This is the best pizza in the area and definitely the best in the strip. Top quality ingredients and the base is cooked perfectly. Friendly staff too!
Nice pizza, traditional thin base with crispy chewy crust, we got the Margherita with buffalo cheese and the arabiatta (chilli/garlic/salami) which were both flavourful and hit the spot.
Came upon this place by accident and glad we did. The pizzas were a decent serving and delicious. The gnocchi was so soft and fluffy. The service was 10/10. My family and I will definitely be back.
We visited here last night on the recommendation of friends and family. It did not disappoint. Pizzas were authentic and a large range to choose from. Pasta dishes were homemade and good quality produce. Seafood was fresh and cooked well. We will definitely be back again soon.
Went here for dinner last night my hubby and it was FANTASTIC! We ordered the calamari with prawns as an entree to share and the coating was light and tasty and the seafood was fresh. I ordered the caprese pizza and my husband ordered the Calabrian pizza. Both pizzas were cooked to perfection and the pizza base was different than all other pizzas. It was tasty, light and delicious. We had a glass of wine each and really enjoyed seeing the world go by as we sat on the bench overlooking the road. A great place to dine and the atmosphere was warming! The Nutella doughnuts hit the spot and were so yum! Thank you pizzami we will return!
Great pizzas!!! Legitimate traditional base. Tried al crudo, primo amor, and pizzami pizzas. The crown jewel was al crudo! Perfect combination of intents, not too salty, not too cheesy, just perfect. Primo amor was good too, however the cherry tomatoes were scarce a bit more or sliced would make it even better. The pizzami was good too but a bit more spice was needed, it need that wow factor. Despite this I would return to this place. I did not dine in so I cannot speak about the service but our takeaway order were completed really fast.
Cute little restaurant, and good location. Really good service with helpful staff. Especially helpful because ordering vegan food at an Italian restaurant can be a little bit tricky.
We only had take away but the pizza was great and it was delivered promptly. I would definitely go here some day for a meal as its also very conveniently located.
Sat in the back.. great ambiance and very friendly and attentive waitresses.The pizza was great with a light base and crispy crust.The Arancini balls were abit on the greasy side. I would reccomend trying the pizza however I would call ahead to make a booking for dinner during weekends as it does tend to get abit busy
We had a lovely dinner here. We had the garlic focaccia，pizza dylan and boscaiola pizzas. Really enjoyed them， the bases were loevly and thin，and definitely willing to come back to try other pizzas (not to mention the pastas).
Pizza can only be so good and Pizzami gets there Italian style. Let's face it, at the top end there is an element of personal preference but then it's all down to the dining experience and the spin off of your party. We rated 5 because this is the best experience from our traveled group of food lovers.
First time was good, second time was ok, third time was average. Didn't love the soggy rocket which is put on before it goes in the oven as opposed to having it fresh on top. It becomes really stringy and the stalks get stuck down your throat. Also their pizza is never cut well. The dough however is fantastic!
Lovely crispy, fresh and flavourful pizzas. Eggplant wedges are great. Staff is always professional and helpful. Take away is super quick - and you can get pizzas delivered to the table in wine bar next door! Would highly recommend.
Yum! Great little restaurant. We got in early before heading off to the city saturday night. Pizza was about 10mins. Great tasting! All the staff were lovely. All young and friendly, look like they enjoy working there. Which is a compliment to the owners.

On a Saturday night we ventured to Pizzami, hoping for a great feed, or any feed really given that we didn't have a booking. Having been there in the past, I was hoping to be seated in the beatiful outside courtyard. However, we opened the door to find the place pretty full. When asked if there was room for us, the lady behind the counter gestured vaguely in the direction of a spare spot near the front of the shop, making us feel like a burden. Service was average and sitting inside is cramped, dingy and unpleasant, nothing like I experienced sitting there outside in the past. Pizza was decent (i always order the pumkin pizza), however in my eyes could not make up for the poor reception we got. I would have liked to try the nutella donuts for dessert but frankly couldn't wait to get out of there. Overall i would give it another chance but definately make a booking to sit out the back because it is much more pleasant. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night but all staff seemed unhappy and stressed and we really felt like a burden.
Delicious pizza & pasta. Home made cannoli with ricotta is a must try. Staff very friendly & welcoming. Seriously good food. Will definitely be back.
Love the pizzas here they do them like in Europe. Fresh and tasty ingredients. Everyone is always happy they also have a nice courtyard out the back
Excellent dinner. We really enjoyed the pizzas. Pizzas reminded me of the ones we ate in Italy. There is a nice undercover court yard at the back.

