Good Indian food. The hostess was extremely polite and accommodating. I liked the atmosphere of the place as well.

Had two chicken curries here with mushroom rice. It was pretty good. I love how you can select the spice level for some of the dishes. Would recommend this place.

We go for a LOT of curries on a regular basis and are trying different Indian restaurants in the area. Interesting reading some of these other reviews. We clearly went on a bad night. Food was only ok with some dishes but poor with others (mushroom curry was frozen peas and carrots with no mushrooms). Service was polite and timely but never been charged that much for popadoms, pickles and corkage, disgraceful, especially considering the decor of the place which clearly needs a revamp. Give it a try and make your own opinion but don't expect too much, maybe our expectations were too high after reading some of the other reviews on here. We rated our meal at 4.5 out of 10 before we got the rip-off bill.

Really a nice restaurant and great food. 3 of us were there and left at 8.00 PM. Only 3 tables were occupied so when we asked for a 3 way split and were happy to pay $30 each when the bill was $86.00 thought there wouldn't be a problem. We were told sorry but no. Well I am sorry but there are many restaurants in Joondalup so sorry...we won't be back.

We absolutely enjoyed the food that we ordered, my son loved the butter chicken and the Lamb Rogan Josh and Bombay aloo curry was delicious too. Naan bread is something that I always order at sha palace with the curries and the combo never disappoints me. Staff was friendly and helpful too.

The best Indian food around and I've tried them all! Always consistent. And the same owners for over 10 years! That in itself is a rarity......Top notch!

Takeaway meal was boring. All 4 the curries we had tasted as if they were the same sauce base. Madras was nothing like its supposed to be - just tomatoey and bland. Naan was ok, but probably wouldn't go back.

Very poor. Advertised outside $35 dinner for two delivery available. This of course is not the case and us only for dine in. When pointed out to the staff they said it was used to get people in and refused to change it. The price wasn't important for me however I refuse to eat from an establishment that deliberately misleads. Also delivery is cash only and can't be pre paid.....maybe something for the ATO to check out. Highly recommend Shakira in Clarkson. It's tops

Visited from Melbourne and was not disappointed at all! Was craving some Indian food and found this little gem. It does not look like much but the food tastes great! Reminded me when I visited India. Service was really good also. The owner came over and had a lovely chat with my family and I. Would highly recommend and go again when I'm back in Perth.

Went for mother's day. They were very busy, however managed to get us a table. We ordered our food straight away, but didn't get our food served for 1hour 15minutes. by then kids were tired, hungry and irritated. So I didn't enjoy my meal as once we were served, we ate in quickly 15 minutes and left as kids had had enough. Also our main curry was the wrong one but they did bring the right one very quickly, which was tasty. The dosa was nice, however the daal with it was thick and looked stoggy. The kulfi was really yummy. I can't rate the experience and taste of food higher than 3 due to the long delay. Hopefully will get to try it another time and rate again when it's not a busy time.

Came here twice with my family and was totally impressed ! Amazing place to eat and try different variety of Indian cuisine under one roof - starting from chaats, to chole bhatura to South Indian food and finger licking sweets and regular Indian curries. My family and I were given the utmost attention - asked us if we need anything for our 1 year old and for our parents. This place is very reasonably priced for Perth standards and is a real value for money place. Keep it up !! Excellent service, amazing food and a great vibe.

Took some of my family to Imli last night. We all absolutely loved it, including my dad who’s a tough critic! The food was absolutely delicious, and service was warm and friendly. Every dish was cooked to perfection. We all thought it was the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back to Imli again!!

Had a takeaway from Imli this evening . Chili paneer and sheekh kebab for starters and chicken masala for main with butter soft naan. All the dishes were full of flavour, authentic Indian cuisine , and to top it off , very friendly service with a smile ..will definitely be returning

The potion was small, salad supplied was very very little, the quality of maru bhajia was not at all what it should be and the chutney supplied with it was not good. 5 pani puri cost nearly $10 and same with dahi puri. Both half filled. Bhatura supplied with chana were very oily. Not worth on Mother's Day and generally too costly.

1- we were served mango chutney, imli chutney n mint chutney with pappadum (complimentary). Hardly any indian restaurant in Perth does this. 2- entree was paneer tikka which was awesome, good quality and quantity. 3- veg thali which included 3 sabji, dal, sweet, naan and rice. Everything was made fresh piping hot and best quality. 4- amrtisari kulcha and chole 5- service was very good and prompt. 6- very much value for money. Best quality, taste and enough quantity. Keep up the work and mantain it as you go.

Coming from curry capital of UK, Bradford, this place is great. Taken 9 years to get a good quality curry in Aus, but have now found A1 10 out of 10.Amount Quality Flavour Service Speed. See you again very soon

Imli is an Indian restaurant on Reid Promenade in Joondalup. They have an extensive menu which includes several vegetarian and vegan options. We found that asking the wait staff to make the dishes dairy free, they substituted coconut milk and coconut yoghurt where they could. Veggie samosas are a great starter option, but quite filling.

Best Indian in Joondalup.

What lets them down is the hidden extras (rice etc) that should be included in the set menu but isn’t.

Otherwise a local gem!

Came here on a chilly Tuesday night... greeted with a warm and friendly welcome... all the food we ordered was of the highest quality... naan bread was very light and fluffy also the Kashmiri naan was delicious... the tarka dhal was very flavoursome... really pleasantly surprised to discover it was under new ownership ... it really was one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in a long time... we’ll definitely be back
Came here for lunch and had the butter chicken and plain naan. Naan was soft and light. Butter chicken sauce was really delicious, however, the chicken wasn’t the best quality. Good value at $12 for lunch. Would return for a vegetarian dish.

Went to Imli in Joondalup at lunchtime, it was a cold wet day, so there wasn't many people around. I didn't think the restaurant was open at first as there were no lights on, it didn't look particularly inviting from outside to be honest. The lady serving was very welcoming and friendly (she even turned the heater on and sat us near it). The food was exceptional, I had a goat curry and it fell off the bone, the spice level was fairly low, but they do have more powerful curries on the menu. For me it was great, there were many layers of flavour, I could tell that the chef knows how to make a proper curry.
I will definately frequent Imli again and recommend that you visit here if you like quality Indian food.

Initially the food was great but it appears a new chef is on board and unfortunately the quality of food has gone down hill. The last 2 visits which included chicken dishes have not been edible. The quality and quantity of chicken very poor to say the least. The final bill price also seemed to have suddenly increased. Disappointed.
