Very friendly and quick service. We ordered spicy prawn & jungle curry. The food are very nice maybe need more in quantity.
Great 2nd visit. The host was accomodating, we called in just after 8pm and could see it was busy/full but were lucky to get a table for two and yes you can BYO. The waitress took our order promptly and asked if we’d like our entres and mains seperate or all together, we chose separate.
Soups were spot on, fresh and flavourful.
Mains; pork mince and king prawn noodle salad and chicken stir fry were nice and spoicey. Most enjoyable and good sized serves for us, and we like to eat;)

Satay chicken was juicy, Pad Thai noodles full of flavour with lots of chicken and prawns and Lamb Red Curry had just the right amount of heat.

The staff are great and fast service!! The food came out so quick and it was definitely the best thai ive had so far in perth! ! I ordered prawn penang!! So many delicious big prawns and hubby had red curry. He was very happy. Our 2.5y old had satay chicken and licked it clean!

Pretty decent quality of food, although it is a little out of the city centre. They have some good spring rolls and the coconut chicken dish is delish.
It's been here 8 years and only just discovered it, it won't be 8 years until we come back. Very tasty dishes with fresh produce, couldn't fault anything we tried. Selection was great, Service was spot on and food memorable. Thanks! We will back 👍
It is a cozy little place in Joondalup. Although it is known as a Thai restaurant, this venue serves dishes from Singapore such as curry puffs too. My wife and I had fish cakes, pad Thai chicken, Tom yum chicken and rice, and sticky brown rice for dessert. Fish cakes are delicious. Tom yum is tasty, although ingredients are slightly adjusted to Aussie taste. Pad Thai reminded us of Bangkok. Finally brown sticky rice was sumptuous.
Honestly I think this is the best Thai I've had in Perth. We ordered the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soup, the phenang pork curry, peanut veggies and Tom yum fried rice. They were all AMAZING. Decent servings, and the service is great. Will be back on the regular
Came here with a friend and we both enjoyed the tom yum and the spicy fish. The only thing I would suggest is to reduce the salt in the fish (we were a bit thirsty a few hours after eating) but everything had great taste and the manager was very kind!
Lion Thai is the best you can visit if you need you fix of Thai food... The ambience is so good...speed of service and courtesy of the owner better... The quality and deliciousness of the food unmatched to any other Thai restaurant I have been to... I have been here several times and have never ever had a bad experience...love this place and will recommend it to all!
