Review Go Sing Chinese Restaurant - Ipswich

They were so busy that I had drive in to speak to someone. BEST RESTAURANT! I have been going to this place for years and never had a complaint. They separate the the sweet and sour sauce from the pork for you so you can decide how much sauce you want. This place has the best customer service even in rush hour which is when the front desk is flat out! If you eat here you will be an addict like me 🍲 🍲 🍲. Thanks for the great food.

Pretty sad when you order 5 takeaway meals and they HALF FILL 2 of them and then wouldn't answer there phone. I know times are tough but no excuse when you pay for meals that are half full. Will not be doing business with them anymore

Have you ever closed your eyes and pictured your idea of hell? Well… After eating the food here. I can honestly say without any jest that eating at Go Sing will most assuredly be my version of hell for the foreseeable future. Now let’s get the positives out of the way: The food was out quickly. It’s a shame however that the food tasted about a week old. The rice in particular had the texture of rubber and the sweet and sour pork was tougher than a leather boot. Quite frankly I’ve had better Asian food at the local food court and at least the food there is fresher than the disgusting excuse for food they charge far too much for at this establishment. If that wasn’t bad enough, the place stank and honestly was so gloomy and depressing I would forgive anyone for thinking they just stumbled onto the set of a low budget horror film. Anyway give my compliments to the microwave out the back because he seems like he works a lot back there and I think it’s only fair you gave Chef Mike a pay raise. I would have given this place zero stars but apparently one star is as low as I’m allowed to go.

Have been chasing good old fashioned Chinese food in Ipswich for some time. A friend recommended Go Sing. Very pleased with the whole dining experience. Will definitely return. đź‘Ť

We have been eating Asian food for 40 years and this Worse Asian food I have ever had the fried rice tasted burnt and was unpalatable, the satay had a chemical funky taste the chicken and corn soup had no chicken in it and was very watery the vegetables in the chow mien were rock hard and not cooked properly will never go there again waste of money and the staff were rude. Asian Delicasies down the road is 1000% so much better with larger servse better prices and real authentic tasting food.

Absolutely delicious food! The satay in my opinion is the best! Friendly staff and prices were reasonable! Will come back for sure.

Front of house staff working the front was rude and short with me forcing me to order things I didn’t want. Food took 25nin after delivery eats was heavily prioritised. Kid vacuumed the restaurant right in the middle of service. The staff failed to greet the new guests instead frequently talking to delivery staff. The front of house staff was short with most customers and food orders were kept on the counter going cold. When I got home my chicken chow mein was just cabbage and onion and a few miserable pieces of chicken. Our honey chicken was cold and stringy maybe from the leftover lunch menu. Satay beef was cold and dry and the sauce was congealed. I will definitely not eat there again. Anonymous

The sevice was slow, rude wait staff and food was cold and did not come out at the same time. We ordered dessert and 2 came out after 15 mins than the 3rd dessert didnt come out until 2 other people finished theirs. Would not recommend it to anyone and would not go back.

We will never eat from this place again. The fried rice was bland, no flavour what’s so ever. We ordered a prawn dish, beef dish and a combination satay dish. They all tasted disgusting. I cannot believe you are serving these dishes to customers. I could go on and on about how bad these dishes were but I fell sick just thinking about it.

Delivery was to be an hour and a half. Ok. 20 mins after delivery time I called and was advised it was on its way. Another 30 mins and I called back this time not impressed. He told me it was with the driver. I said thats what I was told half an hour ago. He gave me every excuse. He also said why didn't I just come and pick it up myself. I got nearly mad at him and said that his review was not going to be good and that I didn't want cold food. I insulted him and hung up. He called back and refused to deliver and told me I needed to arrange a refund thru the app as I didn't pay him I paid them. Absolutely the rudest person I have come across and his excuses got me so mad I'm embarrassed at my reaction. Absolutely appalling. From what I've read I'm not missing out on anything as the food is apparently as appalling as his customer service. Do not recommend

Decided I would treat my kids and get Chinese delivered, spent $97.81 on potential salmonella. It arrived in a plastic shopping bag, not an insulated bag. The Mongolian beef was like eating beef jerky in too much sauce, the pork ribs was battered pork fat, the rice was disgusting, honey chicken had pieces that were extremely cold (as in just out of the fridge cold), everything had fat too much sauce, giant pieces pieces of onion and carrot. It really was a major let down. I hope my dogs appreciate their bear on $100 meal because we didn't, we all ended up having toasted sandwiches because the food was inedible. Cold chicken, clean up your act Go Sing!!!!

Worst chicken chow mien ever! Chicken was grey, noodles were few and everything else was cabbage. The restaurant has a funky fishy smell and was empty for a reason.
