. Got the nachos and there was a little too much greenery compared to beans and guacamole, otherwise all good. Also got the muscle milk smoothie. Bloody amazing. Really, really lovely staff. Reasonably priced and GREAT daily specials. Really good coffee.

What a delightful surprise in Ipswich! A basic menu but with plenty of options to customise your dish. Great open and breeze space with contemporary, house and alternative music. Coffee was delicious. Food crafted from high quality produce - the bacon was to die for

I was quite disappointed after my experience yesterday morning. I was ordering a coffee and the serving was very slow. There were 3 people behind the counter and yet it took nearly 20mins to make my coffee and there were only 2 customers before me. Whilst I was waiting, I noticed there were cockroaches on the floor next to the counter. Quite a disappointmenting experience.

Had a triple choc Acai bowl. Banana used was way too over ripe, to the point of almost mush. Berries used were soggy and mushy, frozen then had been thawed perhaps. Acai component did not taste nice either. Muslie was sparse and pretty ordinary. I've had Acai bowls all over brisbane ,gold coast and sunshine coast, I'm sorry, but this is probably the worst I have had. Would not return or recommend to others.

Delicious banana and coconut bread with a seriously generous side of butter to slap on it. Nice coffee, bit expensive for a Brisbanite. Very friendly and fast service.

Very expensive pile of undressed spinach with a blob of avo. I ordered the super greens upgrade of the avo on toast for $16.50. It didn't have any of the extras the menu said and the spinach was wilted. One of the servers was really struggling with the fact I paid cash and needed change.

Disappointed this is not original cafe. No fresh juices. Should not be purporting to be same place as was originally situated here. Food is very average. Surrounds are tired and no atmosphere.

First visit to Ipswich in quite a while. It was nice to find a cool spot, with nutritious food & reasonably priced. Only think was it lacked a little on the atmosphere front, which may have been to do with the slow trade.

Really thick, tasty acai bowl and smoothie made with unsweetened coconut water. Healthy BLT tastes amazing and pricing is fair. Pete is a friendly barista and is so polite and accommodating. Only reason this isn't 5 star is the opening hours which are limited and they don't open on Sundays which is unfortunate. Overall a beautiful little organic cafe with yummy food and acai.

Beans & Greens is on our list for its reputation as a really popular clean-eating café – just the thing for an early start to a weekend of touring and eating! Opened in 2014, the café is clean and fresh, a favourite with workers in surrounding buildings for its smooth Toby’s Estate coffee and welcoming service. Our Jerk chicken tacos piled up with guacamole and pickled slaw and the GreenBean Special of corn and zucchini fritters with poached eggs, locally sourced artisan bacon, and a garden of greens and marinated mushrooms are just two of the varied options on the all-day menu. Like many of the dishes, the ‘special’ is gluten and dairy free, with a vegan option available, but there’s meat on offer as well as lots of raw food options. Açai bowls, smoothies and fresh juices sit alongside coffee and turmeric lattes. Many ‘clean’ versions of popular dishes such as BLT, MLT, hotdogs, reubens and nachos offer a great alternative winter lunches.

I really love this cafe, every dish I've tried is so fresh, well cooked and well presented. The coffee and hot chocolates are lovely too. I would recommend it to anyone who wants goods value for money and completely healthy.

I love this place! The coffee is always on point! I also love the acai bowl. It just makes me feel full but still fresh and not bloated. Their vegetarian breakfast burrito also mouth watering. 💘💘💘 so much love for the girls too. Great vibes always happy, laughing at each other and invite customers into conversations. Its so welcoming.

Food is full of flavour and service is friendly and thoughtful. Relaxed atmosphere which was perfect for a casual lunch with friends. Will definitely be going back to try out the rest of the menu.

