Great spot to sit in the morning sun and enjoy fantastic coffee. Absolutely love the shop and friendly staff! By far the best coffee in ipswich!
What a find! Incredible food and coffee in a little tucked away spot. The huevos rancheros were delicious, as was the fruit toast. Looking for more excuses to visit Ipswich now.
All that I can say is that these guys make GREAT coffee. They have fantastic staff and a great setting (a little hidden though). Please try the Cold Brewed Coffee, I have literally hundreds of times!
I adore this hidden gem. The coffee is the best in Ipswich, even Queensland so far. I love the menu and the atmosphere. Coffee is roasted Tuesday and Thursday. Ive never been anywhere I can choose from at least 7 single origins. Worth finding. Hidden behind Heisenberg Haus, Brisbane St ipswich.
The atmosphere of Dancing Bean is lovely and we found a great little spot in the sun. The bitter lemonade was delicious and the staff were very patient checking out food items for my low fodmap and veganism. I ended up having a double helping of their thick cut sourdough with natural peanut butter which was absolutely divine. I could have sat in the sun all afternoon but alas adulting was required.
My wife and I went to dancing bean for the first time today, despite being local. It's hidden down a bit of an alley so we weren't sure we were going to right way but then looked around the corner and the place is so cute and modern and so beautifully decorated! We got a table by the ledge of the massive open windows and sat in the sun which was so nice. There were some vegan options for us to choose from and the staff were super friendly and more than happy to replace some items with others at no extra charge to make dishes vegan friendly. The mushrooms are amazing and so is the bitter lemonade, and the hummus was so delicious, one of the best I've ever had. I'm not a coffee drinker but I have a feeling if I was this place would be heaven as all the different types of coffee and blends were on the board and looked pretty impressive. Overall a really lovely experience Syd
Tucked in behind Heisenberg Haus, Dancing Bean Roastery is a newcomer to the town. Founded by Rob Mergard in 2009 in Banyo, Brisbane, the business moved to Ipswich in 2016. We’re greeted by Nao, the roaster/barista, who has been roasting for eight years. Using only the highest grade of coffee beans from about 13 different countries, Dancing Bean is a small roaster which tailors its coffee to customer needs. Nao designs a new blend every year, his Ipswich Blend earning two silver medals in the Golden Bean, adding to the 24 medals he’s earned in the past five years. Dancing Bean coffee is sold throughout Queensland, including on the Gold Coast at Up Espresso, Old Danube and Marzi’s Café Apfelstrudel. Dancing Bean is the major roaster in Ipswich, its warehouse and adjoining café open daily to the public for the sale of light food, coffee, wholesale beans, barista supplies and equipment. And the name? Nao says that the last bean always dances, not wanting to take the journey down into the grinder.
