This would have to be the most inviting cafe around. Not only do they make great coffee but the ladies make you feel welcome.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! New owners have taken over and would love to get any regulars in for a brand new experience. Always there with a smile and a chat, also with a brand new menu!!! Tasty homemade food, and some old favorites still available. Coffee is super tasty with the owner having previous coffee making experience. Pop in today to meet Trish & Rick Patterson

Bad service. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I recently bought a milkshake from this café. My milkshake had small pieces plastic through the drink.
When I called the café to express my concerns, the staff I spoke with was very blazie and really didn't appear to be too concerned that I had perhaps drunk small pieces of plastic that obviously had broken off in the process of making the drink.

Wild Poppy this service is appalling!!!! Complaints to food and safety departments will be made.
To all considering patronising this venue think again!

Not negotiable on menu items or price. I had the vegetarian breakfast and said to the friendly waitress that i do not eggs. So she removed the two fried eggs but charged me the same. I asked if i get more of something else as i am not having eggs and paying full price. I was told no as the owners do not do that. The waitress was very subtle. I got my breakfast and i got the 3 smallest peices of haloumi, half a tomato and half cooked spinach. The sourdough which was supposed to come woth the meal was thin and rye bread and monopolised majority of the plate. In a business it cannot be all take and no give. I will not be back and will no longer support this cafe, there are other great cafes in ipswich which i would prefer to support.

Breakfast Regular. I have to say, for the area, Wild Poppy Cafe is a great Cafe that produces great food with friendly service.

We've had breakfast here a few times in the last month and each time has been consistently good with food and coffee comming out hot and fresh with minimal wait. The breakfast menu is reasonably priced with great alternative options and nice coffee.

The seating inside can be a little akward with odd shaped tables that dominate the room however this is a minor critique.

Like it alot!

The food was fantastic, great honest food with a menu to satisfy most tastes
The 70s decor is very apealing and is most enjoyable to enjoy the meal

Old reliable! Simple meals done well and generous servings. Coffee is always good and the service is friendly. The salads and cakes are amazing - always super fresh and delicious. One of the good ones in old Ipswich town.

A favourite. WPC has become one of my favourite places to meet friends and colleagues. I visit weekly. I have not had a disappointing coffee yet (flat white on soy) and the service is always top notch. The food is fantastic and well-priced. Space can be an issue if eating indoors, however, there is ample space out in the courtyard.I love that there are so many different kinds of people there when I visit and I'm yet to experience any real problems here.

This place is old fashioned home style cooking, very cheap and basic, but yummy if that's what your looking for. Coffee is good, the barista is very friendly. The cakes look yummy! Spacious and good service, decor a bit daggy. But I liked this place. Hope it goes well.
