Great Cafe with lovely meals and Great Coffee. Meeting Friends here is such pleasure as you are able to Dine Inside with Air-conditioning or Outside with Fresh Air. Staff are Very Pleasant, Professional and Caring. Prices are Really Good.

I visited today by chance without knowing anything about the establishment. The venue is located near numerous medical facilities and is handy for a coffee or meal before an appointment. I ordered quickly from pleasant staff. I enjoyed my meal in the Al fresco area on a nice table well spaced from others. I enjoyed my meal and coffee which was delivered quickly. I certainly recommend it to others in the area and I will likely return again too.

Great coffee and yummy food, The staff are great and always smiling .I love the music that was playing in the back ground. very relaxing and lovely . the older lady working there made my day stopping to talk to me and having a laugh and fussing after me.

Clean and tidy with very friendly staff. Coffee nearly on the table before i sat down and hot. Bacon and eggs on toast spot on. I will return. Tks.

My wife and i had eggs Benedict for breakfast.. service was fast.. serving size was good.. loads of sauce made it even yummier.. only downer was the coffee.. not as nice a flavour as others I've bought elsewhere so i would assume its just the bean but in saying that i will still drink one with my beno next time

My daughter and i came in before i had my mri. Beautiful coffee, tasty smoothie carrot cake and chocolate brownie was yummy.... As a manager myself of a cafe you have awesome staff, food and coffee...

This was my first trip to Shakana's Cafe. I teally enjoyed the beef & gravy roll. It was tender, juicy and absolutely delish. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful friendly professional service. Great conversation and some of the best food in town. LOVE marshmallow caramel slice - my new found fav snack. I love that you guys have Zymil as well its the only place i know of around town with lactose free.

After an alarming number of bad coffees I have had at other places, it was quite refreshing to have not only a good coffee but a great one!

Best coffee

Shakana’s warm chicken salad is delicious. They also make some delicious sweets like cakes and slices. There is an extensive menu and would be great for a dine in lunch. Take away food around lunch hour may need to be pre ordered as they become quite busy. Coffee here is however is a little average.

Located right next to St Andrew’s Private Hospital Ipswich and nearby Roderick House specialist clinics, this cafe seems to be a local favourite. 24 choices of sandwiches on their menu, plus daily specials on the blackboard, I’m sure it’s not hard to fill your stomach.

My husband and I went there for a coffee and something small to eat. My husbands toasted sandwich came out a good 5 minutes before my scone. I was unimpressed with my dry scone and even less impressed at the fact that my jam was prepacked (good for hospitals and hotel/motels). Then finally our coffees arrived while my husbands was nice mine was weak and tasted like nothing more than warm milk. Doubt I will go back. It's a shame considering Shakanas proximity to the hospital and specialist doctors.

Overpriced and unimpressive. If you want the most expensive coffee in Ipswich go to Shakana.<br/>Not only is the menu extremely overpriced, the coffee isn't great, and the service is poor.<br/>The lady who clearly runs the place is delightful, but the waitresses were rude and treated me like I was an inconvenience.<br/>Definately would not go here again.
