Review Peppermint Green - Joondalup

One of the best if not the best coffees in Perth! ☕️💪Awesome venue with a super cute gift shop, amazing staff and environmentally conscious owner. 💚 They even recycle their coffee grounds so you can enjoy your caffeine fix guilt free. ☕️♻️.

Great little find. I’ll be honest, only stopped in as I was starving before grabbing beer brew supplies from the guys next door, but really impressed. Great coffee, quick service and turnaround. Brekkie wrap was great and the peanut butter brownie was indulgent beyond belief in the best way. Interesting selection of homewares and clothes also on display. Will be coming back when I have more time.

Stumbled across this deceptive cafe while waiting for my daughter to finish her ballet class. From the outside it looks pretty plain, but when you walk through the doors you'll find a much bigger space than expected! Friendly staff, great drinks, didn't have time for food but the menu looks fab. Local handmade goods for sale too, nice to see the support for small businesses. Will definitely be back!

Very cute little cafe, hidden away prefect for a little breakfast or lunch date. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, staff are friendly and the food was good.

I was in the area last week and thought to get coffee as they seem to have good review. No greeting and no smile from this staff. I then saw another lady served the customer after me - I approached her and said "wish I was served by you as you serve your customer with smile, nicely". She appreciated it and gave an excuse as they were so busy from morning 🤷‍♀️ Smile costs you nothing, it even gives you positive vibe to yourself and others.

Love this place ❤ I ordered bacon and eggs today and their bacon is the best, not loads of fat like at other places. Scrambled eggs were yum and their coffee is always good. They have some really cute things for sale made my local people

Went to get granddaughters school uniform this morning, and next door is this unassuming coffee shop, what lies behind that front door is worth taking a look. Nothing fancy but very homely and welcoming and the small but ample menu is served by friendly staff and is of excellent quality. We even managed to borrow a book for the flight back to the uk, on the proviso we bring one back next time we visit, and believe me we will be visiting again

Very impressed with the unique look of the coffee shop. The staff and service were top notch. We were there for breakfast and everyone chose something h different - amazing good all round. Great coffees made this birthday breakfast an absolute winner! We will be back and will recommend to others. Thank you!

Great coffee and amazing savoury muffins. Generous breakfast and snack options for a coffee shop. A little gem

All the staff, the decor and just the general vibes of the place are so lovely that you don't even care whether your food or coffee is good. So, it's a massive plus that the food is always great and the coffee is fantastic!

Best place for coffee in Joondalup. We meet there every Friday and always have the best coffee and friendly smiles. Check out their early morning specials. $3 for a coffee! Ok, limited offer but such a good deal! Thanks guys!

This place is cute. Can’t give 5 stars because I didn’t eat here. The coffee was nice and strong though. Lovely ambience and I’ll be back to try the food. The gift store in the entrance is wonderful as well and I’m keen to purchase some goodies.

One of the only places who's Almond cappuccinos I adore!!!! So hard to find one that tastes amazing but no matter who makes them here they are always consistent. Today I also had a good sized Tuna pattie with a side salad $9.90 and I was very happy with it. My new fave coffee shop 😊

This place looks small from the entry but when you walk in it's actually quiet a big cafe. The coffee here was good. I did not enjoy the food. I got a savoury muffin and it was bland small and expensive.

An accidential find this morning and was pleasantly surprised. Nice big open casual dining space with a variety of places to sit. Has a bit of an identity issue with it trying to look hipster but mixing it up with shabby chic. Greeted by with a smile and the usual order of my soy cap was good. They use beans from the Big Brew in Wangara. When I collected my takeaway it was very hot to touch which to me usually means shit coffee but it was fine. I think the cups weren't insulated. A nice mix of muffins and slices. Much better coffee beans else where.
Lulu's Opinion
We came to this place because someone we know told us to. The place is lovely looking and the decor is very cool. It's quite comfortable to sit around and have a drink and a chat. The sandwiches are okay... Had the toasted ham and cheese roll. It was okay, I think I expected more for the price and was slightly underwhelmed overall. I kind of expected the roll to be bigger and the fillings to be tastier. My iced coffee was quite pleasant. If I was in the area again I might go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Peppermint Green is my daily morning routine. Great coffee and nice sandwiches/muffins etc. The place is always busy during the day with parents & prams but the service is still quick and comes with a smile. Recommended.

