Review The Sovereign Arms - Joondalup

Ordered grilled fish and chips and chicken parmigiana. Fish was so over cooked it was like rubber. The skin had curled up tight. Chips were over cooked too. No tartare sauce. Normally I would say something when you pay, but here you pay first when you sit outside. Pretty disappointing.

Had a lovely steak and vegetables. Meat was cooked to my liking. My husband had Salmon and vegetables, looked amazing. Attentive waitess and gentleman looking after us. Really recommend 👌

Been here a couple of times not a problem. Went one night for my birthday with family had the worst service, table wasn’t set up had to wait, food was good but came out slow and when we did cake didn’t even give us plates had to go ask. At the end when everyone was paying for their meals they went to over charge us when everything was paid for!

Had the most amazing experience tonight as it was the first time here. Our server Bree was the most welcoming and made our night out very enjoyable!! Will be coming back especially if Bree is there !!

Normally I would rate this a "5", But the grilled Barramundi was so small. If I was the Chef, I would have been embarrassed serving this up. I frequent the Sovereign pretty much monthly and cannot understand the shift in standards. I will go back again to judge if this was a one-off as the portions previously have always been generous. Hmmm... Let's hope this last time was a bad day for the chef!

The food was delicious staff were lovely and very professional. Band was so loud we couldn't talk to the friends we went out with and had to change tables, the band was still to loud.

Best place in Joondalup for a meal. Love the Seniors special lunch, staff make 5 star dining. Wonderful value for money.

I liked their indoor setting for seats. Live music in outdoor area. Karaoke in indoor area. Wasn't that busy at the time of visit. Security guard at the entrance was a bit rude. Food was pretty good.

I’ve come in for a few Sunday sesh feeds here and there and it’s never disappointed. The Sov burger and the steak sarni are always great value for money and fill me right up every time. Definitely some of the best pub food I’ve ever had.

We visited the sovereign arms pub yesterday and we were very disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the place. Our table was dirty and my chair was sticky. The lady serving us just picked my chair up and swapped it with the chair from the next table without cleaning it. The food was good, services was good but the cleanliness wasn't!

Awesome food, awesome atmosphere, great staff, good price point. Thanks guys for a great day !

My partner and I came for lunch yesterday with our almost 2 year old , staff was very friendly , the food was amazing , huge and awesomely priced � the only drama was that it took so long to get my coffee , and also the food took awhile when there was not it of people in there . We had a really nice waitress who offered us cheaper alternatives for our fussy baby and was very helpful ! Defo will be back as the food is killer !

Love this place! Come here every weekend and i think its honestly the best pub for millennials to come to on a weekend. It has a great outdoor smoking area, great bartenders and a dancefloor! Its the new BLVD and everyone knows it. PLEASE stay open after 12 id rather stay here than go to any nightclub!.

Been coming here a lot with the usuall and it’s the best local pub of Joondalup/Perth . Dani and the manager Emma are wicked staff members. (Deffs open past 12 on fri and sat) !!!!!!! Just wanna say stay open past 12 if I didn’t already say that. Shout out to Fenton and Dave the mad Thursday acoustic homies.

Ordered a vegetarian burger, this was served with 2 charcoal buns (they were black, which didn't add to it, instead looked a bit disgusting) I never eat the buns. Change the buns back to the normal burger buns

Amazing food , the share platter was the best Iv had in years and great relaxing atmosphere

Went there for dinner and the wait staff were extremely friendly, knew their menu and specials and could talk about each dish which was great and had really friendly, polite but not invasive service I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection so tender and soft with the skin incredibly crispy and it was delicious - will definitely be going back there for sure Also really good serving sizes

The vege burger is rubbish - raw holumi yuck. The gnocchi is great. The service is very average. We used to love this place but the last 4 visits were worse than average. Not going back anymore.

The bar staff use there finger to put lemon in your drinks I thought that why they were supplied with tongs and the door men are just bullies learn to tell the difference between someone who is drunk and someone who is not .

Only had a beer but was nice , only problem I had was tv was on with some American pawn type show with no sound !! Bit sill suppose I could have asked the staff to change channels but was only in for one beer

Yum!! Just finished our family lunch; beef roast, prawn linguine, kids Hawaiian pizza, kids cheeseburger and a bowl of chips. All changes catered for-(no meat in the cheeseburger, no pineapple on the pizza). Awesome, friendly service! Well done guys!!

We popped in for a bite to eat and mixed it up a bit and created our own tapas. It was really good food and service. Thank you
