Review La Vita Italian Restaurant - Joondalup

Had dinner here last night with my husband. The service was excellent, waitresses were attentive but not overly. The menu was varied but not too much that you are overwhelmed, and reasonable prices. The food arrived in good time. My husband ordered the saffron rice balls as an entree, I didn't have an entree but tasted the rice balls, they were delicious. For main course my husband ordered a creamy chicken and bacon fettuccine and I had meat lovers pizza. Both dishes were really delicious. Will definitely be returning to La Vita soon! đź‘Ś

Lovely little Italian restaurant with great customer service and generous servings of good food! My father and I had dinner here and they accidentally missed my father's order, were so apologetic and offered us a free glass of wine each. We did not mind in the slightest but their customer service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Highly recommended!

Went for dinner. It was a quiet night. The atmosphere is really nice, it's warm and cosy. The food was good (I had gnocchi and prawns) but my friend had a smaller portion than everyone else and she paid the same. So that was strange. Service was good otherwise.

Shocking. Whilst the staff were polite and helpful the entire night was a disaster from start to finish. At the point we were sure the food would be presented we were instead informed there was no veal available. We reordered and waited . Sometime during this period someone threw on the bright fluorescent lights. An hour later we were still waiting for our meals. We were finally presented with the chicken dish which was entirely cold and dry bar the mash potato. The seafood dish had been presented with entire prawn heads in it. Two dishes were missing entirely. Others at the table had almost completed their meal when an almost inedible alcohol flavoured pasta dish was placed on the table complete with barely cooked brocolli. Fifteen minutes after that we were still waiting on a salad. We observed several other groups leaving having waited for extensive time periods for food. We finally gave up on the salad and chose to leave. The entire experience was terrible. The only praise I can offer is for the service of the waitress. Some serious teething problems for a newly re opened restaurant.

Not worth the wait at all! We arrived at 7pm and didn't eat until 8.45pm. The drinks order was wrong, cocktails were basically layered shots from room temp bottles, the water was lukewarm, entrées were quite nice but average. Mains were ridiculously overpriced, we had the chicken (instant mash, overcooked chicken, cold veggies and packet sauce), the bolognaise tasted like it was straight out of a can, and everything was cold. When we mentioned our concerns we were told "every table tonight has complained, you should have said something earlier" we would have, if anyone had come to check on us and ask about our meals! Owner didn't seem to care at all. Very disappointed. My dad walked out and we are now at the pub.

Myself and my kids have been eating out here for several years now. Its a lovely environment, nice decor, with welcoming staff. We always go for our usual items, Spaghetti, Garlic Prawns, Chicken Parmigiana. We really like it and really enjoy going there.

Haven't been there for years. My fettuccine was Luke warm, hardly any cheese and quite tasteless. My sister had Gnocchi and the sauce was straight out of a jar not even seasoned. She complained and no one came to speak to her about the complaint. The staff were very nice, but the chef should get out of the kitchen. Will not be returning.

We went last night for dinner for my husbands birthday. It was beautiful, very romantic table (we got to pick) we apparently were waiting a while for our food (neither of us even noticed as we sat talking) the waitress apologised for our long wait and advised us our meals were only 5mins away then offered us a free drink each we hadn't noticed the time so we said thank you but no. Our meals did arrive 5mins later and were huge and beautifully presented they offered Parmesan and cracked pepper and then apologised again for the wait and asked please that we have a free drink, we accepted. The food was delicious we both had pasta, they even changed my husbands which was supposed to be penne to fettuccine like he wanted. All in all a wonderful experience we will definitely be back.

Flavourless and boring gnocchi. The pizza was so boring. So pricy and what a waste of a Sunday dinner. I won’t go back again. They better change something quick in this place to get it tasting good again like it used to

NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!
Not to be racist, but this place shouldn’t even be called a Italian restaurant. Full of Indian waiters, that doesn’t know how restaurants work.
We ordered a carbonara and a marinara, the restaurant didn’t look that busy but took over 45 minutes and other people got their food way before us, even though they came after us. The food ended up not coming to our table (thank god), because the table next to us had a garlic bread with A MOULD as a little garnish!!
Never again. Not even a chance.
