Review Rhino Cafe - Ipswich

Jamie Hay
An excellent little cafe, based on my visit for breakfast. Good range of breakfast choices at very reasonable choices. My eggs Benedict for 11 dollars was huge. Large serving of bacon, two poached eggs, spinach on sour dough, with an enormous dollop of hollondaise sauce. It was delicious. Quick service, friendly staff.

The owners are really nice if you get served by them. Other staff are obnoxious and rude. Coffee is really good.

Steer clear of this place.. Went there for lunch today ordered Nacho's, no sour cream to go with nachos, no beans.. Put complaint on their facebook page, only to have Rhino. reply with complete lies.. Saying they gave us a discount, lie, that they offered us an alternative to not having sour cream, another lie.. Spoken rudely to by staff member Most interesting part is Rhino deleted our complaint off their facebook page and blocked us.. Great way to. run a business. Will never return. I will be telling everyone I know not to waste your hard earned money going there..

Walked in with my two kids 10 min before close (the open sign was hanging too) and the rude staff lady cut me off rudely saying no we are closed sorry. I asked if I cannot buy a drink for the kids may I get some quick change for the parking metre. To which she replied no my banking is done. If your that keen to knock off lady then don't work there! Do not go here staff are aggressive and rude.

Have been so many times to this perfect placed coffee shop, always a happy 😁 face when ordering & bringing the food & drinks to your table. Always go beyond customer service to make your little solitude become a sanctuary. Will be back soon 😎

It's a great place for a coffee and/or lunch. The staff are friendly. Most importantly, it has a counter where you can pick up your coffee from inside the library!

The food was ok nothing to inspire me to go back there. The staff looked like they were dressed for a day at home on the couch. Overall, not impressed

The Rhino Cafe is a hidden gem in Ipswich, great to unwind with a good coffee. The food is always delicious and wonderful friendly service.

The Rhino Cafe recently catered a three day corporate event in Ipswich. Not only was the food excellent, but the cafe provided delivery three times each day, to ensure each meal was fresh. We received fresh fruit and pastries for breakfast, tea and coffee, assorted sandwiches, and tea and cookies in the afternoon. The delivery was prompt and the staff was in constant communication as needs changed over the three day event. The staff provided special dietary meals with short notice, and even provided a special birthday cake for one of the participants. I highly recommend Rhino Cafe for any and all catering events without any hesitation! I look forward to working with them in the future!

I love this little cafe. Friendly service and full of chilled vibes. Easy access to the library for my yoga studies. I love the convenience of these two places as one.

The food is good and at a fair price, servings are very generous, staff are friendly, cafe is not crowded, quite, could use a dusting though.

Amazing coffee. The breakfa.... Amazing coffee.
The breakfast muffins are pretty great, too. I would travel to Ipswich just for the coffee, though.

Great coffee especially if made by Miguel
Now compare all coffee against hi New York flat white

Everything awful. Bacon was raw. 2 tsps mushrooms swept to floor when I tried to cut hard sausage that was like wood.

Half a Roma tomato was a bit stingy.

Toast was cold. No butter.

One tiny, thin napkin wrapped around cutlery. .. It was a greasy breakfast after all!

Everything smacked of "how cheaply can we do this?"

Never again.

Miserly presentation, food-wise and accessories.

Hope you've counted your beans, Rhino.......you need to....no-one will come back again.

Diana. Great concept having a cafe right inside/next door to library in Ipswich. One can choose to partake coffee relaxing with a library book or inside the actual cafe. The coffee is not bad at all & they have a great selection of cakes etc