Best of the traditional restaraunts. Had a few pizzas take away, they are the old school authentic ingredients etc, bases are lovely, better than anything else around, you. don't feel. yucky after eating its very light flavours. However it doesnt have the gourmet ranges that modern restaurants do, but its not trying to be one of those restaraunts!
Service was good and the food was decent enough. Nothing to get excited about but adequate for a quick feed during the week
Authentic. Such a lovely place the rear courtyard is just the place to dine with the family. The Pizza and other menu items are all reasonably priced and the variety is great. I love the toppings, generally and that fact that there is not too much on each pizza. This place has always been worth a return visit.
My all-time favourite place for Pizza! With a choice of pizza bases (inc gluten free) you can choose the exact type of pizza you love!

Recently moved to Heidelberg, finally found Pizzami after trying half a dozen other rubbish pizza restaurants in the area. These guys back up the premium price with quality ingredients and generous servings.

Consistently, the pizzas are of outstanding quality. Thin and crispy base with delicious toppings. Flavour and texture in perfect unison, easily the best I've eaten together with pizza meine liebe.
The reviewer at the bottom is right; don't come here for a stodgy, sloppy base liberally smothered in cheap unrecognisable meats and tasteless cheese. The pizzas at this place are all class.
Best pizza in Melbourne and in my top 5 pizza restaurants in the world. Big call but justified, the ingredients are always fresh and perfectly prepared. Get a calzone for some extra "wow" factor.
Fab and real Italian pizza. Our Italian friends recommended. Authentic gourmet pizzas and rocket and parmesan salad, perfect. Great little courtyard out the back. We get a medium each, never room for dessert, though they look delish. Good coffee. Perfect for functions. Reasonable prices for quality meals. Stay away if you are a meat lovers or supreme pizza fan. Our local after the Heidelberg Amici changed hands. BYO.

My favorite pizza place in Ivanhoe. Great selection of pizzas with gourmet ingredients. Good atmosphere out back although the table is usually on a slant! Nevertheless I love eating here.
Delisssssssssshhhh!. The first time i ate here i tried the fig and Gorgonzola pizza from the specials board and it was divine! (the closest one available on the main menu is pear and Gorgonzola). Last week, i tried one of the special board pizza in the form of a calzone and again it was great! My friend who is gluten free actually commented on how good the gluten free base was and we keep coming back regularly. Can be a little warm outside in the alfresco area as it is covered, but the service we received was fantastic! The lovely lady with a french sounding accent was very patient and polite. Great staff. Thank you for 2/2 recent great experiences.

Nice staff and nice hear rhe fire while waiting for your pizza. It was great that front of staff were still wearing their masks and sanitised after a cash transaction. Will attend shortly as the pizza wasn't too heavy wasn't too much cheese wasn't too much bacon or ham just very pleasant tasting.
Seafood pizza was a nice addition to wine! I've ordered pizza from them for many times and always enjoyed the dough. Today it was perfect as usual, thanks, you make the end of the week brighter!
randomly select the shop even though there are a few pizza shops on Upper Heidelberg Rd but I didn't regret my choice. I'm so much in love with the base. The edge is chewy when it's warm. Ingredients taste nice too! Next time will try to dine in!
Authentic rustic wood fired pizzas. Delicious fresh dough. A massive range of choices including a range of white sauce pizzas. The mushroom and truffle salami pizza was amazing. Also ordered a lamb salad and the meat was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and served in a traditional Mediterranean style.
Always love coming to eat at Pizzami. They have the fluffiest pizza bases and the ingredients are fresh and very good quality 😊

Hadn’t tried Pizzami because they aren’t on the delivery apps we use. So glad I went in to pickup - best pizza I’ve had in a long time.
I had the privelege of attending Pizzami this week and was overwhelmed with the quality of the dough, the toppings and the service. Our pizzas were prepared with all the passion and care of someone who cares deeply about their ingredients and customers, and were delivered, piping hot, to our table within minutes of ordering. Given an impending lockdown I was surprised to find the restaurant so busy with dine-in and takeaway customers. I now understand WHY!
Fresh ingredients, fluffy dough, wide range of menu options, attentive and respectful service, gluten-free base options - what's not to love.
Definitely an amazing Italian pizza experience and worth travelling for. In fact, this was the best pizza I've had in over 25 years and I will be returning repeatedly in the future. If you live locally you would be remiss not to indulge yourself at Pizzami at least weekly!
Spectacularly good pizza. The crust was premium sour dough and topping ingredients very high quality and we'll proportioned. Will go back soon.