Great friendly place with excellent coffee. I like a good coffee and they're hard to find in Perth but peppermint green were spot on and my lunch was fresh n tasty. I'll be back for sure.

I microwaved bacon and egg roll is not fresh. Coffee was ok but nothing to write home about. It's a shame there are hardly any good cafés north of the river.
Coffeeaddict
I so badly wanted this place to be good as there are NO half decent cafés in the area. But alas the coffee is substandard and overpriced. Hiring a barista and not someone who's done a 2 hour coffee course would be a start. Service is friendly though.

Poor service, staff aren't friendly. Coffee is rubbish. Only saving grace is the decor. I love the urban feel. Still, decor isn't the saving grace.

For a coffee house was pretty poor coffee. Not good. I was just looking for a good cafe and this is not it. Overpriced watery coffee. Would not go again.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a fridge with nice look food and drinks. This was not the case however. Coffee was overpriced and so was the food. All milk, no coffee. Not nice at all.

Worst coffee i have been in the coffee industry for 30 years in perth and if you gonna serve coffee do it properly. The food prices wow!!!!! good luck.

Came here today with my boyfriend on a lunch date. It was recommended by my brother, who came 3 days ago. He said the decor was nice and the coffee was passable (which is actually almost a compliment from him, a coffee snob).

I had high hopes for this place once I walked in, as I found the decor to be cozy and attractive. The place is light and airy and makes good use of furniture and ornaments.

Sadly, the food and drink did not do the decor any justice. We ordered the pea and ham soup with a side of chicken and avo toastie, a toasted bacon/guacamole/cheddar toastie, a cappuccino and a soy flat white.

The food was average. The soup was a bit watery/not creamy enough. The toasties were nice but I was a bit confused as to why they served it with corn chips! The salad was also average.

The coffees were the BIGGEST let-down (ha-ha). They were served in massive cups (though we ordered regular size), about as big as a mug. That would have been okay if the coffee was actually good, but both coffees were extremely weak and watery. My soy coffee actually tasted more like almond milk than soy, so I was extremely confused. Nevertheless, I'd have to say even McCafe makes better coffee than this place. Please don't sacrifice quality for quantity.

I love Peppermint Green!
Trying desperately to not get addicted to the protein balls, and their coffee is always on point. I'm picky about my cafes but this place is my new no# 1

Bacon and egg roll. I bought a bacon and egg roll on Thursday 7/5/15 it was the worst bacon and egg roll I have ever had, the bacon was two pieces of fatty streaky bacon, the egg tasted like it had been cooked about two days ago, the roll I can not even mention, it all was heated up in a sandwich maker, and on top of that I was charged $8.50, one place I will not go back.to.

John Brogan.

Newly opened Peppermint Green in the Winton Industrial estate of Joondalup is a welcome and much needed, quality coffee shop. With a fashionable spacious urban industrial decor, baby changing facilties and plenty of space for prams, I am sure this place will be very popular with mums groups in the area. We understand from the management that they will sectioning off an area for crawlers/toddlers to play in with a few soft mats, colouring in, books and wooden toys. For something to drink choose from the coffee's, tea's, bottled juices, iced coffee's and milkshakes. Feeling pekish? Choose from a variety of menu options including tasty wraps and sandwiches or a multitude of cakes, scones, muffins and slices. During our visit the kids enjoyed a Caramel Milkshake and English Scone with Jam, Butter and Cream to share ;-) I slurped on my usual pot of tea and my mummy friend delighted in a rather spicy Chicken Tikka Wrap which her 4 year old insisted on taking bites of despite it being spicy!
