Decided to go check out this cute cafe and I could not fault it. I had the breakfast burger it had to be the best I have ever had, egg cooked perfect and the relish to die for. And the staff were so friendly

I dropped in this week and picked up coffee and a treat - the place was a buzz with people. I have to say that whilst the brownie was delicious, the wicked caramel slice was to die for and I was sorry that I only bought one :-)

Another breakfast at The Yard with friends, another delicious meal had! I love my little local, the food is always good, the coffee is divine and the service is wonderful. Tried the Mediterranean Haloumi Stack this morning, it was amazing!!

I have a particular way of eating and when it comes to cafe breakfasts, the main thing I don't want is bread. Most cafes breakfast menus are full of things on toast, wraps, burgers, and The Yard is no exception. So when I try out a cafe with no clear bread free options I usually ask for their bacon and eggs offering without toast. Most of the time, I get a cold plate with two eggs, two rashers of bacon and if I'm lucky, a token tomato. I was AMAZED at the plate served to me today at The Yard, when I asked much the same of them. Not only was there plenty there, but it was thoughtfully prepared and presented. The spices on the slice of avocado were a particularly delicious addition. To top it off the coffee was lovely. Too many cafes fail this basic step. These guys know whats up, so if you have yet to try them out, give them a go!

Incredible coffee. Great muffins and brownie. Excellent food selection, and it tastes as god as it sounds! I’m a fussy bugger, and I am very impressed. Polite and quick service too. I can’t fault it!

We’ve been here a few times and each time has been quite busy - but the food is pleasantly quick and so fresh. I’ve eaten both the garden bowl (with added chicken) and the Beetroot Hummus with Feta and neither have disappointed!
My only negative is that when we’ve visited and had our plates taken away, we haven’t ever been asked if we’d like another coffee/drink. This isn’t a big deal but would be an easy way to boost sales as we would have happily had another drink had we been asked.
