Review Mihi Tavern - Ipswich

We had our wedding reception here in the outdoor bistro area in November 2021 and I could not recommend this place any more. You could not fault the service and efficiency from the staff, staff that weren’t even allocated to our event were warmly greeting and chatting with my guests. The venue manager Stuart was a pleasure to deal with, and took alot of the stress away from the whole planning and running of the event I put my trust into this tavern to be apart of one of the most important night of our lives, and they did not let us down in the slightest. Thanks team for everything!

What a great night. We booked and igloo with friends and shared in one amazing feast. The food was incredible, Steak, salmon, chicken satay and tacos. There was nothing that I could fault. Thank you Mi hi for and enjoyable evening. Great value for money 💰

Had dinner last night. Always greeted by smiling happy staff. The meals and service always fabulous. The steak I had last night was best I’ve tasted. The chocolate brownie dessert was beautifully presented with little edible flowers over it. So scrumptious. Highly recommend dining here.

I only ordered the parmigiana, but it was probably one of the best I've had. Others at my table ordered the ribs and the Chicken Supreme. Equally high raves about the meals. Will absolutely come again! Prompt service with a smile. I'm glad it's not too far from home!

We held our wedding reception here, just yesterday, 25th June 2022. Wow! We booked quite late, but Matt and all the staff, were incredibly helpful in every way. We had the outdoor area exclusively which suited us perfectly and the food and service were nothing short of perfect. The food in particular was delicious and there was so much of it! We were all very impressed and highly recommend the Mihi for any function you may be planning. A very big thank you for the care and attention we received!

We recently arranged a 90th birthday surprise at the Mi Hi Tavern for my mother. The staff were extremely accommodating, polite and courteous. Nothing that we asked for was a bother to them throughout the booking process and on the day. Food, service and hospitality were exceptional. Thank you for helping to make a wonderful memory for my mother. I would highly recommend holding a function or get together at the Mi Hi.

First time we had been there since the flood and their rebuild, lovely venue, good food...what more do you want. Also they had a good selection for kids. Our little grandson had his favourites...pasta, corn on the cob, chips and gravy.