Super not impressed with my experience there. I have had their smoothies previously, and went to get two for my husband and I. I was the only person in there (except three people that came in 10 min after I arrived). All I ordered was two smoothies. It took them 15 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I was given my shakes. The first was made right away and sat there until they decided to make the second smoothie (by that time it was already melted). Then they had run out of lids for the smoothies. So they decided to take off a lid from one of the desserts in the fridge, rinse it under the sink, and then wiped it with the chucks rag that was sitting in the sick, and that I had just watched the girl making the smoothies use to wipe smoothie off of her arm, off of the bench, and around the blender. I don't know how long the chucks rag has been being used, or where (besides what I saw), but I think that that is disgusting. Especially since I am pregnant and more susceptible to germs that can be harmful to a baby.

It’s a fair trek from Brisbane but its definitely worth it! Ipswich and its surroundings have sure hit the jackpot with Beans and Greens, an all organic and wholesome cafe, opened 9 months ago!. While they are only new on the scene, they certainly have a passion and knowledge about health and organic produce, which is very clearly reflected in their beautiful food and drinks menu!

The coffee here just blew me away. I did not happen to notice it was one of my favorite blends (Toby's Estate) on the first sip though. The caramel tones coming through were amazing not to mention the smooth lingering mouthfeel. It was perfectly presented & poured with a great crema & the service was swift & friendly. Not only that they serve a brilliant range of organic foods which is right up my alley! So together with the rustic shop outfit (eg doors for tables) & all that wonderful lighting I just have to give it a 5 as I would travel from Kangaroo Point for this coffee-no dramas!! Thanks guys

The yummiest Toby Estate's coffee I have ever tasted is sold at Beans and Greens. I have been a regular customer since it first opened due to their range of healthy food options and their staff's welcoming and polite attitude. Their food is fresh and farm-grown which means that it is 100% authentic and natural, unlike other health cafes that order in all their ingredients from suppliers. This cafe has a lot of potential and is a big improvement for the Ipswich region in promoting a healthier lifestyle. Highly recommended to all.

Tamika and Staff were very friendly, patient, helpful and accomodating. The food was yummy. The price fair. The selection of GF/ DF food was good including the tasty cakes in the display fridge. Coffee and Hot chocolate were great with a range of 'milks' to choose from. Most everything was freshly prepared! The only tiny criticism that was made was that my partner's wrap's stuffing could have been a bit fuller. Otherwise a highly enjoyable experience with great decor and chilled vibe with great music. Would go again !

Disappointed.... I live locally and was excited to find out an organic cafe had opened in Ipswich. Took my mother there today (Saturday before Mothers Day) for lunch and it was not what I expected or was hoping for. It's a tiny venue with a strange seating arrangement with a couple of couches (too awkward to eat at) and some bar stool/bench seats and three tables on the footpath of the busy Limestone Street. Hate eating amongst the traffic fumes, but that's where we ended up. Found the menu to be quite limited. Ordered a chicken/salad/cheese wrap and a 'paleo hotdog' (boiled chicken sausage in a sweet potato which looked delicious on their Facebook page) and a 'recovery juice' (main ingredient watermelon). The wrap was yummy but overly crisp from the reheating, and the sweet potato hotdog was tasty but not warmed through properly, so a bit off putting. Found the staff unfriendly and even rude, particularly when the wrap was brought to our table and I asked if we could have cutlery and the waitress said we'd get it when the food arrived (sweet potato dish was still coming). I said, that food HAD arrived, and I got a eye-roll and a "I can see that". The fresh juice was good though but that's not hard. I don't drink coffee, so maybe that's their specialty and selling point, but from today's experience, I won't be going back.

Coffee was to die for.. Stopped to grab a quick coffee while my sandwich next door was being made. Wasn't expecting to be handed such a rich, smooth and creamy latte.

While coffee is always hit and miss, this was definitely a hit and it was out if the park. I can't speak for their for food though, it's organic which is a good start but you pay for it.

Great find. What a lovely little cafe, great service & food & coffee is divine. Well worth a visit.

Service was good as was the food. But $12 for two pieces of toast with avocado seems a bit steep to me.
