🔥Pork Ribs and T-bone Steak 🥩
I love trying local pub food when doing a road trip! Stopped by here for dinner on the weekend and loved it! Although it was a little pricey for pub food, it is worth the try! 👌🏼
Ordered: Spiced Rum BBQ Pork Ribs with Coleslaw, Corn and Chips $30 and T-bone steak (450g) with Chips🍟and Salad🥗 $32.
The T-boned steak was divine and melt-in-mouth 🤤. I also enjoyed the coleslaw salad with the ribs and the Service was good and had a nice view.
Would recommend this pub if you swing by Jindabyne during snow season! ❄️☃️
Third time coming back to the Brumby on the weekend, a place I check out when going down for a snow weekend. They seem to improve every year! The menu has a great selection and the kitchen staff really know what they're doing. I noticed they have a note on the menu that they don't allow changes to the meals.. I love this idea as it enables quicker service for all patrons and also means they can nail the flavours every time (I can't stand people who request changes to their meals - it's a bar not a butler service!) Will be coming back for years to come.
Bloody good mix platter, definitely more than enough serving for one person. Mushroom sauce was a beauty and the baked potatos were a winner.
Service was good and friendly staff. Owned by family who were attentive to the locals but also the new folks. Awesome work guys!

Nothing to complain about. On a recent weekend in Jindy with my bestie, we wandered in here for dinner on a Friday night. Firstly it was a lovely atmosphere and we scored a table near the wood fire - bonus on a cold September night. The menu is pretty standard pub fare with a few specials available. I was being a bit boring and ended up with my go-to pub meal of a schnitzel, chips and gravy - and this was good. Nothing to write home about - but then schnitzel rarely is, it's just a yummy standard. My bestie ordered the pork belly and really enjoyed it - although it was a huge meal with three enormous slabs of pork belly and a large mound of mash beneath it - I snagged a bite and the flavours were delicious. But it was all a bit too much and probably a little too rich by the end of it. Still a great meal for a hearty appetite and you certainly couldn't complain about the cost.
The place was pretty full and there was a DJ starting up around 9.30pm as we left - definately recommend if you are after a decent pub meal.
Great steaks and salad, good for after ski. One of the few good places open all year round in Jindabye
