Review Trotters Cafe - Joondalup

Perfectly cooked eggs, very generous portions & Best customer service. They were flat on busy. Coffee is great. Very busy cafe and so many options to choose from. Can’t fault it. Our new brekky place to go.

Breakfast on the run. Just wanted a quick bite on the go with no fuss. By far one of the best bacon and egg rolls I have had or seen in a long time. Very satisfying. Will recommend and will be getting this again on the future. (Sorry for the bad pic… I was hungry).

Sorry to say… the worst food in a long while.. fried eggs were baked hard like rubber, sausages looked like dead mens fingers and under cooked… beans were only tepid… I only ate a slice of toast, half a hard egg yolk, and a taste of the sausage and a mouthful of beans and that was it… truly awful, I know they are understaffed but it’s no excuse for serving rubbish it really isn’t… couldn’t even be bothered to ask for a refund - I was hoping the waitress would ask why I’d left the food but she didn’t… sums up the place..

I’m a very long term customer of Trotters, and have always had a positive experience dining there, coffee is great, and the food and service are too - until yesterday! Very disappointing - the girl taking the orders was unable to provide plain pancakes with a side of bacon because the new computer system did not have a button for her to place that order - there was nothing on the menu with that description - so her solution was to tell us that she couldn’t help us. I’m at a loss to understand why a cafe would let customers walk away simply because the computer didn’t have an appropriate button, this is not mcdonalds prepared method of ordering. I will think twice before going back to one of my favourite places

I came in wanting a hearty breakfast being cold and wet outside, ordered my breakfast and the girl at the counter was rude and uninterested in her job. Kept talking to other workers while I was trying to order. Got my food in decent time, but the food was beyond disappointing. Bacon was cold and rubbery, not cooked properly, tasted like it was expired. The single egg I got was tiny, the bread was stale. The baked beans came in a massive bowl, which was nearly impossible to hold to tip onto my plate. Will not return. This is the second time I’ve come here and I was disappointed then as well.

Best breakfast i have ever had. Big portions, nicely cooked sausages and bacon. Overwhelming atmosphere, lovely staff and best coffee around. Staffs were accomodating and very quick to serve. My partner had a Salmon benedict which was a bang on. The best. Kids meal and nice play area outside. We will be regulars and will be back sure. Heard of their steak pies are the best in the area and will try it next time. They were very busy and full of morning rush and staffs were very happy serving all very quickly. Nicely managed and very well organised. Thank you Trotters cafe for your amazing food and service. It made my day.

After several nice meals here in past. Feedback the Omlette I had this morning was aweful. Not cooked, runny mess the ham and mushrooms not cooked in it. Could not be eaten apart from small section at end. Thank you for refund which I rightly got as I was left hungry watching my partner enjoy his lovely classic benedict which was yummy apparently 😫

Just a great value for money breakfast, you can request to leave something off the meal and the waitress more then happy to suggest something to be in place which was very pleasing

Just had breakfast here and loved it. Sad that i couldnt finish it, but i had vegetarian nachos and they were very yummy. Great price for what you get too. Husband got one of their long chicken and bacon rolls and loved it, said the coffee was the best hes ever had. Would definitely recommend and return again :) oh and the staff were very lovely and the environment is clean and music isnt too loud. Perfect place for a nice quiet breakfast �

After 10 years in Australia this is the first proper breakfast I've found. "Real Bacon" not the ham that Aussies call bacon and black pudding. It's a good time to be alive, I'll be back

Not only are the staff super friendly and food good - a sandwich, hot fresh chips, juice and coffee just cost $15.50 good serves at a good prices!!

Wow, just had club sandwich with chips which included the salad bar, massive plateful of food tasty and well worth the money, nice friendly staff served with a smile.....thanks will be back

The name Trotters suggests a typical London café where you can buy a full English breakfast, bangers and mash, pie and chips, egg and bacon sandwich. What you get is nothing traditionally English apart from fish and chip. The Coffee Club is next door, go there instead.

We had a Club Sandwich + Chicken/mushroom pie, both with excellent chips + beautiful gravy. 2 pots of tea with loose leaf tea was very nice. Also a small side salad. Will be going back.

Food is not consistently cooked~ sometimes ok, other times not... for the most part, not. If a complaint or critique is made, some* of the staff become defensive and unpleasant.<br/><br/>We live in the area and tend to avoid the store.

One of the cheapest places to get a no frills breakfast around, the staff are friendly, they are happy to change the menu to suit, and for the price the breakfast beats some of the local places charging almost double to get a bit of parsley on top of your egg.<br/>I cant recommend it highly enough.

Having visited Trotters for breakfast a few times now, not once has it been met with anything but strong satisfaction.<br/><br/>The menu is flexible and tasty, while the service is warm and friendly. Highly recommended as an alternative option to the Coffee Club which sits next door.

We were in the area for some Boxing Day sale & didn’t want to be waiting for ages next door at Coffee Club as they were super busy. Decided to give this place a go & we were surprised by the meal that came out. It definitely was cheaper than next door & what came out was pretty good. If u like a good chip this is the place for u, we didn’t have to wait long either for the food & it came out piping hot. Would definitely come back here if I’m in the area again.

Recently had the eggs benedict  at Trotters  with a large  coffee and must say they were really well made and filling  Wife had a toasted roll and cold drink which was really nice .Would recommend this  place to anyone as good location Bunnings opposite and other shops nearby .Value for money.

Well this was a very nice surprise !<br/>Usually go next door to the CC , but thought we would give this wee cafe a go.<br/>It was terrific , prompt service , clean surroundings and lovely tasty food.<br/>Had the BLT and Ptnr had Breakfast roll<br/>All really good, neighbours food looked good too & much cheaper than you know where !

This place isn't bad at all. Infact it's better than Dome and other breakfast places around. Next time your in the joondalup area make sure you check it out

Love this Cafe! Great coffee and yummy home made pies/sandwiches at decent price. Doesn't matter what time you go, the staff are always friendly with a great attitude.

I go here quite often and i must say the homemade pies that these guys make are awesome. The pastry is yummy and the fillings are amazing. The chicken and leek pie is my favourite. Thanks for making real food real tasty.

If you like only fools and horses then you will love trotters. Great cafe atmosphere, the food is amazing and Jodie the barista makes the best coffees. Definitely worth a visit

What a great little place, lovely coffee and lovely staff! My coffee came out with ordinary milk not soy and was replaced no questions and upgraded to a large :) It has a coffee club right next door so has to compete with that but don't ignore this cafe, coffee is heaps cheaper and tastes great!

Its catchphrases have entered everyday language and I apologise for using many of them in this article, which is actually about Trotters Cafe in Joondalup, a new cafe that pays homage to the show,

Set in the perfect location after a bit of shopping, Trotters has a really nice ambience and the staff were really friendly. Food is all handmade in house - we shared a chicken baguette and it was deliciously warm. Glad to have discovered this little gem in Joondalup!
