Review Pho Express - Ipswich

BEWARE OF RIP OFF!!! Went for dinner with the family last week and total cost was $125, Waiter tried to charge me $129, when I mentioned her total was in correct? She then informed me that the milk tea were $5.5 not $5 (we purchased 4)as advertised on their menu? Which should bring our total to $127? She then re calculated it and got a total of $130 SMH... When asked she said the fried rice had gone up from $14.5 to $17 as well, which she did not mention in the first calculation nor was it updated on their menu.

We decided to visit @Pho Express because of the good reviews and boy am I glad we did! I ordered the Chicken Pho Soup and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. So so so mouth watering! Also the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean and well set out. I highly recommend dining here!

We were really tempted to try the Pho here as they say it is Vegan. The Staff are ok and friendly enough. The Pho was reasonable enough and the setting was nice. the problem though is that the Pho with Meat is $11.50 and the Pho without Meat is $15.50. Considering it is much more expensive to have meat it seemed a little bit of a rip-off. The broth tasted just like onion soup...

I ordered 2x bbq pork wontongs soups and the wongtongs where days old off. literally I bite into it and can taste and smell how off the pork is went back to get a refund and lady complained saying her food was good and not off as I stood they argued only for a refund for one of the soups. Showed her the wongtongs and she said it was still good I asked if I could have it back and smell it to prove which one she said no just take the refund as if she already knew and played dumb. Never going back to this place again typical..

Good food but the sales woman charged extra when doing an atm transaction. Make sure you check they're not trying too rip you off.

Very good broth, traditional pho, large portions and chilli's on the side so you can add as needed. Clean space and great customer service.

I have just recently found this store in Redbank plains and it is the BEST Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The staff are friendly and the food is SO DEILICOUS. We ordered Tofu Pho and it had so much flavor in the broth. If your a fan of Bubba Tea, this is the place to get them. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I have been back so many times. 10/10

The food is always delicious and full of authentic flavour. For someone who misses the Vietnamese food in south west Sydney, this is an amazing find. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Pho broth was very very bland and not having any fresh chilli or any chilli on tables except Siracha sauce and no bean sprouts along with the pho. Was a small serving but you get what you pay for with price though as it was cheap.

One night a friend of mine suggested to eat here and I have a few goodies and cons to point out about this nice little restaurant. I opted to try out their traditional special beef noodle soup (Pho Dac Biet) as I like to taste and compare differences from every other restaurant and give my thoughts and opinions on it.

So, here's what I liked:

- Clean and fresh restaurant setting/decor with a feeling of being welcomed.
- Staff were very friendly, attentive and on point with their customer service.
- Quality of food is authentic, enjoyable and quite tasty.
- Bubble/Milk tea is a great addition for those that crave and want this near their area.

Now, here's what I didn't like and/or what could've been better:

- Dining area wasn't as spacious as I thought and could only fit in 3-4 tables which limits the amount of people that could eat in. So if it's busy, takeaway is most likely your option if you plan to dine in.

- In terms of portion size and quantity, the beef noodle soup that I had came out in a small bowl and this was not what I expected and could've been much better. I didn't feel satisfied, and left still feeling hungry. This is just a heads up for those that value bang for buck and quantity as much as I do because who wants to leave still feeling hungry, am I right?

Otherwise, this restaurant serves up quite some delicious food with a small menu variety and has exceptional customer service but it's something I won't likely consider again for a revisit after my first experience unless I get invited to come here again.
