Welcoming staff, nice setting and great food. We had the eggs Benny and an avocado, halloumi toast. It was fantastic and the homemade hollindaise was also great! Well done team :)
Ordered a Banana smoothie and it tasted pretty much like straight Greek yoghurt, so then ordered a caramel milkshake to wash it down and it was room temp at best. Maybe I got these guys on a bad day (Easter Friday - it was very busy) because they have decent reviews but it was pretty bad. The staff
Ellen and Rod is our go to local for anything coffee/breakfast/lunch related. We have always found Pete and the staff to be friendly and accommodating. The coffee is the best we can find in Ipswich and the food is amazing! Great service and would not hesitate in recommending Ellen and Rod to anyone.
Great little hidden gem of a cafe in Ipswich. A real locals Cafe with good coffee and brunch meals. Look out for the photos of cute doggies adorning their walls.
